Agree on Spikes, BCL, and do you notice how the conversation has turned somewhat real on the Bills that the "others" are now gone. I too, would keep him because he might come back to form but also because he can provide some leadership that will be missing with LFB gone, also I think that it lessens that need to draft a first or second round LB, Willis is overrated in my opinion. I am intrigued at the notion that we might be able to draft Peterson, but doubt that he would get past the Texans, even if the Browns don't do it. The Texans Fugged it by not getting Bush and they will not repeat the mistake IMO. That will leave us in a real conundrum with that first pick, because Lynch is not worth it there. For that reason I think that this draft will really show what Levy. It won't be an easy choice it AP is gone.

Boondock, you are one of my new favorites. But I still have to ask about our LB's, what to do with Spikes?
-
You have passed the test much like when our young friends from Boston made it through the metal detectors in the courtroom packed with heat, and were able to hold court their style.
-
Thanks Dean, that's about all I was looking for. I am glad that I am not going crazy
-
I hear ya bro, I lived in OP during the Todd Collins era, yeah that sucked. I know that we can only speculate on the draft for so long, but I also think that there is enought to talk about that we don't need to throw it into the schhhhiitter so soon.
-
Bug, there aren't marriage here. I'm not into that and by the way you did start the hot cheerleader thread, c'mon bro you can bring so much more than that.
-
High Motor, you have reinforced my point in that I wouldn't have to start one in the past to get one. But here we go anyway: The Bills are going to have on the toughest schedules next year in the entire league, with no star RB on the roster, holes in the LB's, questions at the CB's that include who the heck is going to start, what are the keys to remaining FA and who is the most critical 1st round pick that we must take? I am not talking about giving me your full mock, give me your most critical, what position must be filled? There you go, let's talk

Nawww, bug don't get me wrong, the bro started 5 polls about "the greatest" in about 2 minutes last night. I am west coast and saw it earlier than most closer to OP. Don't get me wrong, I love most the folks here and think that the oldies show up and talk some decent smack on the Bills. Times have changed though, and I am commenting on reverting to old form that had a little more posts on stuff that has some substance
-
Boondock, great flick first of all. My point is that 2 years before you showed up this board was all about the Bills and their fans talking to each other. It seems that things have slipped, dudes are trashing each other. My call out to Goo is starting five pointless polls at the same time??? Things around here used to be a lot more pure about football fans than it seems they are now.
-
Bug, please explain
-
you know I don't have the most posts here, but I do check for news and updates every day over the past three years. What has happened to this board? Three years ago it was filled with really good conversation on the Bills, people talking with respect for each other, and questions being answered by real and smart fans. It seems now that the jr. high kids have taken over. Who the hell is Goo? We now have people talking smack to each other that are supposedly on the same team, and I am not talking about trolls. I miss the old days of the Stevestojan filter, LA Billz laying it down, LSI, Clumping, and DIBS holding down the fort. Is there any way that we can kick out everyone that wasn't born before 1994?

espn2 report: cowboys looking to move julius jones
nemhoff replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is so true, and it will never stop being that way until we win games, make the playoffs. We are the Bungles of yesterday. -
I would also add to my post that I think that 5 years and 25 Million are too much for him, even in this new day of big FA spending. I just think that his loss will hurt the most on our defense
-
I know that he was on "the wrong side of 30" but I also think that this team will miss the leadership and consistency of London. He was our defensive QB and was the heart and soul of that unit. Those qualities are not easily replaced, especially by a rook. In all of our Oline additions, I think this will be the greatest subtraction, more so than Clements.
-
I do not understand why Detroit needs another RB. I think that the one they have (Green? The dude from Va Tech) is fine for their system. Millen is a moron, can you imagine if he were our GM and he wasn't fired 2-3 years ago. This place would be going nuts.
-
Agreed, but is he willing to pay a couple of key contracts out in free agency to maintain the growth that we have seen in this team, or are we going to go with more rookies and free agent cast-offs

Just a quick heads up, Marv tried to get the guy as he was in the process of interviewing with the Saints. At least we tried and he went with a different team, can't blame the Bills for not trying.
-
That was what I was thinking, but would also like to hear about his technique and game-play from the resident experts here

Is Pennington the RT of the future for the Buffalo Bills? I didn't spend as much time watching him towards the end of the season, but all I remember when he got into the lineup was that we are running left all the time because of the weak right side. Should he be penciled in on the line next year? Or was he a stop-gap until we could more ably replace him? Could one or two of you Oline watchers give insight

Which team had the most disappointing season?
nemhoff replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would put the Jags on that list before Indy or Denver -
Anyone just see that WVU play?
nemhoff replied to BuffaloBilliever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was a great play, great creativity, and funny to watch the center fall down and stay down til well past the TD -
I apologize as this has been covered ad naseum. Chiefs win tonight and that helps the Bills. Good. Now, assuming a Bills win, are the following outcomes correct and which is the most important. Denver over Cincy Pats over Jags Dullfins over Jests Correct??

The Cuse The Sabres NFL: The Eagles, like McNabb and Reid The Saints, how can you not route for that team this year. It was nice to hear that Marv put a call in to Sean Peyton to see about Buffalo. I had not heard that. Man would I love to see that guy in OP.
