  1. This is the most ridiculous attempt at a point I've seen since...since...help me out here. A long time. I haven't checked the rest of the thread yet, so I'll go on the hope that this was just poorly executed sarcasm.
  2. Do you want a medal? Are you looking at your right bicep right now? Here: WOW!
  3. You know, this thread and it's knee-jerk beginning should probably be rolled up into the larger thread.
  4. Charges were dropped. For all you know, the woman grossly exaggerated the situation. Nobody likes the fact that Hardy doesn't have the nicest of family arrangements, but what's the point in jumping to conclusions that authorities didn't jump to?
  5. Or maybe it's his father that needs to be kept away from James? That'd be my bet: That his father is the problem, James was using the gun as a deterrent against escalation of whatever kind, and that his father is hell bent on getting rich off of his son. James probably needs some counseling and bigtime support, but I think it's pretty interesting how so many people here are quick to draw their own conclusions about this.
  6. Let the full story out - maybe he's not the problem. Maybe his dad is the problem and maybe the circumstances were dire. Don't label the kid a character bust yet, kripes. I'm sure the Bills will want the full story and they'll get it.
  7. well, no charges, and he does have a license. I wish he hadn't, and I wish he didn't, but let's wait to learn more about this. His dad could be a major d*ck. I just hope the guy doesn't haunt his career...No, this isn't a good way to start your career, and I'm sure the Bills are concerned, but to start wishing for Limas Sweed is premature at best.
  8. Buffalo 66 is such an unusual film - it gets enough 'stars' on that alone, but it's more than that to me. Yea, it's funny, but in a way that makes you consider the complexity of the characters. Often the laughs are a form of pity. You hate the guy, and he's frustrating and pathetic, but you know he's been in pain most of his life and you want to see him smile. And his choices in the end gave me that. It was touching in the strangest way.
  9. But it's a swing and a miss. There's no information in it. It's a useless article. The guy doesn't get it.
  10. Yea that article was useless. I'm constantly amazed by the lack of quality and relevancy of many paid writers, in sports, news, and entertainment. This guy doesn't get the stark economic reality the Bills are in. Buffalo has lost population and jobs at a rate far exceeding national averages. I don't like the idea of the Bills playing games in Toronto, but it's a small, small price to pay in what will be an ongoing effort to help ensure that there is an NFL team in Buffalo.
  11. Otis, this is your ridiculous thread. Go read your first post, slap yourself on both sides of your face, and then maybe you'll realize that it's you that needs a better grip. By the way...what if the entire LEAGUE is a bust? What if nobody can catch a pass this season? What if the Earth's crust shudders with unimaginable force as tectonic plates slip, unleashing lava flows and geysers where there were none before? Oh, and I'll take Hardy over an immature, finger-pointing Sooner with questionable knees and a one-year wonder whose best fit is a WCO.
  12. Dang! We're not under the radar anymore!
  13. Ah, Colin Cowherd. The guy who said that Nick Saban was going to show the rest of the NFL what coaching meant. The next Belichick. The next great NFL coach, who would lead the Dolphins to multiple super bowls. Ah, Colin.
  14. Gosselin is good, but his Bills grade makes NO sense next to his commentary, which is aces. If he going to grade the draft, which is silly enough to begin with, at least reserve ONE sentence that corresponds to the F'in grade. My grade for Gosselin: C
  15. Sports Illustrated commentary on first two rounds http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/...sis/round1.html
  16. I thought this was a joke! 7 QBs... this has to be a record.
  17. Ahhhh.... Now THIS thread is what this site is all about.
  18. Better hide this from the This Draft Sucks Club. But Post-draft grades are silly good or bad. Give 'em a few years.
  19. He won't win any diction contests but the kid is pretty damn electrifying. First time since Clements that we got the consensus top corner in the draft. Can't wait to see him play. Pretty excited about Hardy, too.
  20. As an organization, the Pats have done a better job than everybody else, at finding players that fit their system, coaching them, and winning games. But if you want to compare recent drafts, take a look at their draft last year. Jesus, BB, can you enjoy yourself for TEN MINUTES? FIVE?
  21. Don't pretend that insults are beyond you. You've been insulting every employee of the Bills with your draft pick commentary. And none of it has been backed up by anything intelligent or informed. Ergo, reaction. I'll bet that you'll be riotously cheering at least one draft pick this year that today you have declared a stupid pick. I still remember the day McGee was drafted. So many knee-jerk reactions because nobody had seen his name on an amateur mock. And here we are again, same old story.
  22. Thank you - I really didn't want to have to repeat myself again. I don't know why it's so hard for some fans to renew their hope/enthusiasm every offseason/draft. That's what it's all about. And it's all that we can do.
  23. Are you guys referring to yourselves? Because you're the ones with all the negativity after every pick or about the draft in general. If reacting to over-reacting rubs you the wrong way, try taking a walk after each pick.
  24. Okay, keep moving the target to suit yourself. I'm excited about the Bills draft. You're not. Enjoy!
