My fear is that Marv, in his first major move as GM, blew any of the "TD and his Steeler connection" stuff out of the water with this buddy hook up.

Marv just wanted somebody he could talk to on his level.

I am trying to be optomistic but I guess I just question if we got the best guy for the job. Either way, I will give the guy a chance and am excited for the change. Go Bills!

Funny thing is last time around it was reported that Ralph like Jauron, and TD like Mularkey. TD ended up talking Ralph into hiring Mularkey. Now this. GO WITH YOUR GUT RALPH!!!!! Connect the dots....Marv like Dick because they are buddies from Chicago, TD liked Mularkey cause they were buddies from Pittsburgh. CAN WE PLEASE GET AWAY FROM THE BUDDY NETWORK and just hire the best guy for the job. EDIT: My bad. I did not realize that the catalyst for the rumor was WGR. With all that has happened to this organization over the past couple of weeks, they had better be darn sure that their source is 100% correct or this is just some seriously careless reporting.

I'm no expert in the field but if some dude you don't know starts chattin it up next to you, I think the rules of engagement allow you to have a free look see over the wall to see who the hell you're dealing with.
