This eight year old kid is absolutely
nodnarb replied to USMCBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well I agree with that 5% which was in disagreement with the same 5% of my original statement, which nullifies your disagreement and forces us into 100% accord. i was never a big van halen nut but i NEVER change the channel when any song from their first three albums is on the radio. And it's true - eddie had a sense for solos that work in the context of a song. He added amazing speed with the sonic sensibilities of a hendrix - albeit not quite on jimmy's level in that regard. -

i agree that rolling stone sucks, and i agree that that kid is impressive as hell, given his age, but musically, that's a snoozefest in my opinion. A million notes a minute and no two good ones in a row, as Keith Richards once said. There are a zillion guys who can play like that, and none of them are good songwriters imo. van halen woke up the world with that kinda play within pretty good rock n' roll songs, but it didn't exactly have the legs to stand the test of time. I'll take a four note solo if it's moving and really suits the song over a solo like that. but still, for his age, that's nuts. -
rtconner, might wanna check out the file - it doesn't open for me and actually freezes up real player. I notice it has a redundant file extension.

one of my favorites: he who despises himself, still respects himself as 'one who despises'.

Pucillo was never a McNally guy. He inherited him, and now he's on the scrap heap. Pucillo's days as a Bill are over. Let's not forget, by midseason, the line under mcnally was playing the best our line has played in YEARS. And that was with Bledsoe back there. Lawrence smith played pretty darn well for an UFA. He played better under McNally than he did as a Raven. We're also forgetting about Dylan McFarland. If you think he has no shot because he was a 7th round pick, take a look at what the Pats have done. Nobody, NOBODY on this board has 1/100th of McNally's knowledge of line play and personnel. Yet so many people seem to think they know better. It's odd.

Posts like this are so absurd all I can do is laugh. You're not comfortable with Gandy and Teague at LT, but you'd be happy with Shelton, a cast off of a 5-11 team? Please tell me why. Enthrall me with your football acumen. Please tell me why your opinion of Gandy/Teague vs. LJ Shelton is more qualified and informed than Jim McNally and the rest of the Bills front office. I can't wait.

he might suck

Check out this phishing scam I just got...

it's also disturbing that the domain registrars don't have a system in place to prevent domain names like this from being used. For all the billions that netsol has, you'd think they could hire a security and fraud staff. Why it's not more regulated is beyond me. -
I"m glad he's not our coach. I don't like his schtick. He's a good common sense coach but I don't think he's a great strategist or anything like that. when i listen to his PCs after a loss I always wince that he's going to embarrass himself. I wouldn't want to deal with that with the bills.
-
he couldn't do anything for the raiders. he couldn't do anything for the hawks. he couldn't do anything for the bills. not even the niners want him. jerry should have retired years ago. now he's just an egomaniac who sucks.

Yea, but tom donahoe is an idiot for not pulling the trigger on that trade. even more redundant evidence that as fans, we don't know SCHITT about the players and what moves would really improve a team and a team's chemistry.

Teacher Taped Student's Mouth Shut
nodnarb replied to Tux of Borg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ten years ago this wouldn't have made the news. twenty years ago it would have been a topic of idle conversation and laughs in the teacher's lounge. thirty years ago it would have been called a witty response to a recalcitrant student. forty years ago the teacher would have brought out a paddle and whacked the kid on the ass, which would have effectively shut him up. This would be considered standard operating procedure for disruptive students. over the past forty years, most measures of scholastic achievement have gone down. PC rules the day. He taped the kids mouth...SO WHAT? sounds pretty damn hilarious, provided the kid wasn't physically harmed. Some kids need a big jolt of humility. The ones that never get it become !@#$s. -
genny cream? can't be serious.

i don't know what's up, but i smell a trade, most likely to philly, for travis. 3rd round pick? corey simon? corey simon and change? who knows, but they clearly are preparing like they don't have travis. interesting

MAJOR Announcement from TD
nodnarb replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This has to be the unveiling of a new throwback uni or a new stadium deal or new turf (again) or a special event with the team of some sort, probably starring JP Losman as Seargeant Seatfiller. What other "event" could there be? -
what uniform should flutie wear in hall of fame?

always good news when one of those bastards finds his way to a cell block. I hope they put him in a room with a 400 LB mongoloid with priapism. -
Howard Simon once again proves he's an idiot !
nodnarb replied to guru's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
howard simon's no idiot. i can't say that about most flutopians. but i know a few so i won't bash 'em en masse -
it does mean the the bills have a sort of forced hand...I don't think they're so high on trafford and whatshisgoatee that they'll leave the position at that plus two starters coming off acl surgery (damn snakebit position). Franks for Henry wouldn't be enough value for GB, unless they're high. Someone pass them a doobie, wouldja?

Flutie going back to new england
nodnarb replied to HudsonValleyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Based on the pats' schedule, especially vs. the bills, they're going to need a play actor QB to prepare their D for more mobile targets. I expect flutie nation to spit vinegar all over donahoe for letting this happen. I think it's great. It's a roster space occupied by a guy who we know can't hurt us. -
