  1. Keep it comin' people, keep it comin. details details. keep an eye on gandy for us if you don't mind. And the backup RBs. And of course more JP
  2. THe only people i know who are that geeky are not ALSO bills fans. The exception is todd, but he doesn't have NFL Network, either. ANYONE? ANYONE? BUELLER? ....frye...?
  3. Sadly, this could be our only hope. Our Obi Wan, if you will: http://www.packers.com/lambeau_field/lambeau_cam/
  4. Ah, but I'm in Rochester. How about this: Barring a local invite, anyone willing to tape it, convert it to a giant wmv file and host it on their server?
  5. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/8702112 could be wrong, but it's dated today.
  6. What time is the game being shown, anyway?
  7. See, I'm stuck with Time Warner cable, the Sans NFL Network cable company. I have to see this scrimmage or I'm going to pace around the house cursing Ted Turner and his family. I'll be throwing punches at an unseen foe. I don't smoke (anymore), don't stink (generally), won't complain about my beer options, won't steal that heirloom off your mantel, won't covet your wife, and won't eat too much. I'll pet your dog, cheer at all the right moments, and get all Archie Bunker on the Packers. References available upon request
  8. Ah, nuts. I've been away from the board for so long I've lost my touch. I shoulda known. Sorry for doubting you. Never again.
  9. Labz, I'm surprised atchoo. It was one practice. His first as The Man. How many first time starters looked brilliant in their first camp, let alone their first practice as #1? You're smart. You know better than to start worrying NOW. He looked great in preseason LAST YEAR. Right now he also has other players making mistakes, too. He'll improve as they play. He's a gamer. I bet he'll always perform better in games than in practice. Give the kid some time before you start worrying. He's going to make his mistakes and some of them will be doozies. But I believe we'll all agree at the end of the season that he gave us a better chance to win games than Drew. And he'll be better than any of THIS year's rookie QBs, which will further add weight to the "The trade for JP was brilliant" theory, to which I subscribe. Have a beer, Labz.
  10. macnmotion: excellent shots. what's your camera?
  11. JP came off very well. The more I learn about him and hear from him, the more I like him. Considering what SF just paid for another untested rookie QB, I'm feeling REAAAALY good about Tom Donahoe and his staff's work right about now. Count me among the skeptical when we first drafted him, but I believe it's going to prove to be a stroke of genius beyond the McGahee stroke. JP is going to give everything he's got, and he's got a lot.
  12. Good. Deserves it.
  13. preseason primer: http://www.nfl.com/teams/primer/BUF carucci: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/8670431
  14. I likee, but I'm more inclined to say: Pats 11-5 Bills 10-6 Jets 9-7 Fins 8-8 (another crushing by the AFC East on all other foes) Bills will get a wildcard at 10-6. I just don't believe in the Jets. At all. Pats will still be good because they have the best strategist in football, perhaps of all time. He'll find a way to win, just as he always does. Oh, and Brady is pretty special.
  15. Best JP story I've read yet. Gotta like the kid.
  16. maybe if pat had been able to stop the steelers from running all over him he'd still be on the team saying nice things. this means absolutely nothing. he wanted to stay in buffalo AND make 8 million, but he's on the wrong side of 30 for the contract they gave him. Our coaches know more than he does about who's ready and who isn't.
  17. it has been down for a couple days. Don't see any posts about it. I find this strange.

  19. amtrack is a perfect example of how the government runs business.
  20. yep. the car is elevated, one guy is working on the exhaust and the other guy is a short dude working up front. It's already starting to fade for me. The buffalo is coming back into focus. It's also good to see Jack Kemp in town. Damn that guy should have taken the primary. But yes I *really* like the new uniform. It's the socks. Dig those socks.
  21. I glanced at the standing buffalo and had a rorschach experience I guess. I now see two guys working on an old VW Beetle. I'm sorry. As soon as you see it once, that's all you see. I'll work on flushing it from my mind. It won't be easy.
