  1. I'm not even close to being up to date on draft rankings, but isn't C.J. Spiller considered a top-half of the first-round talent? Could we get him in the second round?
  2. In the words of Jerry Sullivan, they get no benefit of the doubt from me anymore. But I agree. Nix does seem a lot more qualified to run the show than Levy and Brandon. However, I still fear the final say comes from the 90+ year old owner
  3. 12 million?? DOLLARS??????? Um...yeah, where do I sign? Someone got a pen???? ANYBODY HAVE A PEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET ME A F****ING PEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Did you even know who Wade Smith was before last week?
  5. I don't think the two are related. They signed an aging vet to play DT and an aging vet to play QB. Whether or not the rams take Sam Bradford number 1 overall has a lot more to do with how he looks during his pro day then whether or not the Rams could come to terms with Fred Robbins.
  6. The dude is clearly putting the work in, in the gym anyway. However, trying to analyze his progress based on one photo seems a little unrealistic to me.
  7. If anything, signing Feeley makes it more likely they will take a QB.
  8. That would be a nice WR trio. http://twitter.com/RavensInsider RavensInsiderFollowing Follow Lists -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your lists: New England frontrunner to land Anquan Boldin via trade after Ravens pursued him, according to league sources. 2 minutes ago via web
  9. Agreed. And, even though we had a few good picks sprinkled in, it's hard to draft an entire decade's worth of players and not hit on one superstar.
  10. 4 111 Terrence McGee DB Northwestern State-Louisiana
  11. Relax, Mr. blackberry says.. Adam_Schefter Tweeted before and will tweet it again: barring an unexpected breakdown, Julius Peppers deal will be done with Chicago by this afternoon.
  12. The fourth QB is more often than not a camp arm. If this team believes that Fitz, Brohm and Edwards...in whatever order you choose, are a solid three to carry into next year, then the 4th Qb might be some undrafted rookie from Eastern Toenail University. I wouldn't read too much into what they do in free agency.
  13. If we're going to bring in a guy like Bulger, we might as well stick with Edwards.
  14. The guy is a penalty machine, and not because he is aggressive. He makes too many pre-snap penalties. As an athlete, he is a very good left tackle, but I wouldn't give more than a 4th round pick for the guy.
  15. My favorite thing about situations like this is people automatically take it to about 15 levels beyond where it needs to go. Jason Campbell for Whitner. It's not like we're trading a first round pick for the guy or signing him to a long term deal, we're just trading an expendable part of our roster for a guy who fills a need. This doesn't mean Jason Campbell is the QB here for the next 10 years, it just means he is probably better than what we have on our roster right now, and might buy the Bills at least one more year before they have to go draft a QB. If it works out, great...we have our franchise QB. If it doesn't? What did we lose? We traded an overpaid, underperformaning player for a guy who is immediately the best QB on our roster. Make the move.
  16. Is fitzpatrick a free agent?
  17. OK, I get it, you're an Edwards' fan. But you're fighting a losing argument. The statistics and win-loss record favor those of us on the other side of the fence, so you're going to have to bring a whole lot more to the table than "common sense" if you're going to convince people that Edwards should be the QB. Since there is nothing else to bring to the table, I guess we can all expect the same pointless one-liners from you that have no factual backing outside of blind optimism.
  18. Based on.................?
  19. I saw this on youtube, it was the day after the Bills 17-3 loss to New England this year. The caller started making excuses for Edwards, and Howard Simon flipped his lid. Hilarious! Actually, when you hear him go nuts, it's kind of therapeutic. "Every stinkin football season the same stupid stuff"

  21. You can use all of the upper case letters you want....but the number 1 need for the Bills is Qb.
  22. I think we'll play Chicago in Toronto.
  23. No Smart teams know the value in the draft is in 2nd round picks. I'd rather trade Lynch for a 3rd straight up then trade him to move up in the draft to the first round.
  24. I don't think players are cut in February because they don't fit the special teams scheme. Players get cut this time of year because the coach feels they can contribute next to nothing in the offensive or defensive scheme. Special teams decisions aren't usually considered until training camp
