McGargo to Colts for a draft pick
nodnarb replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a D*ck comment. As if "other teams" get it right all the time. As if "other teams" are never disappointed that some guys turn out to be lazy. Marv deserves respect, even if it's from a-holes who don't deserve any themselves. Yea, I'd like to have gotten more than a 4th round pick, but the guy wasn't able to see the field much, which says enough. -
This is a huge relief; I was NOT looking forward to watching losmanball.
-
All of this is true, and can be written into the Book of Facts.
-
If Trent can't go vs SD, I hope it's Hamdan. JP clearly wasn't prepared, and even if he was, there's still the matter of field vision, pocket presence, and timing... Gah....
-
Like I said, Losmanball: No timing, inferior vision, fumbles. GET RID OF IT! And get well soon, Trent. And how many more turnovers will Royal create this year? Over/Under 7....?
-
just curious - anyone think JP has what it takes to win this game down two scores?
-
With Edwards out, watch how different our offense looks. You'll be quickly reminded what Losmanball looks like. The ball rarely comes out on time, and he still thinks he has the speed to outrun people to the sideline. There will be more open receivers not seen than seen. I just hope Trent is okay...glad we have the bye week next week, that's for sure.
-
did i say this was a stinker? man o man. what a stinkah. peters' holdout SHOULD cost him some money, cuz he's just a body out there today. little is having a career day on him. hopefully it'll motivate.
-
phew...this one's a stinker. Hope they can turn the game in the second half - this is the worst bills football we've seen since last year. that tripping penalty was completely inadvertent. these refs are calling everything and anything. maybe it's just upset week. grrrr
-
amazing how many fans let their "analysis" of players evolve from play to play.
-
did my eyes deceive me or was hardy interfered with? If he wasn't, he should have had that. Maybe the dome lights got in his eyes? That was an awkward looking incompletion

Congrats, Scott! -
By the way, all of those links re-direct to the home page, even though I'm registered. I was able to locate all of them by searching on JJamezz, but then I downloaded them...the raiders video gives me sound and no video and the others won't open - quicktime error. Thus, this thread lives.
-
figured out that i couldn't see 'em cuz i hadn't been activated yet, despite having done the 'click that link in your mail' thing. gonna go watch. beats waiting to hear if our fuggin government can put politics aside for once and prevent a financial apocalypse.
-
http://www.billszone.com/where_are_these_v..._gods_sake.html Seriously: I registered just to see these highlight vids, (I do recall that JJamez does a heckuva job) but I still can't find them. I've been successfully re-routed to the homepage countless times, but the videos remain a mere rumor to me. If any bzone site authors are reading this: it's a little cluttered, fellas.
-
This thread simply does not have enough dead links!
-
Ya got that right. Mort was always quick to prop up the bills when his buddy tommy d was in charge. Ever since TD was very rightly sh*tcanned, mort has been quick to criticize the bills, no matter what the situation. Think there's a link?

Did anyone else notice this? I commented in the game thread that Peters was playing poorly early, but never noticed the temporary swap. I'm sure Peters will be at his best again soon, but that holdout still irks me. Anyway, here's the blurb: Coaching note: After staging his inexplicable pointless summer holdout (he has three years remaining on his contract), Budgies Pro Bowl tackle Jason Peters has lacked focus in his early play. On Sunday, he struggled early against Oakland speed rusher Derrick Burgess. Buffalo coaches took Peters out, but rather than yell at him, had him stand with them and watch as undrafted Kirk Chambers played left tackle and shut Burgess down. That was all the motivation Peters needed to return and perform well in the second half. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...terbrook/080923

**Bills vs. Raiders OFFICIAL Game Thread**

I'm sure this has already been said, but Peters is losing a lot of money with his shoddy play today. He's the worst player on the field today. -
I just don't know where to begin here. That was the best pure football game I've seen us play in years. Del Rio coached a brilliant game and we still won. Folks, this is what enduring teams are made of. There won't be any 2003 early season head fake this year. This team is a legitimate contender. Couple points: If there's anyone out there who still questions Trent, ask yourself if you can really say to yourself that Losman would have had the game Trent just had - making all the right decisions in critical situations - the efficiency, the poise. I'm not pointing this out to criticize Losman because I really like the kid and I'm glad he's a Bill. I'm just saying this because we finally have a franchise quarterback. I believe Trent is the best QB we've had since Kelly, and there's a lot to look forward to here. I think Youboty should get a game ball. He made several critical plays and that guy tackles very well. Looks like his situation really was about a late start followed by the "numbers game" at the position. The guy can really play. If David Garrard had better receivers he'd be really, really dangerous. Thank goodness they've drafted so poorly at that position. Fred Taylor has to be the best "old" running back in the game. Every time I watch him play I still wonder how the past ten years of Bills football might have been different if they hadn't made that boneheaded Jax trade that brought us Rob. Also - we haven't had effective and BALLSY playcalling in a decade. Cheers to Turk - hope they have him locked up long term.

Del Rio is coaching one hell of a game. Really some brilliant stuff going on in this game. Hope we can pull through. -

Okay, I'm impressed now. Guys and gals? I believe this team is different. Finally. -
You can see these clips (not the ITNFL show of course, but these specific clips) on the NFL site. Sort the videos by team - it's in one of them. Just watched it this morning. Schobel had a good day but not when matched up one on one with arguably the league's best (Walter's arms are so long it's ridiculous). On one play he's engaged with him and then gets blindsided by their guard. Just a simple case of "the other guys are good, too."

I agree that we'll learn more about the Bills from this game than we did last week. Bills 27 Jags 17
