Latin women Gods gift to Man

I like Marshawn Lynch a lot and think he's gonna be a good back but initially he wont, unless he's used primarily as a 3rd down back, or falls later in the draft to a team with other talent around him he'll suffeer mostly because of his running style. He runs far too to upright which will cause problems at the next level.

Adam Schefter has to be gloating about breaking this story awhile back which the raiders pr machine promptly responded to call him a lying rumor monger. -
Way to take a small example to prove a often misguided theory people have that "you can find rb's everywhere". Basicaly to repost something I posted awhile ago. Now granted some of these were free agent acquisitions but the main point is still rather glaring of rb's and where they were drafted. I'll give you the skim notes version. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...mp;#entry839226 AFC East- AFC East Total- 3 1st rd picks, 2 2nd rd picks, 1 3rd 1 4th AFC West Total- 2 1st rd picks, 2 2nd rd picks AFC North total- 1 1st rd, 1 3rd rd, 1 4th, rd 1 UDFA AFC South Totals- 2 1st rd picks, 3 2nd rd picks, and 6th rd pick. AFC South Totals- 2 1st rd picks, 3 2nd rd picks, and 6th rd pick. AFC TOTALS- 8 1st rd . 7 2nd rd . 2 3rd rd . 2 4th rd . 1 6th rd 1 udfa. 17 1ST DAY Rbs. 2 4th rounders and only 2 late picks. NFC EAST TOTAL- 3 2nd rd picks, 1 3rd rd NFC WEST TOTAL- 3 1st rd picks, 1 3rd rd NFC SOUTH TOTAL- 5 1ST rd picks, 1 2nd, 1 3rd NFC North Total- 3 1st picks, 1 3rd, 1 6th NFC TOTALS- 10 1st rd picks, 4 2nd rd picks, 3 3rd rd picks, 1 6th rd pick. NFL TOTALS- 19 1ST RD PICKS, 11 2ND RD PICKS, 5 3RD RD, 2 4th rd, 2 6th rd, 1 udfa Once again When drafting rb's odds are you'll be drafting one in the 1st or second round. Which is fine cause that is how I believe your team should be built, however as the bills stand right now I just don't think we can afford the risk of a 1st day rb when there are much bigger holes on the team. A Year from now sure. This year? Pass.

St. Louis Radiots on Fletcher
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jacksons got game but Id take those 2 you mentioned and Shaun Alexander over him. One down year doesnt discredit this guy who had 98 tds rush/rec his first 5 years a starter. With 4 tds in his last 3 game he sure doesn't look like he's fallen off. Jackson/Gore are definitely right on that next level though. -
In the 2011 draft the Bills take...
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to SACTOBILLSFAN's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The story I partially remember about devine not to be taken as 100% accurate is that Deion took him under his wing in order to keep devine out of trouble and focused on academics and his football potential and off the streets and out of trouble. I wouldn't consider that a drawback at all. If anything its a positive. -
Should the Bills go after Mularkey?
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to genomich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With Bledsoe as his starting qb. Parcells<< Mularkey -
God no. Tj Duckett is a one dimensional rb and probably slower then anthony thomas.

I for one am not overly suprised ladell betts had a good year. Al Saunders offenses have done nothing but produce good rb numbers. That's not to take anything away from LJ or Priest holmes but even derrick blaylock produced well in limited opportunity before LJ took over. I also wouldnt be suprised if portis got cut. Betts fits the mold of the type of rb al saunders prefers as he's a better receiving back then portis is.

Bufalo selects QB in mock draft
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to Gasjuggler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't worry about it. For one there's no way we'll be picking a qb. Second Jamarcus Russell will be long gone when we pick. 6'5 250lbs and a rocket arm. Don't be shocked when he establishes himself as the #1 qb in the draft. -
Our oline is bad outside of jason peters. Honestly it's not enough games yet to judge pennington at rt, but the inside is horribly weak. While watching the ravens game I have never seen guards get continually blown off the ball and knocked on their ass 5 yards backwards like Mike Gandy and Duke Preston managed to do. There's also a reason we rarely ever try running up the middle or qb sneaks on 3rd and short. Melvin Fowler and above mentioned guards do not get any kind of push. For all the progress Losman has made and yes he has made progress, we were still 29th in offensive yardage, 23rd in points scored, 25th in passing and 27th in rushing. More of this can be attributed to inadequate line play then skill position players.

Its Starting! Draft posturing...

to Brandon: The drafting of DB's
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to SoCal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactaly re-signing these db's when they reach their potential would enable the team to draft other positions to fill out the roster in other crucial areas rather then consistently wasting high picks on the secondary. For as often as they drafted db's if you re-signed some of them you'd be able to get linemen, lb's, dt's, de's etc etc etc. Probably resulting in a better winning pct then we have had. -
They would've thrown out the red carpet for the landing.

Hopefully the bills front office doesn't think like some fans and actually like players who make plays
-
Jarrett comes off as a punk cause he's the 2nd best receiver in the country, and plays with a swagger. He Will be a top 15 pick and would look real good across from evans. I'd love the guy here to help improve our 25th ranked passing offense. Yeah we need offensive and defensive linemen we also need playmakers.

What do the Bills look for

Calvin Johnson will be a top 3 pick. He's an absolute beast. -

MartyBall4Buffalo replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes to Jarrett. Indifferent to puz would prefer Buster Davis or Patrick Willis. Hell no to ginn Jr. Ginn is not a good route runner in the least. Not willing to block. All Ginn has going for him is his straight line speed. He's not better then his teammate Anthony Gonzalez He has added benefit as a return man, but he's not a polished receiver by any means. He will however be the 3rd receiver taken because of his uncanny speed. No way I'd draft him at 12 though. -
Who Wins the Super Bowl....
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bolts over Hawks 35-13 You could pretty much fill in any scrub team in the nfc. Without tommie harris I don't like the bears, the giants lost their way into the playoffs, the eagles are starting jeff garcia or is it touchy feeley? Romo looks like he's been figured out and the dallas defense is really bad. New Orleans is a nice story, but I think their inexperience will hurt them. In the long run they're set up nice. I'm going with seattle because for the first time all season alexander and hasselbeck appear to be healthy. I think they're the best coached nfc playoff team, with a lot of talent that is just beginning to click. Yes I do think they'll win 2 games on the road to get there. The afc imo is a 3 horse race between sd/balt/ne. I'm going with Marty to get over the hump this year. Their offense is far more talented then the ravens or pats, and their defense is probably just as good. Rivers will do just enough to win. -

YOU'RE ON THE CLOCK!
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they'll take Calvin Johnson. Al Davis Flash over substance and with the possibility of losing moss and porter this offseason they'll be short on wr's. I also don't think they want to give up on the Strong Armed Andrew Waler yet either. When thinking of Calvin Johnson Think Andre Johnson with more talent. -
Will Grossman get benched in the playoffs?
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to d_wag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I liken it almost to the denver situation. Although a little different. You have a vet qb in griese who's good enough to win some games, but he can't be a difference maker, maybe if the bears still had tommie harris and the bears defense was playing at the level they were earlier in the year, but at this point The bears should stick with grossman who is still learning on the job. This is only his full 1st year starting. He's a talented guy who makes some mistakes and doesnt have good offensive talent around him, but his upside is much bigger then grieses.
