Without Brady, will Moss turn into his Raider self ?
nodnarb replied to THE GASH STATION's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, he won't. He won't have as good a year, but he'll still have a good year. Moss respects Belichick, and that'll be enough for him to do his job. He (arguably rightfully) had no respect for those at the helm in Oakland and his play reflected it. -
Indeed. The OLine was stellar today, and Chambers should get a game ball for making Kerney invisible all day. And hey...where's Mickey in this thread? Mickey...?

Favre says during presser that Brady has torn ACL

Yea, that's too bad. -
Moorman's QB Rating is perfect! Bench Trent and start Moorman!

You guys are so quick to judge - His % is better than Hasselbecks and we've had 5 or 6 drops that should have been caught, not including Marshawn's on that screen attempt. look at all the factors. And yes, rain does play a role, just as it likely has for the hawks. Has Edwards looked great today? No, but you don't look only to the QB for performance. It's a concert out there and there have been many flat notes by several members.

Wheres the props for the front office now?
nodnarb replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So, you're saying that you KNOW that THEY initiated contact, AND what was communicated back in Feb was the same as what was communicated recently? Wow, you must be an inside guy! Seriously, Mickey. This is like talking to a 13 year old who has his fingers stuck in his ears, yelling NYA NYA NYA NYA over any rational arguments. The most rational being: Professionals report for work, period. -

Wow, you spent a long time on that. You must be REALLY interested in being seen as "right". But you left out many other quotes, strategically. You know, all the ones about how the Bills front office are mishandling this...all the assumptions that the Bills have made no effort to reach out...remember those takes? -

You probably won't hear much from Mickey. -
No way. I'd bet the house. Matt Murphy isn't likely to be picked up by another team. Especially with his injury. Bell would be picked up. Tons of potential in this kid. Think about how long he's been playing football and how impressive he's been to date. His ceiling is way high.

That's the best public piece I've seen written on this subject yet. Peters is destroying his reputation. What a shame, this was a guy that could have been one of the all time Bills greats - he's that talented. But I'd take a 1 and an impact player if he's going to be this much of a distraction. I agree, I think he's done in Buffalo. They can hold his rights until nobody will want to touch him for his time away from the game.

It is time to face the truth: Poz, now Crowell
nodnarb replied to Cornerville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Same old 5% of Bills fans who don't get it. -
It was a chronic thing, Mickey. He had missed several practices and the swelling always came back. Maybe it's worse than he was letting on, maybe not. We don't KNOW much right now with any certainty. But I know that's your comfort zone...

This is a very strange sequence of events. I wonder if there's more to this story...

I was gonna say...what are you talking about? It's a really nice area of the city.

I have the perfect place for you. It's called (sadly) Pizza Orgasmica, but don't let the name fool you. It's in the Richmond area, and it's THE place to go for a Bills fan who finds himself in SF. I was there last year for the Jets game, which I think was Trent's first start. The place has about 8 TVs, all playing NFL games, and one of the guys there is a huge Bills fan and reserves a couch for Bills games. Couch? Yea, the place is a bit different: It's set up like separate little living rooms...end tables, couches, coffee table, etc. Best part is, it's not well known and rarely crowded. I showed up five minutes before kickoff and had the whole Bills nook to myself...that was until this chick and a couple of her friends showed up and started cheering very nervously for the Bills. We got to talking and it turns out this girl was Trent's sister's best friend. She grew up with Trent and couldn't believe she was watching him on national TV - every snap was nerve wracking for her. But she settled down as he started to kick some butt. She had nothing but good things to say about Trent, as you could imagine, and I think she was really happy to hear someone else who was behind him - (she had heard that we had a QB controversy.) anyway, the place has pretty good pizza, too. Check it out, maybe you'll run into Trent's sister's best friend.

Ralph going back to his cheap POS mode

Don't pretend that you're somehow above that sort of thing, Mickey. -
Ralph going back to his cheap POS mode
nodnarb replied to jwws9999's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, now that you have such an informed handle on what's taking place in the Bills' front office, there's no point in arguing... If anything is "same old sh--..." it's this type of "cheap ralph" rant. -
Scout.com says Peters may be back monday
nodnarb replied to Fingon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
here you go, Mickey. I'll simplify it into nice, neat bullets: * The Bills have all the leverage here. Even if they do lose a tackle to injury, JP is about as blind to this offense as a free agent. * The Bills can't set a dangerous precedent by yielding to an employee that fails to report or adequately communicate. (Does that modifier satisfy your need to focus on niggling points?) * I'm not at all worried about not having Peters. I'd prefer to have him, but would we panic if he had been injured with an indefinite return date? That's how the Bills are probably considering it at this point. * If you think I've "painted myself in a corner" on this issue, which is a hollow comment, then I'm fine with that. It's the right corner to be in. * The big money expense for this year is going to be Lee Evans. Gee, do ya think that's playing a role? * Speaking of Lee Evans, he's showing Peters (and you) how a professional goes about this sort of business...and he has MUCH, MUCH more of a right to the "tough lane" of the negotiation highway. Peters deserves no respect in his handling of this. NONE. Professionals show up for work, period. They don't use the silent treatment and hide behind their agent....but I'm sure your "comeback" will be that you get it and I don't. -

Again, you operate out of your own assumptions. Hey everybody! Mickey has an inside line to what's REALLY going on! -
Let's watch them play before assuming that they're worse. Was nothing learned by their 2nd superbowl, which they won with street free agents in the secondary?

You live in another world - a clueless one. Peters has done all of this to himself. The Bills are handling this perfectly. -

Do you have a unibrow? Big underbite? Carry a wooden club? Recently discovered flint? They didn't "Make him one of the lowest paid pro bowlers". They signed him to a long term extension, which he was happy with, and THEN HE MADE THE PROBOWL. What part of this don't you get? Peters is an EMPLOYEE of the Buffalo Bills. He didn't show up for work, didn't call in, and has NO RIGHT to do what he's doing. He has two a-hole agents who want to make a bigger name for themselves, period. Jason Peters should have NOBODY's respect at this moment. is this really so hard for you to grasp, Mickey?
