  1. The most suprising bills related stat to me. Is still that no Bills receiver has ever had back to back 1000 yard seasons. For as much as people harp on the passing game. That stat to me stands alone, as a sobering reminder. That to win late season football games in Buffalo. You have to be able to control the clock, and the overall game with your rushing attack.
  2. All the proof I need for now
  3. It's stuff like this, that makes me believe on some level there is such a thing as Karma, and people get what they deserve.
  4. Kurt Warner is the perfect example of why the nfl qb rating system is flawed. He has as many turnovers as he does tds. 8 tds 4 picks 4 fumbles. Not the Hallmark of an elite quarterback. I could care less about yards. There was 5 qb's last week who passed for over 300 yards 4 of them lost. As far as Palmer goes. No he wasn't having a good year this year, but a healthy Palmer is an upper echelon quarterback. He's the only reason Marvin Lewis still has a job, and the reason why the Bengals even float around .500 the past few years.
  5. The cards remind me of the Bengals, minus a top tier quarterback, but with a far more athletic defense.
  6. I'm kind of worried about the defense as well. Although I've said I believe the Bills are 1 year away from being a superbowl contending team. Even in the down trodden landscape of the AFC. The one area of concern remains the same. Our edge rush is poor. Schobel while not playing as bad as been made out to be, is still our only legit threat from the edge. Kelsay is/was/always will be nothing more then a high effort guy, who makes places once in awhile. We have no serious threat from the edges. It makes the defense rely too heavily on blitzing, which will cost us down the line against better quarterbacks. It's not something that can be addressed now. 4-0 is still 4-0 but it's a major concern for the offseason imho.
  7. That spelling makes it seem it was said by Solomon Wilcots "Buffalo Beews" "Son of a Beytch"
  8. dont convert the 2 34-21
  9. 32 yards to fitz deep in jets territory now
  10. If the cards can somehow come back and win this. It would be the most hillarious thing ever
  11. The Chiefs are punching Denver in the mouth. Well in the sense that it's a herm edwards team, and they're somehow beating Denver, and havent managed to hurt themselves yet. Denver overlooking KC perhaps.
  12. Cmon that one Zona posession was funny. Nice play to boldin splitting a double team. to set up 1st and goal. Miss the fade in the endzone to Fitz 2nd and goal. Warner proceeds to hold the ball forever. Shaun Ellis smacks it out setting up 3rd and goal from the 32. Boldin proceeds to fumble on the next play. From a viewer standpoint it was amusing.
  13. yeah they did. The giants game was close till the 4th quarter. Both them and the eagles are far superior teams right now imho. Hey I'm as happy as the next Bills fan, about the season so far. I just don't expect blowouts. I'm getting used to the feeling of watching this team score 20+ pts a game as it is. I mean hey we're headed in the right direction. I'd love a blowout win. I just don't expect it. If it happens all the better.
  14. Eh The Bills aren't in a position to blow teams out yet. They're probably a year away from that kind of play. As long as they come out of stl with a W that's all that counts. I think Arizona is a more legit test next week.
  15. I wouldn't play around with players like that. While you or myself, may not like Josh Reed. The Bills obviously do. That's not to say they wouldn't be willing to upgrade the position, but I doubt they'd trade Reed to do so. Him and Trent have good chemistry together. Hell he is our leading receiver in terms of receptions. He's also our best blocking wr. I'd offer up a 3rd or 4th for Holt. If like was previously stated by Dean if the Bills felt he was one of the last pieces of the puzzle.
  16. With Evans due for a contract extension renting out Holt right now might not be the most feasible thing. However Holt is the consummate professional, and a lot like issac bruce did for him. Could show Roscoe, and James Hardy the ropes of life as a wr in the NFL. While they perfect their craft.
  17. ? Just curious Dean O did you happen to ever watch the jags when Coughlin was there? They were anything but conservative. As far as changing with the giants. It was pretty much the opposite situation. Coughlin wanted a more wide open offense that didn't exactly fit the personell they were using. He and Gildbride adjusted, from a pass philosophy to a run oriented grind it out offense, which minimized eli's mistakes, allowing him to grow into his role and the giants leader.
  18. The chiefs will never trade gonzalez. He's the one guy that's the "face" of that franchise. They'll stick with him, in spite of getting picks to improve the team. JP for Gonzalez would make sense for both teams, but Carl Peterson is stubborn. They'd want at least a 1st rd pick for him, and stick to that.
  19. Like a team who gave up on the season awhile ago. Baltimore had a 7 game losing streak at that point.
  20. I tend to look at the rush production of the team vs the run defense they're going up against. With the bills currently sitting at 12th in the league in run defense allowing 3.6 ypc and 93.7ypg with a long run of only 24 yards allowed. The only run over 20 yards allowed. The rams being 32nd in the league running for 3.1ypc 56.3ypg, and 0 tds, and 0 runs over 20 yards. I'd look for a better matchup this week. If you don't have it Go with Jackson. I have sort of a similar quandry. Whether to start Matt forte vs the eagles, chris johnson vs Minn or Ryan grant vs tampa. I have Lynch vs stl, but I need that #2 spot. I'm leaning towards Grant slightly right now. Forte has been good fantasy wise though. So I'll see on that.
  21. I was guilty of overrating Reed coming out of college. I figured he'd be the next Hines Ward, and while he probably won't ever put up Ward receiving numbers. He plays his role well, and has a place on the team. No qualms about it. He contributes, and is a hell of a blocker.
  22. Suprisingly enough Mularkey is actually doing a good job with Matt Ryan and the falcons offense. I'm just sort of wondering who's the worst team in the league the Rams the Chiefs or the Lions.
  23. that was Kellen Clemens who threw the late int in the endzone not Favre. The stats are correct.
