I am amazed and to be quite honest, a little disappointed, that nobody has thought to register the name Ron Mexico yet. HOW HAS RON MEXICO NOT RESPONDED TO THESE ACCUSATIONS!!!
I played in a slow pitch league for a couple years before I left Buffalo. Everytime one of those guys came up to bat with their $300 bat, batting gloves, offical MLB pants and sports goggles on, we would laugh our asses off.
This thread has been around before no doubt. But new folks sign up all the time. The funny thing is that NOBODY has ever admitted to leaving the game even though half of the stadium left after the second quarter.
I'm not sure what the FBI is looking for but I can guarantee that when the doc opened his windows this morning he was immediately looking for a change of underpants.
LOL! Does anybody else realize that it is a TV show and not real? Why does a stealth fighter have air to air capabilities? Because its on TV. Maybe we should we have Jack Bauer working in an office trying to locate terrorist cells and taking long lunch breaks with Tony. Now that would make some realistic must see TV!!
Amateur football sucks period. A prime example of this is the XFL. It could not have been marketed any better than it was. Pure genious. They hit their target market square on the head. The fact of the matter is the product on the field was subpar and it shows. People don't want to watch garbage ball.
........CJPearl2 reports the same information that was dicussed at length in a previous thread this morning only it was a different snooze writer.
Is anyone else sick of "Duplicate threads and folks not using the search button....." followed by the poster then stating they don't have time to read all the old threads??
just wondering....

True but its still technically the same thing. NFL still had an ownership stake in the beginning. They just took over the whole thing after a couple of years later as it was about to go belly up and moved everything to Europe. People in the States just don't care about amateur-pro football. People in Europe don't either but thats another arguement.
They did have teams here when they first started up the league, they were called the World League back then. Failed miderably.
US Teams:
Birmingham Fire
New York/New Jersey Knights
Ohio Glory [Columbus]
Orlando Thunder
Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks
Sacramento Surge
San Antonio Riders
Canada:
Montreal Machine
Europe:
Barcelona Dragons
Frankfurt Galaxy
London Monarchs
