  1. Bad decision by losman to throw that should've just thrown it away
  2. LETS GO BUFFALO
  3. That turned out to be quite the measuring stick.
  4. Triplett has played great as of late Tim Anderson on the other hand
  5. Today? A little slow there eh?
  6. Glad to have ellison back I love the way he plays
  7. IT IS? That's why our run defense was so awesome last year... oh wait
  8. The cb market is pretty bad this year outside of clements and asante samuel and I cant see the pats letting samuel go unless of course they sign clements.
  9. Its great to have the same coach for a few seasons. Familiarity with a system. An all world te and an offense that can move the ball in the redzone, where the majority of rushing td's come from. We have to be pretty close to the bottom of the league in redzone opportunities.
  10. I sure as hell hope not. That means SD is scoring at an alarming rate. We wont stand a chance in a shootout. Id prefer it be about terrence mcgee and good kicking/kick coverage/fg's/punting/punting/punt coverage/punt returns.
  11. Until you realize LT is the chargers 2nd leading receiver with 48 receptions behind gates 50
  12. It's pretty sad when a team with the best player in the leauge is 21st in attendance. But you say "LT Isn't the best Peyton is" Well the colts are there sitting at dead last in league attendance. The Best team in the nfc sitting at 29th. Goes to show you not all is doomed
  13. Snow in paticular tends to favor wr's over db's as it's much easier to run foward on a snowy surface then it is to change direction and speeds backpeddling. A Snow game is a perfect time to air it out. Rain and Wind Is a better time to run the ball. As far as bad weather generally meaning low scoring thats somewhat true although It could turn into another dolphins/bills game circa 2002. P.S: Almost forgot the biggest question that you mention special teams if it's a snow game Will Roscoe Parrish take the field?
  14. Garrison Hearst was the best rb owens has played with. For comparison sake heres hearsts stats with the niners. | 1997 sfo | 13 | 234 1019 4.4 4 | 21 194 9.2 2 | | 1998 sfo | 16 | 310 1570 5.1 7 | 39 535 13.7 2 | | 2001 sfo | 16 | 252 1206 4.8 4 | 41 347 8.5 1 | | 2002 sfo | 16 | 215 972 4.5 8 | 48 317 6.6 1 | | 2003 sfo | 12 | 178 768 4.3 3 | 25 211 8.4 1 |
  15. When Yards= points let me know. Right now we're sitting at 13th in the league in scoring defense, which isn't bad. I have no real playoff illusions. We lack playmakers on offense and defense. Believe it or not as bad as our run defense has been theres still 6 other teams with worse run defenses.
  16. A lot of people rag on Kearse but he's still a pretty good pass rusher in his own right, and not too shabby backing off into coverage. Not all that good against the run, but The Freak still has game. Personally I would've put Simeon Rice on this list but Kearse is good in his own right to warrant discussion. Very good is an understatement. Abraham may be the best pure pass rusher in the league. He's also pretty good against the run. The only thing that's stoping him from being a top 2 de is his unwillingness to play unless he can go 100%. Not that he wasn't legit injured, but even during his time with the jets in 04 he refused to play until he felt at his best and I believe even missed the jets playoff games when he could've played. Still an impact type player though
  17. This was pretty much my point
  18. Canadians are just weird people. Milk in a bag it's just not right
  19. Randy Moss's game is vertical stretch and jump ball. He's a lazy route runner and too soft to go over the middle of the field. He's also disenfranchised with the raiders. On the right team Moss could still be a factor but he's not as fast as he used to be. Chris Chambers does have a great vertical jump and good hands. Being wasted in Miami? I could buy it. One of the best pure wrs in the game? No he's not. He's on pace for a 64 catch season which is above his average of 59 catches a season. His yardage output is lower then that of Marty Booker and Wes Welker. So Either Chambers isnt as good as advertised or Marty Booker is a premiere wr.
  20. That's a tired excuse. Stud wr's still put up yards, regardless of the lack of a profiecent qb. Jay Fiedler might not have been a franchise qb, but at least there was consistency with the position for the most part. Fiedlers worst season as a starter is about equal to what JP has produced so far, and yet evans who is a somewhat compareable receiver will probably reach about 1200 yards which would better chambers career best of 1118. I dont see the guy as a premiere wr. He's good but I wouldnt rank him with the games best.
  21. I dont live there so I cant pretend to know the situation of why tickets dont sell, but I will say that when the final attendance figures for the league come out after the season Buffalo will still have higher attendance rates then a good portion of teams. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/attendance Those are the figures from 01-06.
  22. Chris Chambers is just as much of a "stud" as Jerry Porter. He's a good receiver but I wouldnt trade a high pick for him.1 1000 yard year in 6 years which he didnt achieve until his 5th in the league.Someone who normally only averages 870 yards a season can hardly be considered a "Stud".
  23. So we hate aaron schobel now? I really dont see anything wrong with what he said. He's probably right. If you dont have confidence in yourself you shouldnt be doing whatever your job is that you're doing. If you're in a job looking to make a name for yourself odds are you wont say "I think Joe Blow is better" No you'll talk yourself up by what you've accomplished. Although I'd sy Fletcher is more underrated then Schobel.
  24. Funny because Thats the exact system the vikings play just sayin
  25. Didnt one of their players I believe Terrence Kiel get arrested for hustling crack cocaine?
