So Given that we're playing Bellicheat. Who always plays with IR report, or more accurately does not give out detailed injury information. The Bills should continue to say that F-Jax and Spiller are doubtful and will be game time decisions. Start the First series with Tashard Choice, then sneak both Spiller and F-Jax on the field unexpectedly, before the defense has time to adjust. If Spiller could play 1 play on Sunday it would have the Pats scrambling. Basically the less we know, means the less the Pats know and the less the Pats know the better it will be for Sunday.

If the Bills go 4-2 in Division they will have a very strong chance to with the Division. If they lose to the Fish even once or the Jets again or get swept by the Pats they can just forget about the AFC East Title at all. I like what Easterbrook wrote. "Winning in the division is a test of a team's manhood." Its time for these boys to prove they are men and take care of business in the division this year.

The problem with McKelvin is that he has no ball skills. He is not aware that a pigskin is flying in the air in his direction when he is very near the WR. I don't think he would do well adjusting to a ball thrown his direction even if he were the intended receiver.

Danario Alexander works out for the Bills
1B4IDie replied to poo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He started off last season Hot. I actually started him in a few games early in a deep fantasy league. He is another example of having all the measurable but not be able to stay on the field of play. SJ13 and Da Jones seem to be in rhythm plus some TJ Graham sprinkled in. It seems to be working. If Alexander is actually healthy it can't hurt giving him a shot. He would add a big deep threat to the mix It doesn't seem that he can stay healthy though. I thought Danario Alexander and Sam Bradford would someday put it together but it doesn't look that is going to happen. -
Stadium 75% empty with 5 minutes left to play

Exactly When the Cheifs punted with 4:37 left on 4th and 14 inside the Bills 50. The stadium clearled out because clearly the Cheifs weren't trying to win at that point. I was suprised they got those garbage time TDs. -
Spiller on Top...mistake on ESPN stats?
1B4IDie replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Year over Year RBs are more volitale than WRs or QBs. There are a few exceptions but in the 21st century high picks in Fantasy Football on RBs tend to lead to more disappointment than titles. Not that I had those 5, but not suprised by the volitality. -

It was a beautiful beautiful day and they cut off beer sales at halftime. We weren't beating traffic we were partying in the parking lot. They should have had the cameras pan over the post game tailgates. I never leave a game early even in a blowout loss but it was too nice to stay stuck in the seats. I wanted to pop a few celabratory brews. -
Do you also think there are 10 feet green-blue aliens with cat tails and eyes walking on the set of Avatar? This is clealy CGI. It was a forward pass. For the record I choose option 1 and 3 in your poll. You should have multiple options.

You put TJax in when you want to try and draft Matt Barkley. TJax has solidly proven he can't play QB in the NFL.

We just lost a WR, so the Bills sign a RB???

Nelson was our slot receiver. Yes he is tall and looked like a TE and is not your traditional Wes Welker style slot machine but that was his role in the offense. I don't think you're going to put Brad Smith in the Slot or Marcus Easley. TJ Graham has also mostly been used outside as well and the Bills FO was adamant that he was not drafted as a slot receiver even though he is 6'0". So I'm guessing the team is trying to figure out what the "F" to do this week. They're probably trying a lot of different configurations in practice. I've seen Da Jones run some inside routes last week as well. Given that the outside route in this offense is actually less important (or has been) I wouldn't be suprised if Da Jones will run more of Nelson's routes this week and TJ Graham is outside. The FO has always set the expectation that WRs are expected to play any and every one of the WR roles. That theory will get put to the test on Sunday. The point being we options at WR on the roster and PS. Rosie or Derek Hagan wouldn't actually add much more than what we got already. When it comes to RBs adding some depth is probably more of a priority. (I didn't read the BB.com article until now, Chris Brown says the same thing I posted ) -
100 million dollar mistake?
1B4IDie replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Jets used a quick passing offense to avoid teh pass rush. Mario Williams is not the problem. The secondary is the problem. Its easy to focus on the $100 Million dollars and put all the blame on Mario but the pass rush was towards the bottom of the list of problem with this team. The Secondary was a joke it appeared their strategy was to keep away from the receivers and hope they fall down on their own. Fitzy's turnover are problem 1A, the secondary is 1B. Mario Williams is somewhere in the teens on the problem list. -
Thank you. Thats why the sky isn't falling as bad. It was a home opener in New York City which is a bad start to the season. I was thinking this would be a loss either way. The Punt return was horrible but fixable. You can't expect the Bills will spot every opponent 31 points. The biggest problem imo is the secondary. Aaron Williams, McKelvin and Gilmore looked horrible. The best DB play of the game was by Donald Jones on a pass that should have been another INT for Fitzy. The Fitzy turnovers and the secondary are much worse than anyone could have expected in week1. If they get that under control they won't be spotting teams points every week. I'm not saying its easy to get that under control I am saying it takes longer for defenses to gel than offenses. The Jets knew what they wanted to do and took advantage of the secondary. You can only hope they learn and get better as a unit.

Jackson suffers LCL injury,nothing conclusive...
1B4IDie replied to bills44's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In real time that injury looked horrible. I thought that may be the last play of his career. The fact that he is walking is encouraging but you can walk on a blown ACL. Its stopping and starting when the ACL is used. I think you can put Fred Jackson on Injured Reserve and designate him to come back, you can designate as many players as you want but you can only bring back 1 player. -
Its going to get worse before it gets better
1B4IDie replied to 1B4IDie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Which is my point the overall schedule is deemed weak, the First 9 games are probably the most difficult 9 games in the league. PLus it never helps when you give the team you're playing 17 points off of turnovers, 1 Pick 6, and Punt return for a TD where no one touches the punt returner. -
Talk all you want about Strength of Schedule. THE first 9 games for the Bills are one of the toughest schedules out there. Best case scenario we're. 5-4. After that debacle yesterday 4-5 or 3-6 is more likeky. None the less the Bills can still finish with a winning record with the cake walk for the last 7 games. Screw up your courage the next 8 games will test your fanhood.

you must have been watching a different team. We're talking about the 2011 Buffalo Bills. -
Yeah I'll be at Laughing Man with a few hundres Bills' Backers. The DC Bills backers moved from mcFaddens to laughing Man two years ago. The T-Shirt this year is sick. So bring $15 and support the DC chapter and get yourself a sweet T-shirt. (My brother designed it but none the less its a sick logo) DC Bills Backers are on facebook too. I'll be there by noon if you get there later you'll be two deep on the bar. Its gonna be Butts to Nuts in that place.
-
Nice catch. That makes much more sense. Hope he gets a pick or three. I'm guessing that may not even throw in his direction too often and pick on Aaron Williams.
-
But there is a little blip of Bills @ Jets for Columbia, SC? That one is weird too.

Awesome map! I'm printing that out and sticking it in my pocket for the home opener! For some reason I tend to get lost while tailgating . . .

Last year I signed up for the PS3 Sunday Ticket and a few days later the online only through directive.com was released for non-DTV subscribers. I'll be at the Bills Backers Bar in DC for Week 1, then going to the home opener in Week 2, and planning to but the online only DTV for Week3 and hook my laptop up to the TV. The Online only is more flexible than the PS3 version incase you have to travel on Sunday you can still watch the game. Thats my plan. Well worth the $250 Lets say I only use for 12 week. Thats less than $25 a week, and I rack up a much larger tab at the Bills' Backers Bar.

Would you watch a "bronze medal" game?
1B4IDie replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they can't get it up for a pro Bowl while in vacation in HI. I don't think the 9ers will get up to play the Ravens for fun or vice versa. What about some kind of FA and Practice Squad bowl like future stars of the NFL bowl. Skills competetion is the easiest and actually better than a lame game -

We'll know in a few hours but you got to think we need some DB help. Roosie may have stuck around Buffalo for something like this. We will see. -
We knew in July that whatever D-linemen and O-Lineman were cut by the Bills in September to get down to 53 were going to be claimed. Its September and Asper and Heard (who I liked more than most. He showed some thangs) both were claimed. The prophecy fulfilled. The Bills have talent on the O and D line now. Nix and Whaley are building the team from the inside out. Show me the baby!
