  1. I don't need to read feel good stories about Willis to know he's gonna rip through defenses this season. Willis is the truth
  2. People are confusing TO's antics with what might potentially happen with Willis. There's a huge difference. I've been on the side that TO should be paid highly for his services by the eagles or whoever, but don't confuse this with what might happen with Willis or what's going on with Javon Walker. TO's "big pay day" was suppouse to be last year, he signed the 7 year 49 million dollar contract. Javon Walker/Willis Mcgahee are working with rookie contracts making cheap money by nfl standards. Walker feels he outplayed his contract and to an extent he probably did, thus wanting a new one. He's trying to get fair market value for himself and be paid like an elite receiver after outplaying his rookie contract. Walker will get paid eventually, however he probably should wait till after this season and producing another big year to truly show he deserves to be paid elite money...... That seems to be the road Willis is taking. A Big season by Willis which I fully expect and definitly hope for, will have meant he outplayed his rookie contract, and expect to be paid. If he produces 1500 double digit td's than he should without a doubt receive fair market value money, which backs of his ilk like Mcallister received. With that said there's no reason to worry about that this year. Willis isn't holding out, and is ready to roll towards a big season for #21. As fans of the sport you might not like rosenhaus's tactics, but we should also realize he has a job to do. Get his clients paid, which he does well. I respect Drew Rosenhaus cause I realize this isn't a "Game" to the players it's their lives.
  3. Lawyer Milloy. Since he's come here I've gotten the sense that people think he "sucks" cause he was cut by the patriots even sometimes refered to as "another ne castoff" When the fact is our defense is so much better with him than without him. You'll be hard pressed to find a safety as good as milloy as far as his ability against the run and blitzing go. His pass coverage skills are also underrated. While he's obviousily not Ed Reed ( who is? ) in this department you can do a lot worse than Milloy. I was gonna say Fletcher but 34-78-83 already mentioned him.
  4. I'm keeping my Bledsoe jersey. While obviousily it didn't work out. Bledsoe was a guy that was easy to root for, which in turn made him easy to hate, but I'm Keeping it cause It's a Bills jersey and I'll show my support regardless.... It's the colors that matter anyway not the name. Plus my Bledsoe jersey is a little to worn since it's a replica, to be switching it over to a parrish. I'm not gonna buy a parrish jersey anyway. I don't like having the jersey of a #3 wr.
  5. Of course he doesn't. I couldn't find stats for passes droped, but I found this on footballoutsiders.com # of passes thrown their way/yards/td's/% of catches 81-T.Owens- 127 1202 14 61% 87-J.Horn- 153 1399 11 61% 87-M.Muhammad- 160 1407 16 58% 85-C.Johnson- 169 1274 10 56% 80-E.Moulds- 152 1048 5 58% 84-R.Moss- 86 769 13 57% seems Moulds percentage of passes he catches compares favorably with some of the best in the league. Moulds is my favorite Buffalo Bill and I'd like nothing better than for him to retire a Bill.
  6. Rb's are a dime a dozen, I doubt the Bills pay him what he wants. 392846[/snapback] Rb's are a dime a dozen, however great rb's are rare, and Mcgahee is gonna be great and get paid. Hopefully by us.
  7. Good for deuce mcallister one of the top 10 backs in this league and worth every penny. Keeps his mouth shut didn't make waves, produces and gets paid.... Congrats on the fat pay day Deuce
  8. also this little tidbit ESPN.com's John Clayton reports the Carolina Panthers were apparently not going to offer a draft pick to the Washington Redskins for WR Rod Gardner. Only after the New Orleans Saints joined the fray, did the Panthers step up and offer a pick for Gardner. Also, the pick the Panthers gave up for Gardner was a conditional sixth-round pick in 2006. If for some reason Gardner does not make the final roster, the Panthers would not owe the Redskins the pick.
  9. I don't see Gardner getting much playing time sitting behind Keary Colbert. I think he'll be the #3 wr. He adds good depth to a team who's #3 wr is 135 year old Ricky Proehl
  10. /dev/null likes kirk more than picard
  11. As Great as TO is and I think he's the greatest receiver in the game right now, I wouldn't do this made up trade scenairo.
  12. What everyone else said. Most definitly Jimbo
  13. he doesn't enjoy it......
  14. The 5 second clock..... This was really dumb and gave theisman a built in excuse to continue to kiss more butts than ash trays.
  15. Just because ty law is a free agent does not mean he's damaged goods. If Healthy a corner like Law is well worth the risk, at 31 he still has a couple good years left at cb. Can he be the same dominating presence he was? Maybe not, but I think the reward of signing a corner like Law well outweighs the risk, and he will improve any teams secondary that he goes to, which is why I hope he goes to the nfc and not someone like the jet jags or chiefs.
  16. If we only had te's to throw to Moulds will continue to draw more double teams and be the best wr on the team, However evans will continue to improve throughout the year. Hopefully someone steps up as a solid 3rd option and hopefully we get some receiving production of out our te's and or rb's
  17. Thank you for speaking the truth. To me YPC are directly reflective more so of the offensive line than the ability of the runningback. Willis created a lot of his own yards after 1st contact, and was hit repeatedly behind the los. It's more a testament to his skills that he had 7 100 yard games than to the oline. Another example of this would be Sd's Ladanian Tomlinson who finished with only 3.9 ypc but 6 100 yard games. This oline got medicore to below average push in the run game. I can't recall any games where the line just completly pushed opposing defense backwards. Now obviousily I don't expect us to have the oline of the chiefs, but it would be nice to see some different colored jersey's go backwards when we're running the ball. The pass protection is the weakest part of the oline. Maybe it had a lot to do with Bledsoe, but they have to get better at picking up blitzes up the middle, but I believe this will come with more commitment to the run game, especially off tackle runs, and sweeps, mixed in with plenty of play action and a solid safety valve, and short routes . Weaknesses can always be covered up, but this oline is in no way anything to write home about.
  18. good question I still think going to outter space is a gigantic waste of time and money that would be better served fixing real problems here one earth.
  19. Man that guy had a tremendous career...... Start making that Bust Lionel Turner for Canton 2010!!!
  20. SWEET. Football season is just around the corner I can't friggen wait
  21. This technique works like a charm, what also works is if you're a single father or just baby sitting and you go out for a walk in the park or to a department store somewhere and bring along junior girls will flock to you like white on rice.
  22. I say Roscoe wins the slot reciever job by the 2nd preseason game, and Josh Reed and Sam Aiken spend the entire season as the #4 and #5 wr's. P.S- I see it's your first post so welcome aboard
  23. Owens to be at camp Eagles: Owens says he'll be at camp by Fanball Staff - Fanball.com Friday, July 22, 2005 News Eagles wideout Terrell Owens has told the Philadelphia Inquirer he would report to training camp on Aug. 1. "I'll be there," Owens told the paper on Friday. "I mean, the bottom line is that I still believe I deserve a new contract. I still believe I deserve more than what they've given me. But I'm not stupid. I'm not about to miss training camp, get fined every day and give them even more reasons to keep from paying me. I'll be there but I won't be happy, I can tell you that much. Take from that whatever you want." Owens has spent most of the offseason demanding a new contract. He is one year into a seven-year, $49 million deal that he signed last offseason. Views Owens said yesterday that he'd be willing to play with another team if it meant he gets his new contract, but it looks highly unlikely that the Eagles will deal him. That means the two sides are going to have to work something out before the season starts, and this is a step towards resolving the issue. It remains to be seen what kind of attitude Owens brings with him into camp, but the fact he is willing to show up at all is progress. And if he ends up getting a new contract, it may deter other Drew Rosenhaus clients from holding out to get their new deals.
  24. Damn TO for wanting to get paid.... DAMN HIM.... We all know NFL Teams always honor the contracts they sign players too.... TO should just be proud to wear the unifrom....... Owens is going about this the wrong way, and not saying the brightest things, but the bottom line is. He doesn't have to honor the contract, and should be paid accordingly to his talent, which would be the HIGHEST PAID WR IN THE NFL.....
  25. Class Clown You are 0% Rational, 85% Extroverted, 85% Brutal, and 85% Arrogant. You are the Class Clown. This means you walk down the center of the classroom with books on your head, while the teacher stares on in... sh--, I really need to stop looking at these pictures while I'm typing. Anyway, I MEANT to say that you are the Class Clown, and this means that you are extroverted, mean, and arrogant. You are not very rational, so you gravitate towards things that produce feelings or emotions over thoughts (like fart jokes or spitballs, for instance). You are also an extrovert and rather full of yourself, so of course you want constant attention for yourself and think you are somehow better than others. You can also be a bit mean-spirited, and like a class clown you wouldn't hesitate to make a joke at someone else's expense, no matter how terrible it would make them feel. So your personality defects are that you have to be the center of attention, that you don't care about others, and that you are rather irrational and motivated by intuitions. Now stop walking around with those books on your head and sit down this instant! To put it less negatively: 1. You are more INTUITIVE than rational. 2. You are more EXTROVERTED than introverted. 3. You are more BRUTAL than gentle. 4. You are more ARROGANT than humble. Compatibility: Your exact opposite is the Robot. Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Schoolyard Bully, the Smartass, and the Brute.
