  1. Figures the jets would be losing to a Lemon
  2. I like Travis Henry always have, but some people are too much. People quickly forget the reason he was let go to begin with. Henry started the 04 season, got injured, Willis made his debut against miami ran for 100 yards, Henry got his job back in the baltimore game was benched at halftime and willis took over from there. Henry had 5 games that year to prove his worth and had he performed better would probably not have been traded. The simple fact is travis henry did not produce his last season here and willis flat out won the job. Travis Henry is a good rb, who now has the benefit of teams spying vince young which opens up a lot of running lanes, but because travis "Ran hard" against the bills isn't reason enough for me to say "well we should've kept him".I'll kind of compare it to jets fans saying your team should've kept lamont jordan over curtis martin. Granted Martin was older but yeah. I wish Travis the best for the rest of his career, but as much donahoe "slapped him in the face" Travis flat out quit on this team. Too bad cause Henry/McGahee could've been one hell of a combo.
  3. Just waking up preparing for the long ride To see Buffalo kick some flaming thumbtack hide Sittin back having a hot cup of joe It's Almost time to go So I leave with this one final comment.... LETS GO BUFF-A-LO
  4. Play to win the game Herm
  5. I like Chris Henry. The only issue with him is if you can keep him motivated on and off the field. He's extremelly talented. Henry has the ability to be an all pro wr. The question is can someone get him to play up to his potential while keeping him out of trouble. I'm not very high on kelley washington.
  6. Outkast- Bombs over Baghdad
  7. and eddie robinson yes that eddie robinson was an oilers lb. Gregg Williams was also an assistant oilers coach
  8. Yes they are. Some of them look ok if you have 1. 2 is probably pushing it, but there are people who decorate their entire yards with those things. It just looks really bad. With that said it doesn't give people the right to vandalize someone else's property those decorations are by no means inexpensive.
  9. That is something I will look foward to. I think cieslak could be a good hback type maybe not as good as like a chris cooley but he seems to have decent hands. Honestly haven't seen him play much but he looks good the times I have seen him. On a different note. Not that I would be affected by the blackout anyway cause of where I live, but I will be going to my first bills game this week curtesy of a christmas present from the family. It's about 7 hours from where I live so we better friggen win.
  10. I think tcali is taking it to an extreme. It's not a great dline and definitely could use improvements. Paticularly at lde and at dt. Triplett is a good player and I think in the future Kyle Williams and McCargo will both be good, but it could use another body better then that of tim anderson to the rotation. The big Ted Washington/Pat Williams esque run stopper that everyone clamors for won't happen. I think while the dline could served to be upgraded I more so think we need lb's. A lot of the reason cover 2 gets beat with a ground game is not size it's simple tackling which falls a lot on the lb core. A Healthy Takeo Spikes and getting ellison more experience will definitely help.
  11. Cover 2 defenses are notoriously known to be vunerable against the run. Now granted we don't have all the pieces to the defense yet. A solid draft and re-signing clements will help. In those last 4 games opposing offenses have gone 16-56 against us on 3rd down and ar only averaging 15.2pts per game. Obviously our defense is doing something right. In that same frame we have forced 6 fumbles (not counting the offensive caused fumbles on ints in the jax or sd game) and 4 interceptions. Another solid draft and some minor tweaks here and there we'll be fielding a damn good defense in no time.
  12. Clements and Mcallister have pretty similiar career numbers in some areas. Clements blows him away in others. I wish I could focus solely on cb I'd love to get more in depth then simply looking at career stats, and TV doesn't offer the option to watch them from snap to finish of play with the camera angles. So like most I have to rely simply on what I see. Chirs Mcalister 8 years- 386 tackles 346 solo 40 assisted. 21 career ints for 427 return yards 20.3 yards per return long of 98 4 tds. 97 passes defensed and 1 forced fumble. 0 sacks Nate Clements 6 years- 425 tackles 336 solo 89 assisted. 23 career ints for 341 yards 14.8 per int return long of 58 for 5 tds. 59 passes defenses 13 career forced fumbles 10 in the last 3 years. 2 this season. 1.5 career sacks. Clements imho has done more with less around him. If he was consistently on a defense like the ravens over the years. I don't think it would be a stretch to say Clements #'s would be out of this world for a cb. I believe clements has more forced fumbles then any corner in the league and has been absolutly lockdown for most of this year. Paticularly the 2nd half of the season. Although I think he was playing good in the 1st half but not getting noticed. To sound cautiously optomistic I hope not making the pro bowl lowers his price his free agency making him slightly cheaper to keep around. At only 27 years old next year and building for the future in the prime of his career those are the kind of players you keep around to win championships.
  13. The pro bowl is nothing more then a popularity contest. Who have you heard about lately, who's made it before, who's the hot rookie of the moment. It's stupid but it's just how it is.
  14. You can pretty much fit stats to fit any argument. Willis vs Travis common opponents 2006 Travis vs jets/dolphins Jets- 9 22 2.4ypc- 2 TDS Mia- 21 60 2.8 ypc- 0 tds Travis vs Jax 19 67 3.5ypc 0 tds 12 37 3ypc- 0 tds Total of travis vs common opponents- 61 carries 186 yards 3ypc 2 tds Willis vs jets/dolphins Jets- 26 150 5.7ypc 0 tds Jets2- 16 125 7.8 YPC 1 td Mia- 25-91 3.6ypc 0 tds Mia2- 28- 79 2.8ypc 0 tds Willis vs Jax 12-63 5.2ypc 2 tds Total of Willis vs common henry opponents- 107 carries 508 yards 4.7ypc 3 tds This probably doesn't prove much of anything but I figured it's just as good of a comparison as any other. Had Willis played in the houston or indy game there would be more of a valid comparison vs common opponents. Personally I like both of them, but give me a healthy mcgahee over henry. I just think he has more to offer.
  15. get that cowbell sh-- out of here it's a jinx
  16. Guess So Freeney 3 sacks 3 forced fumbles
  17. Well the beginning of the 4th quater was a bit premature to assume indy had it locked up. But yeah I think now it's safe enough
  18. Cmon Fins JUST END THEIR SEASON Lets go Pats GO CINCY VS DENVER Go KC vs Oakland and most importantly LETS GO BUFFALO
  19. LETS NOT JUMP THE GUN HERE.... It's only the 4th quater and indy still has a sh------- defense. And Cincy is a high powered offensive team.
  20. Well feel better in the fact we swept them and knocked them out of the playoff picture now we just need them to knock out the jets. Think of it not rooting for miami but against the jets in the interest of the Bills
  21. Cmon indy put this game on ice
  22. yes I didnt appreciate having to be exposed to that again
  23. Well hopefully the bengals get rooted tonight
  24. Do we have to be subjected to that again? I mean cmon
