  1. I like Brian Leonard a lot and the dude plays hard, and Id rather not make this a racial thing, cause I wish leonard the best on his quest to be a fulltime tailback, but I'd rather that quest be with another team, unless he's willing to be a change of pace guy or a fullback.
  2. Lynch has the power, speed, vision, cut back ability, receiving ability to be a franchise caliber back. The one area that worries me about lynch is his running style. He's a very upright runner, and I can just see him at the next level taking hits that will cause him to spend a good amount of time out injured.
  3. Personaly I wouldn't be tooting my horn on a football message board unless you like that sort of thing
  4. I also dont really care what willis does with the ravens, but let me know when we have a running back
  5. Good I hope chris brown and dominic rhodes say no as well so levy is forced to draft a rb
  6. Trading Nate Clements for the same package we got for mcgahee would've been terrible. Clements is a top 5 player at his position McGahee rounds out the 10-15 range at his. From that perspective would've been a terrible deal. The only thing that bugs me more about losing McGahee more so then Clements is at least with losing clements we have other corners. Granted McGee won't ever confuse anyone with a guy like Nate or Winfield, but he's adequate. We drafted Youboty last year with full intentions of seeing if he could replace Nate. I like Ashton in college, but he has a lot of ground to catch up on. With Losing willis to perceived draft value you're trading him for a throwaway 7th, and 2 3rd rounders 1 this year and 1 next. Now we could get lucky and get a back who has great value and fill another need. Making trading willis, look like a stroke of genius, but again the draft pick is an unknown quantity, and we know what we have now on the depth chart and out in free agency are some serious downgrades to mcgahee. I still feel overall that holding willis this year while drafting a lorenzeo booker, and then drafting a rb of the future next year would've been a much better option. We'll see
  7. WM was my favorite buffalo bill outside of nate clements. Overall though I'm less concerned about losing them and more concerned about who they'll be replaced by. As long as the bills dont think they can get by with the scrubs on the free agent market.
  8. Hey Look at the bright side Fred Jackson led nfl europe in all purpose yardage I'm sure they'll bring in a rb thru the draft, but I really don't know what to think about this trade right now.
  9. Out of this list of rb's I dont care who we sign would prefer rhodes and a rookie over any combination of rb's. None of this list will ever be confused with viable answers at rb.
  10. JEREMEY GREEN IS WHO WE THOUGHT HE WAS!!! HE IS WHO WE THOUGHT HE WAS!!! he's denny greens son
  11. I actualy kind of realized that I just wanted to further hit the point home. So I'll take the heat for not expressing myself on that better. It's all good though
  12. If by some small chance between slim/no way in hell it happens if adrain peterson is there at 12 you take him. You don't pass on him because you have "other needs". I really wouldn't care if we had mcgahee yet at that point if peterson is there you draft him.
  13. Most of those comments are the type of sh-- I expect to hear from your average joe blow fan. However when one actualy looks at the history of the pats you'll soon see they're the same team who at one time traded promising young rb Curtis Martin in division mind you. The Jets signed him to an offer sheet for 36 mil over 6 years and the pats declined to match receiving a 1st and 3rd rd draft pick for the promising young tailback. The pats went onto select HB Robert Edwards and fullback chris floyd. The Pats also the same team who won a sb with antowain smith as their starting tailback although to be fair during smiths 1st superbowl win he actualy had a rather productive season. So I take fan comments for what they are the majority of time unintelligible comments to makes oneself feel better about their own team. Now with that said. Am I happy about the idea of trading a above average rb while not having anything remotely resembling an adequate replacement currently on the roster? Of course not. I trust Levy to realize that scraps like chris brown or corey dillon are nothing more then washaway stop gaps at best, and that a rb of the future will be brought in. Maybe getting rid of the distraction of willis is addition by subtraction, and we'll get something good in return for whatever draft picks we get for him.
  14. Messenger Pigeons make good target practice jk
  15. Id prefer ladell betts he's under contract. Turner would be a one year rental and want big money probably similar to what Lamont Jordan got from the raiders a few years ago. I'm hesistant about any backup becoming the primary back paticularly one who's been backing up the best rb in football.
  16. Hell no To TJ Duckett. That guy is awful, he's a power back who packs any intial burst to consistently move piles, no speed, awful blocking, awful hands. Out of these choices I'd go with Brown/Atrain but if the bills aren't gonna draft a rb I'd prefer Brown/Dillon over Brown/Atrain. Now if the bills are going to draft a back but dont wish to do so in the 1st something like Brown/Lorenzo Booker would be nice. Either way no one will mistake any of the garbage being brought in as long term solutions. Simple stop gaps at best.
  17. Joe Horn is old but just another receiver to blame when Vick Fails terribly again.
  18. yeah he's sleeping alright, when someone manages to wake him up let me know
  19. As old as Dillon is I'd much rather have him over Rhodes/Atrain/Chris Brown/Tj Duckett or any other p.o.s. on the free agent market as long as he's continuing to split carries. As a starter definitely not
  20. we're not fine at dt, I'm not banking of McCargo although I like his potential, but our run defense was putrid. We need 2 possibly 3 lb's. Corner someone to make sure Mcgee isn't our #1, and we can use a pure pass rusher in the de rotation. Schobel is no spring chicken and kelsay while a solid all around de is not a great pass rusher. We could use a better rb unfortunately there's none to be found unless you're trading up for adrian peterson. If worse comes to worse draft a Lorenzo Booker and plantoon this year and get your rb of the future next year.
  21. John Clayton looks like The Math Teacher Mr. Dewey from saved by the bell
  22. I only included the games where he had over 150 yards rushing and left off a good number of other 100+ yard games http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/gamel...7&year=2004 2006 9/9 Washington W 37-20 32 165 5.2 29 9/16 @Oregon L 34-33 34 211 6.2 35 1 10/14 Iowa State W 34-9 26 183 7.0 53 2 2005 9/10 Tulsa W 31-15 32 220 6.9 42 3 11/26 Oklahoma State W 42-14 24 237 9.9 84 2 2004 9/18 Oregon W 31-7 24 183 7.6 40 2 10/9 Texas W 12-0 32 225 7.0 44 0 10/9 Texas W 12-0 32 225 7.0 44 0 10/30 @Oklahoma State W 38-35 33 249 7.5 80 1 11/20 @Baylor W 35-0 32 240 7.5 49 3 12/4 Colorado W 42-3 28 172 6.1 32 3
