  1. Stratton played with Harry Jacobs and the late John Tracy to form one of the most feared linebacking corps in Bills history.
  2. Shaud Williams-Will force a crucial turnover on special teams.
  3. But they will play in Birmingham, AL at Legion Field. No links , just hoping. Only 30 miles down the road.
  4. My mistake. Thanks for checking.
  5. I just checked and the replay is Sunday 9/4 at 12pm Eastern. Of course nobody will skip out of church early so you won't miss the kickoff right?
  6. My favorite college team is Alabama so I have UA tag that has "Bills2" lettering. This way I have the best of both worlds.
  7. I have a nice story about a really classy Bill, Chris Mohr. I was visiting my family in WNY and my Dad and I went to Fredonia to spend the day at training camp. We took a bunch of picures of our Bills in action. When we arrived home a lady my wife worked with commented that her 12 year old son was the biggest Bills fan ever. This poor kid was confined to a wheelchair due to some sort of accident. Chris played for Alabama and this boy was from the Birmingham area so we decided to send the pictures to him to see if he could get them autographed. Within a week I had them all back signed, Kelly, Smith, Thomas, Reed and many others. Taking a few minutes out of his busy day sure made one young man really happy. Jim
  8. Just for the record, this young lady is hardly a "Bimbo". She is an honor student with a full scholarship to The University of Alabama to study medicine. From the angry tone of your post, it looks like you have a bias against people from the South or who may attend church. Stereotyping is stupid. I certainly would not put you in the "Dumb" category because of your last name. Jim
  9. Hard to believe this guy didn't make the list. Does anybody remember "Gilligans" on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga. Nugent played there often.
  10. I'm thrilled that us Alabama Folks didn't finish dead last in something. Things are looking up!!! Jim
  11. I have been out of town for awhile and was wondering if anyone has any current news on Joe.
  12. My number one is the "Miracle On Ice" game but my sentimental favorite play is Don Beebe chasing down the hotdogging Leon Lett in the Super Bowl.
  13. A coworker told me his cousin named her twin boys "Orangejello" and "Lemonjello" . Both are pronounced with the vowels A and O pronounced "On". Still, It doesn't get much worse than this.
  14. Depew, NY, 54, Pell City, Alabama
  15. Glad to hear you like your Odyssey. I work for Honda in Lincoln, AL where we make this vehicle. Heck, I may have put some of the frame parts on yours!!! We are proud of the quality that goes into every Odyssey we build.
  16. That was embarrassing. Yes I blame Drew. He can't beat a good team. Oh excuse me he can't beat good second stringers either. I hope he retires. I hate Drew as a player.
  17. Great gift!! I was in High School from 65-69. The music of the era was one of the highlights of growing up. Jim
  18. Glad Shaud got some carries today. I was thrilled when he signed with the Bills. I told my skeptical Dad back home in Depew, NY that this kid would make the team. He is a team leader also. He was the glue that held an Alabama team in near chaos together his senior year.
  19. I work for Honda in Lincoln, AL. I can't speak for the big three but can tell you that no vehicles (Odyssey or Pilot) leave the plant with bad or defective parts. Heck I work in the weld department and we still check all of our welds with a driver and a hammer. There is no doubt that this is the best way, still I think we are the only manufacturer to use this method. We guarantee the highest percentage of good welds in the industry. Think about it. There is nothing more important in a vehicle than structural integrity. If you think I am proud of the quality that goes out of our door you are correct. Jim
  20. Your perspective, heres mine. Moved to Alabama in 1984 from Depew, NY with a job transfer. Purchased four bedroom ranch home on one acre in the city limits for $37,000 (Current appraised value $100.000) Current year property taxes are $200. Sales tax is 9.5% (on food also) We have full services and they are not lousy. Raised four kids here. All attended public schools. Three are college educated. Toyota, Mercedes, Hyundai, And Honda all built manufacturing plants here since 1990. Honda has gone on record to say the Alabama trainees were the best they have had in North America. No, we are not low paid. I make $23.20 / hr after two years at Honda. Add in friendly folks who always make you feel welcome and a pretty fair climate and this really isn't such a bad place to live.
  21. I'm just making the point that some of their components are non-standard. This is no big deal unless your machine goes down and you can't wait for Dell to get around to repairing it. I build and repair computers and you might be surprise as to how many folks wish to upgrade their cases.
  22. Want to bet? Try any standard P/S in the Dell case. The cutouts are opposite and the Mobo plug wiring is reversed. You will fry your Mobo. Also, take the Dell Mobo and try to hook it up in a standard case.
  23. One thing you need to know about Dell is that they use certain proprietary (Non Standard) components in their machines. If your Power Supply goes out you can't just run down to Radio Shack and buy a replacement plus Dell will not sell you replacement parts, you will have to send the machine back to them.
