  1. Good on Ellison returning I was really liking the way he was playing before he got injured. Yeah he's a bit light but he seemed like a damn good tackler with good football instincts for a rookie.
  2. Nate is almost a dead ringer for xzibit, and that dick jauron/40 year old virgin thing just doesn't get old.
  3. Good on Losman. That's smart quaterbacking. Look to pass first/second/third look to run last.
  4. She Can't be any worse then Chris Villarrial Can she?
  5. How as a parent do you let your child be 5'9 310lbs. http://goofyblog.net/wp-content/uploads/20...lly_mangold.jpg
  6. Yeah and with art shell actually with a hc job I wonder who will fill that void of the curtesy interview.
  7. http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9822843 If true smart move by the cardnials. Now Green can fade into obscurity, Living off his reputation of riding the Moss/Carter years.
  8. That's just not true. If thats the case Eric Moulds must've been the best wr in the nfl. Price's 1st year in atlanta he led the falcons in receiving yards with 838. Alge crumpler their 2nd leading receiver with 552. The fact is prices skills were still good enough when he went to atlanta. Vick just wasn't getting the job done passing the football per usual. As far as the best qb's in the league having great receivers McNabbs receivers are who? He was great with Owens for a year before that he had the likes of Guys like Todd Pinkston James Thrash freddie Mitchell and that was before he had brian westbrook and lj smith to catch passes as well. Still he put up better #'s then Vick will ever see. I compared it to McNabb cause I wanted to use another qb who was a mobile qb and could do damage running the football. I could've also mentioned Trent Green who throws to just a te and Eddie F'n Kennison and has had back to back to back 4000 yard seasons, or Drew Brees whos main weapons have been a late round rookie wr and devery henderson.
  9. The chargers can be run on. Yeah they're 7th in yardage against the run howver they're 18th in ypa allowed and 18th in rushing tds allowed. The 7th in yardage more or less reflects the fact they're 2nd in rushing attempts faced while 19th in passing attempts faced. Our best bet is to run and run often mixed in with play action passes and getting the tes involved.
  10. Only if he convinces his mother to bet her house so he can at least break even
  11. Del Rio does come off a bit smug that he can do no wrong. He's underachieved with a pretty talented team.
  12. Well to help unboggle your mind. Attendance for Buffalo's blacked-out game Sunday against Jacksonville was 63,608. That was a larger crowd than Miami at Detroit and Tampa Bay at Dallas on Thanksgiving Day, Arizona at Minnesota Sunday afternoon and Philadelphia at Indianapolis Sunday night. It seems particularly unfair to have games blacked out in Buffalo but not in Dallas, a major market with a smaller stadium.
  13. #1 receiver probably not but at the time the falcons accquired price at worst he was a very good #2, and lelie is also a former 1000 yard receiver and is a guy that on paper plays into vicks "Strength" as a deep ball passer. Im not big on comparisons but theres plenty of qbs around the league with less skill position talent then vick has who put up better #'s. For a #1 overall pick I dont think it's a stretch to say he's a dissapointment. At some point you have to put behind that he's a tremendous athlete. When the overall production just isn't there.
  14. The falcons have spent 1st rd picks on Peerless Price, Roddy White, Michael Jenkins. Traded for Ashley Lelie, but it's still everyone elses fault except vick when it comes to the falcons passing game. A Career 53% passer a career rating of of 75 whos rating has gotten worse each of the last 3 years. His season high in qb rating for his career is 81.6 back in 2002. He currently sits at 72.1. Is sacked once every 10 drop backs. Hell of an athlete a very lousy quaterback.
  15. Im not a gm or anything but generally I think you would prefer to have players on your team who play harder when they're being pushed by someone else. The last thing I would want to see is players being content cause they dont have compeition. Being pushed by compeitition is never a bad thing.
  16. To Willis. He showed tremendous heart and character playing thru broken ribs. Looking foward to seeing what he does the rest of the year with improved line play
  17. a lot of boards go overboard with graphics an images. It becomes a pain in the ass I prefer it simple myself
  18. Im just interested to see what McGahee can do with the new oline lineup the next few weeks. Obviously hes still injured but he showed a lot of stuff he just never got an opportunity to do last year or early this year. When was the last time he actually had a chance to cut back across the field and get a chance to outrun everyone to the endzone. His first td was probably more impressive with nifty running, and his blitz pickup lately has been quite good. There are only 2-4 rbs who can literally carry a team, but willis can be plenty good in his own right and with losman and the oline improving he'll get the opportunity to prove it.
  19. Daquix would undoubtedly be the happiest bills fan if Nate re-signs. The way he's played lately The past few weeks I really dont remember him playing any better.
  20. They didn't look like they were clicking yesterday and needed an extremely lucky call to even remain in the game. The Chargers are a very good team, but marty is bound to coach up a few stinkers. Not saying we can pull the upset, but it's not out of the question.
  21. Jacksonville had the 3rd ranked defense in the league houston the 27th. Losman played respectable most of the game and was money in the clutch for the 2nd week in a row. All you could really ask. I dont care if he throws for 300 yards or 160 as long as we win football games.
  22. If hes still playing at his current level next season fine, right now Id say no
  23. M. Vick 9-24, 84. Yup he did his part . They'd be better off with Schaub. Not saying Schaub is a good qb, but Im sure he could throw 9/24 all the same without the glorified hype.
  24. I think he's getting accustomed to the scheme and he's been playing well since he's gotten more time. I like the way he plays. He has a lot of enthusiasm and hes fairly quick. I think it will turn out to be a good trade for us. Especially for giving up a 5th rd pick.
  25. I like the royal blue on blue the away unis are complete different story
