  1. still not gonna hold my breath but this would be a pretty good signing
  2. Id be estatic with a left side of peters-dockery. Dockery is a monster run blocker and would instatly give us a formidable left side of the line.
  3. No offense, because I think you're one of the better posters on here, but the offense would have to take one huge step up from the sh-- they've produced lately bottom half in every statistical catagory the past few seaso passing and rushing and points scored, redzone offense, plays over 40 yards I believe we were 31st in the catagory behind only oakland. As far as Kelsay and Denney go. They're a nice 1-2 rotational duo. However I'd expect a little bit more then 29 career sacks and 10 years worth of nfl experience between them to offset the loss of again someone who is arguably a top 5 corner. Ryan Denney will be 30 in June expecting him to improve much beyond what he's produced thus far is questionable. I think the biggest asset denney gives is his size. Kelsay meanwhile has improved every season so far, but no one will mistake him for any of the pass rushers of other cover 2 teams, and as much as you and some of the other posters may like the trio the only legit pass rushing threat remains schobel. No one fears kelsay/denney the way they probably do robert mathis, or alex brown/mark anderson. Adding a legit pass rusher should definitely not be overlooked just because we re-signed kelsay, and neither should it be over looked the talent we're losing in Nate.
  4. well whatever makes you feel better knowing we're losing a top 5 corner and having mcgee as our #1 corner
  5. Honestly I really liked Kevin Jones when he was drafted, and had a good rookie season and has been victim to injuries the past 2 years, and is a good receiving back. Had 61 receptions before getting injured and when he's on he runs hard and has real good speed. I remember hearing some fuss that he doesn't really get along with Roy Williams. I dont know if he could be had in a trade. I wouldn't mistake tatum bell for an everydown back but if he could that's someone I wouldn't mind seeing with the bills at all.
  6. And he didnt even coach tackles last season, mcnally has been a real dissapointment. Then again it's not like the front office has made a real effort to bolster the talent of the oline trying to rely on late round picks and pure luck. Seriously how many teams have a udfa as their franchise left tackle and a 7th rd pick at rt?
  7. Highly doubtful he'll be starting
  8. experienced depth never hurt no one.
  9. geez this thread is depressing he hasn't even signed anywhere yet chill out.
  10. You called in sick to work because you're pumped up about the possible re-signing of a career nickel back?
  11. If by great he means sucks then yeah I think that's what he meant
  12. This is gonna be an interesting offseason. Instead of looking like we should be taking a step foward the bills seem to be choping players who can still play. Clements,Fletcher, Willis,Spikes. Anyone care to explain how this helps us take the next step?
  13. Well they ranked 10th this year in passing yardage and in 2005 they ranked 1st. While Leinart might've been the 24th statisticaly ranked qb overall their passing game was much more productive then ours
  14. Probably a lot to do with at the time he also led the league with 99 carries and was on pace for well over 400 carries in the season. Very few rb's can maintain that pace and will be more prone to injuries and tailing off. Such a torrid pace might've made the stats look nice, but it would've done nothing for us over the long haul except burn out our run game. The run blocking overall was downright bad.
  15. Arizona has a top 5 passing attack with probably a top 3 wr duo, yet their run game sucks.... IT's the line
  16. Our oline is still terrible don't see a problem here
  17. I agree with you but jordan is much better then dominic rhodes. In a split carry backfield with Jordan/rookie 1st day pick it's much better then guys like tj duckett or ahman green, but no I would not want to see Jordan as an everydown starter as a solution to replacing willis.
  18. Stokley is injured a lot playing primarily in a dome what makes you think he's gonna stay healthy in a cold weather state playing in the elements?
  19. Joey Porter at this stage is nothing more then a situational 3-4 pass rusher. He's not one the better tacklers in the league, and he's not good in coverage. We need to get youth at the lb position not another one who's 30+
  20. Yeah but compared to the names being throw out like TJ Duckett Ahman green, corey dillon, and jamal lewis, Jordan is actually good. If we were to trade willis, and jordan is available drafting a rb early and having them split carries would work well. As a starter I'd rather not have Jordan. He fumbles a lot and for as decent of a receiving back as he is he seems to drop just as many.
  21. As much as I like Brian Leonard. I'd rather not see him drafted as our future starting rb. . I think you can get the most of his ability as a 3rd down back and getting short yardage carries. Kind of like a Larry Centers. As a pure tailback though I just don't think he offers much of a future at the position.
  22. no suprise about villarrial. I know Bowen got injured last year, but a little suprised they didnt keep him around we dont really have much depth at either safety position.
  23. Jamaal Anderson no questions asked. He'll be gone well before our pick, but if he isn't he's a tremendous pass rusher and regardless of re-signing kelsay pass rushers are premium.
  24. I think ferguson will eventually be good at pass protection my biggest issue with him is he's a finese tackle who will get rolled as a run blocker, making him rather average.
  25. A little experience never hurt, and losing clements leaves us in need of a solid veteran
