  1. Maybe he really is Eugene Parker. (lol) Not sure there's any other possibility, given his posts about this subject.
  2. This is what will most likely happen, from the looks of it. And if there's a soul out there who thinks the Bills have blown it, they can go whine in their bowl if blind stupidity. The Bills have handled this PERFECTLY.
  3. You really are a piece of work. But art? Look, the Bills aren't the problem. If you don't show up for work, and don't call in, what the F right do you have? The NFL is a business, Peters is an employee. Whatever you do for a living....do you think you have the right to not show up for work, fail to call in, and let it be known that you want more money even though they gave you a big raise last year? What Peters and his agentS are doing is insanity. It's a money grab by two ambitious a-holes who want to set a DANGEROUS precedent...and you're on THEIR side?
  4. I've read that Sweed has been a big disappointment. They got so much credit for that pick... draft time punditry is FUGGIN USELESS
  5. I guess the only reason Malcom Kelly would be relevant to Bills fans would be the fact that many amateur Web sites had him pegged as our first round pick, which eventually faded in favor of Devin Thomas...<chortle> As if we needed yet another example, these two guys might serve, once and for all, as a reminder that amateur draft sites know about as much as your neighbor next door, and more importantly, the Buffalo Bills are very good at hiding their actual interests leading up to the event.
  6. I'll believe it when I see it. But if it's true, too bad we won't get to tee off on Cassell.
  7. Doubt it. Walter Jones was already in that offense and was able to pick up where he left off. Peters doesn't have that luxury. Only if we have a big lead in the 2nd half (please, ye gods!) would I expect to see Peters on the field. That is if he even reports this week. I still think he's going to take this sorry stance into the season... I'm sure the Bills will be rightly wary of players that hire Eugene "Gotta Get Mine" Parker
  8. Tripplett was invisible. I don't recall *a* play.
  9. Bryan (#s at DL) or Murphy. They really like Corto. Not surprised by the release of Wright. Looked really good last year, but surprisingly slow and heavy-footed this year, fumbles aside. Glad that D. Bell made the team. Good story, impressive athelete. Could be another Peters in the making. Really surprised that C Bryan and Murphy made the team over Will James.
  10. huh? chamberlain? It'd be Copeland Bryan - numbers on the DL. We'll need Hamdan so we'll have a second guy who has been in the system next year when JP is gone.
  11. Finally, an article about this from the proper angle. I've been amazed by all the stupid "just pay him" posts around here. F Peters - I've lost a lot of respect for this guy. (He could earn it back by kicking some ass. and firing his agent.)
  12. wright looks heavy on his feet to me. Not impressed yet.
  13. He plays like his hair is on fire (sorry)
  14. Man hugs, all around. (If ya want 'em)
  15. Peters is the one Fing around, let's get that part straight.
  16. What did I miss? Don't tell me it's broken...
  17. Ah, good to know! Thanks...I am surprised he's not out there returning kicks and punts. I mean....?
  18. In the last preseason game, on McKelvin's last kickoff return, I thought he came up gimpy, after holding his groin for a second or two. I haven't seen the guy since then, and nothing has been said about him. I hope he's okay..
  19. where did this 'word' come from?
  20. I know it's only preseason, but you can already see it. They say playcalling is an art more than a science. Well, Fairchild painted by numbers, and Turk looks like he gets it. Watching the Fairchild offense was like watching the Sheppard offense. Remember that? You could call the plays before the snap with alarming accuracy.
  21. Jason Peters is disappointing, to say the least. What he's doing is disrespecting the team and the game. You want more money? Show up and do your part first. To not even communicate with the team is unprecedented and ridiculous. F Peters.
  22. The day I take Bob Matthew's opinions on football seriously is the day that I let my daughter have Bratz dolls. That is to say, a cold, cold day in hell.
  23. If anyone had ever questioned the wisdom of ANY general manager for not taking Leinart high in the draft, they were probably basing their judgment on the assumptions born of his celebrity. Leinart is too Hollywood - too interested in "The Life", and I don't mean the football life. He has never looked impressive to me despite having two top ten WRs to throw to. He's also fragile and would probably HATE playing for a cold weather team. Can you imagine Leinart throwing a deep out in 20 degree weather with a stiff cross wind? That one's going the other way....
  24. yet another example of unqualified and LAZY former players who don't put the time in, hired as an "analyst". Faulk has been terrible. Emmit terrible. Is it that the networks and ESPN stupidly believe that guys like this will bring in viewers, or is it the connections and agents they hire to get them gigs, which involves a lot of money changing hands?
  25. Wouldn't Youboty have to clear waivers? If so, there's no way he'd reach the Patriots. He probably wouldn't make it past New Orleans at the latest. But if he doesn't have to clear waivers, then yes, I would put money on him ending up in New England. Belichick has proven year in and year out that he likes our castoffs as role players and info sources (his pickup of jonathan smith was so obviously an info grab it was shameless)
