His resume is horrible is my point and he barely uses his arm. Anyone suggesting he start is on another planet with no connection to reality. I am over Fitz. He has proved without a shadow of a doubt that he is not a starter in the NFL, a good backup QB, but not a starter. TJax has proven without a shadow of a doubt that he should not ever play QB ever again for any NFL team ever. He is horrible. Its a joke this horrible franchise traded for another retread, one that is clearly a waste of roster space. On top of that, it is outrageous that silly, clueless people that want him to Start!

You must not have been watching game film. I'm not sure what you were watching. Here are his stats from his last 8 games. 17/27 - 217 0TD 0INT 12/24 - 148 1TD 2INT 14/30 - 144 Yards 2TD 1 INT 13/16 - 190 1TD 0 INT 21/32 - 224 1TD 0 INT 10/23 - 111 1TD 3INT 15/28 163 1TD 0 INT 22/40 - 271 1TD 1INT Ugly Stats and more importantly I watched a portion of these games and he looked ugly doing it.

What evidence do you have that TJax can complete a pass past 5 yards? This post takes some of our more knowledgeable well written, well thought-out posts on this board to new levels. "I heard of this guy, start 'em. Get 'er Done!"

Say we go 4-3...does that stop a QB change?
1B4IDie replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I couldn't agree with this more! The opening pass against the Chiefs where Chandler was wide open and Fitz basically threw it a few feet in front himself on the ground up to the play in the 4th of the Arizona where Fred Jackson is basically uncovered and 2 yards away from the first down marker. I am so over him. So Over him. He is a horrible horrible QB. I can't understand the few Fitz defenders that are left. -

Yes you are an idiot. There is no long or short term plan to start TJax. If by chance there is a QB change it will be a result of injury or the Bills are eliminated from the playoffs. -
Why is Lindell on this team???
1B4IDie replied to billsFORlife50's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is 100% correct and serves to highlight the **** Sandwiches this franchise feeds to its a fans. The Bills have punted inside their opponents 40 atleast 3 times this season. Pats, 9ers, Cards. It demonstrates a failure in the GM, scouting, Coaching, Special Teams Coaches, and the Kicker and Punter. How an organization can think it is OK to do this in 2012 is unbelievable. If an organization can't get a kicker than can hit 53 yard FGs in perfect weather conditions you have failed at many levels in the organization. It is embarrassing. If your coaching strategy, is "I hope the other team's QB forgets what color jersey he is throwing to" well than, that speaks volumes to the lack of strategy at all. That is not a strategy that is wishful thinking. Its funny Chan thinks he can say that out loud. Wow! You punt when inside your opponents 40, 100% of the time? You might want to 1.) Realize its 2012 and kickers have a much greater range than 1982. 2.) Ask Bill belicheat what he thinks about this. That has to be top 10 silliest posts I have ever read. -
Jimmy Claussen was never a concensus 1st round pick. Lavonte David is a good LB and has had a great start for the Bucs. He has a leader for Nebraska. You're welcome to your opinion but Te'O without a doubt looks like a better prospect to me.
-
I'm pretty sure Te'O is a concensus Top 20 pick and may play himself into first LB of the board. Eifert is nice but I'm pretty high on the 6'7" Chandler. Unless the Bills plan to run a two TE offense like Pats and Eifert is the Herndez TE I'm not sure what Eifert gives you.

Ok so draft 2013, should really be the year that the Bills draft a QB with their first pick of the first round. However if for some reason the draft doesn't work that they need to get their defensive QB of the future. This kid looks special, he is a leader, he plays hard, he won't allow slackers on his team. He seems like he could make everyone on the team better. I've been watching all season after this game for me its official the dude has NFL stud written all over him.

I never saw this coming regarding Dareus's play....
1B4IDie replied to Kipers Hair's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can drop every single player and the DC. Get a High School coach and 11 random defense camp casulaties that are not on a roster and they could not do any worse than the last 6 QTRs of NFL football. Not that I am proposing we do that. Just that the defense has been record breakingly bad for a franchise that has has some terrible terrible teams it really says something. -

Dareus is on pace for an 8 sack season for an interior line man that is pretty good. Its not like they are running right at him. This thread is beyond retarded. The Bills had 6 straight Quarters of bad defense therefore Dareus sucks. Genius! -

You know the Bills are the worst team in the NFL against the run, well technically 3rd worst, but they're only 6 yards difference between the Jests and 'Aints. So how could an individual rank well on a team like that? Run Defense is a team sport. -
Say what you want of Bellicheat but he does see defense trends in the league before anyone else. In the early 2000s when defenses were stockpiled to Stop the run first then Stop the run second and thirdly stop the long ball he moved to the short pass wacky offense. The rest of the NFL slowly followed. Now most NFL defenses are stockpiled to stop the pass and rush the QB and it appears he is moving to a more Rush friendly offense this year. The Bills, late to the game on the Pass Wacky party, should be first in line to follow Bill and Harbaugh\West to a run first offense. Alas they think they have a "Gunslinger" in Fitz so they miss the opportunity to capitalize on the pendulum shift.

+4.5 today. I'd say that is a heavy favorite. Vegas is saying it will not be a close game. The +10 against the 9ers doesn't happen too often.
-
And you won't ever understand. Thanks for your awesome insight. In the future skip the draft threads they aren't going anywhere.
-
This would make more sense if you were proposing the Bills would win. The Cards are the heavy favorite.

A tell tale sign, re: Gailey is done!
1B4IDie replied to Armchair GM's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whatever you excuse you hear for him not being on the active roster is just an excuse. The Bills can't publicly say "Well we're trying to be cheap and we don't want to upgrade the draft pick to a 7th." There is no reason to believe he does not know enough of the offense. Buddy Nix specifically said this was not the case. See Above. The only reason the Bills would put TJax in to a game is 1.) Fitzy is on IR. 2.) The Bills are knocked out of the playoffs and they want to see what options exist other than Fitzy. So if you accept the reasons I gave for playing TJax then why does it matter if he is on the active roster? Brad Smith or CJ Spiller or Fred Jackson can all take direct snaps and play a "Wild Cat" offense so WTF does TJax give you over them? TJax has proven to not have an NFL arm and not have NFL decision making skills. WTF do you want the guy to do? Take a snap, pretend to look for a pass then run? [sarcasm] Wow! What a huge improvement to an offense that already has the 3rd highest number of TDs! Great move! [/sarcasm] -
Its early. At this time in 2010 it was still, Cam Newton . . . who?

The next Bills GM is... Kevin Costner?
1B4IDie replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't like this one bit. Hollywood is part of LA. I'd prefer that LA continue to ignore the Buffalo Bills and continue to operate as if they do not exist. On a side note, did anyone watch the Hatfields & McCoys. I thought it was pretty good. I think Kevin Costner could pull of a Nixonian accent. -

The Bills are not going to escalate the draft pick from a seventh round pick to a sixth round pick in order to please the fans. There is no reason to have TJax on the active roster. He will be on the active roster the minimum number of times to ensure the pick is not conditionaly upgraded to a sixth. I believe it is 6 games on the active roster than the pick is upgraded to a 6th. Therefore, unless there is a catastrophic injury to Fitz or Thigpen TJax will stay off the active roster until week 11 or 12. Which by coincidence the Bills will also know if they are still in playoff contention and Fitzy's future on the Bills is likely also tied to those standings as well. Maybe there is a plan in place . . . -
