  1. In that order!
  2. So now that the ESPN talking heads, especially Jaws, loves the Easley pick, are all those emotions leveled a bit? "Waaa, I've never heard of that guy because I only watch half a dozen college games and read my favorite draft blogs...I want a guy with numbers from the draft....I want a guy with a name I've heard!..." Sound familiar? That's the voice in your head, isn't it?
  3. cam newton? says you? So is that why he's still available? Is that way every team after the bills also passed on him? It never ceases to amaze me some of the draft drivel written here as though it were fact.
  4. So much hand wringing about the patriots' pick trades. They're really in your head, man. Oh NOOOO...the patriots didn't take a player, they took a higher SLOT! OMG!
  5. Wow, more nonsense! Must be draft day!
  6. That would be my guess. I thought we'd take him at 9. Either him or D Thomas maybe.
  7. Never ceases to amaze me how Bills fans always find something to complain about. Unbefreakinglieveable. "Couldn't get it done..." what a joke of a comment. There are 31 other teams out there on the phone. If the Bills had traded up the complaints here would have been ENORMOUS - not only taking a project QB, but giving up picks as well.
  8. Good god, what a whiner.
  9. WOW! Gubbye, Marshawn.
  10. It's gotta be Dan Williams, right?
  11. I think it's going to be either Dan Williams or Derrick Morgan. Guys who can impact immediately in a 34D are hard to find.
  12. Best post I've seen here in a long, long time. Cheers, bud.
  13. Right. But it's fun making an educated guess. This draft will have a lot of entertainment value, due to its depth and multi-day structure.
  14. Thought about Morgan too. And D Thomas, both for the GTech connnection.
  15. Eh, you just want Clausen.
  16. The Bills trade Lynch and the #9 to the Lions for the #2 pick and 3rd or 4th round pick. To get Suh, who looks to be a dominant 2-gap DE. We only have two 34 DEs right now - Edwards and I believe Stroud will make the transition easily - he has the right strength, height, and knowledge. Williams doesn't have the height and Spencer Johnson is a question mark to make that move. But we'll need at least 4, likely 5 proper DEs before the games begin.
  17. Astro, I doubt D Thomas will be available in the 2nd round. Many consider him the best WR, over Bryant. I would not be surprised at all if we took him at 9. Chan knows him well, just as he knew Calvin Johnson. Not that I know much about him, but I've read that he compares favorably to CJ. I also wouldn't be surprised if we take Derrick Morgan, DE. Nix has had a lot of success drafting O Linemen in rounds 2 and 3. I'll bet that's the way we go if Williams and Okung are both gone at 9.
  18. Why not us? Because if we HAD signed him, he would not be worthy of signing. That's the rule, see. Besides, it never ceases to amaze me how fans make so many assumptions about FA moves and the Bills FO. What fans don't have access to (in addition to a lot of other information) is the level of interest of certain FAs in playing in Buffalo. For all you know, the Bills contacted his agent and were told "thanks, but..."
  19. I'd like to see this. NTs are difficult to find. Get your big men early. Dan Williams is probably the best NT in the draft. At least that's the consensus of those who ostensibly know...
  20. Kelsay *should* be good for a 4th round pick. He's a solid (unspectacular) run stopping 4-3 LDE. Even for solid veteran depth if I'm running a 43 I'd give up a 4th for him.
  21. Greetings, Wood. Lacking omniscience and time to scan this site, I had missed your thread. A little update from Chris Brown http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/03/15/k...will-move-a-qb/
  22. The joke is posts like this. Suddenly Kennedy is worth the money now that he signed elsewhere. If we had given him that contract, the posts would have been "What a joke - we bring in a 1st round bust and call it an answer at DT"
  23. Every offseason it's the same thing. Not yet able to make fire or fashion a wheel, some fans come out and share their...thoughts.
  24. Yeah, he played at Fordham, but his size, arm strength and release are tops in this draft. Bet he won't last past the third round I'd be pretty stoked if we pick him. Our new QB coach went to his pro day, so there's clearly some level of interest there.
  25. F no. Quinn is JP Losman with bigger biceps.
