Marcus Easley....the new James Hardy
1B4IDie replied to K-Gun10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree to a certain extent. Did you see his first catch in the NFL? Then the one against the Giants? He does seem to have velcro hands and has no fear to go after the ball. Those two qualities tend to do one well in the NFL, even without elite NFL speed. The Chargers and Dolphins thought Welker was camp fodder too. -
Its time to resign Byrd, Levitre and Urbik
1B4IDie replied to freester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Incorrect. You don't risk losing your core guys. That is not how you operate. If Levitre is a core guy you plan on building your O-line you show the player that you see him as a team leader and core member of the team and you sign him in the offseason before he becomes a FA. There are 4 weeks to get that done. I believe he will be extended before october. You either know now or don't know now that levitre is your stalwart O-linemen nothing (barring catastrtophic injury) is likely to change that decision in the next 20 weeks. -
Lee Evans is a dead-end for this team. We want players that have the needle pointing to Full in their tank. Lets not look back at the past. You just heard your Ex-Girlfriend broke up, The girls you're dating aren't really working out for you right now. So you think hmm maybe I should give her ring, as you think of all the good times together. Don't do it! Just think of the far majority of the non-sepration, "decoy" plays, remember the fact that Fitzy and Lee were never on the same page. They never had any chemistry and never consistently connected. Roosevelt has 100 times more potential in this offense than Lee Evans (and I don't think Roosevelt will make the team.) Don't look back. Look forward. nice simile

I know! I think you're a good contributor to this board but I'm going to have to block you on account of your profile picture. I was hopping it would just be a short loved phase but it seems its hear to stay.     I would put more puke faces but this is all TBD allows.

Because, you may not understand if you've only seen the Bills FO operate prior to Nix, You sign the players you want to keep the season before they become Free Agents. Thats how the NFL works. The players you don't mind losing or the players you don't believe in long term, those players you let go into the season without any additional years in thier contract. So the reason you sign Levitre before the season starts is because that is the expectation for every player that wants to stay with their current team and every team that wants to keep their stud players. There really shouldn't be any questioning of this, Buddy Nix #1 priority right now is sign Levitre before the season starts. Because this is the NFL. If a player is not a special player and there is a younger, cheaper player that can contribute just as much as the non special player. You go younger and cheaper 100% of the time. Thats how the NFL works. Spencer Johnson is not a special player. Dwan Edwards is not a special player. For the money they make they are definitely on the block for Cap Casualties, if a younger cheaper guy steps up. -

Don't even in say that because Roosevelt would be a great Wes Welker understudy. You can see him excelling at the role. -
Exactly its real football not Madden. The 4 DEs are going to rotate. If you have that stable you want to keep your horses fresh in the 4th QTR.

"Show me the Baby" Contest. Pick the player that will score the most Rushing and Receiving TDs or most sacks. -
+1 Plus he is guy that strikes me as being better the second time around as HC. He seemed in over his head the first time as HC. Now he has had some years to see what not to do (Saban) and what to do (Mike Smith) Its a pretty ****ty franchise though so he may be in over his head again. Sign freaking MJD and Blackmon, wtf!

FA Safety Jim Leonhard Visiting Bills
1B4IDie replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly, blue Leonhard seems like a guy that will be taking the coaching path after his NFL career is over. What better way than to help George Wilson coach up Byrd and Searcy and contribute to the team on Special Teams. Plus he is a fan favorite. If he can actually still play and rehabbed after the injury it seems like a perfect fit. -
What the Browns deal might mean for the Bills
1B4IDie replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1.) The Browns FO is finally on the right track, why would the make a change now? 2.) Whaley may know of the minority owner of the Steelers that lives in Knocksville. He may not. 3.) The Bills are on the right path why would Whaley jump ship early? He will be a much hotter commodity if he helps turn it into a winner. 4.) Nix is old. Clearly Whaley is being groomed to take over. Nothing to see here -

Bills hold breath after David Nelson injures knee

Why would TJ Graham get more first team reps? Why would it be a blessing in disguise? Is your head actually fluffy? -
This is not for your casual Fantasy Football Fan this league is deep. This is the 8th season, we have a group of seasoned professionals. $10 league dues. $55.05 goes to the Winner, the rest goes to site fees. 12 Teams, 27 Keepers, We draft 3, then cut 3 before the start week 1. ABout 50% TD/Yardage scoring. If you think you can handle a taking over a dynasty team and you're invested let me know. Thanks,

Tim Graham's "Press Coverage" blog
1B4IDie replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The D line and o-line cuts this team makes are gonna be snatched up quickly by the rest of the NFL. I'm sure teams will be watching the Bills pre season tape closely. For a change the rest of the NFL will be picking through our trash. Those camp battles are gonna be tight. 2 years ago who would have thought that the lines would be an area of strength and depth? -

Shawne Merriman traning videos
1B4IDie replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank you! I didn't feel like explaining to "knuckle heads" the difference between practical explosive strength training and isolating beach muscles. Again its a promo video for a gym. The Subtext is "If you want to look jacked like Shawne Merriman does come work out at this gym." -

1B4IDie replied to Booger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bottom line, no one knows anything about Michael Floyd's ability in the NFL. But when you're bigger, faster, and can jump higher than AJ Green, Start multiple years in college and will have Fitzgerald opposite you, odds are pretty good you might get a catch or two. Oh wait he got drunk and in a fight twice, and a DUI therefore he will never play well in the NFL. -

Stephon Gilmore isn't list as the starter on the Bills depth chart before training camp, goes to show you . . . nothing. It doesn't matter what the depth chart says in July. http://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart.html -
Shawne Merriman traning videos
1B4IDie replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They called it "Low Weight, Slow Motion." If his "Low weight" is 20 lbs more than your max . . . Sorry Dude. Not really. He already has the required muscle mass to play. Its basically an advertisement for a gym and the personal trainer so I'm not gonna be critical. I'd be far much more interested in seeing him do some running and changing direction at speed. -

1B4IDie replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is there videos of him running full speed then changing direction? I know he is a big dude and can lift weights. What I saw might help him in body building competitions, I don't know about football games. -
I mean to single you out, Why the hell are you on a message board in July if you don't get a buzz and feel pride if your team wins?
