  1. http://www.jetnation.com/forums/viewtopic....beb65d98a430767 you can't make this stuff up it's priceless. Scroll down to the 3rd picture of a coach.
  2. EXACTALY!!! The Biggest difference between our defense and phillys is speed, can anyone honestly other then trotter who didn't play name the eagles starting lbs? The eagles have a nice little defense, but I really believe our d is a hell of a lot faster then just about every defense in the nfl, with the exception of maybe 1 or 2. While Philly blitzed their safeties, I think we have more options, to come with lb's corners, safeties, and bring it from more directions then just off the corners. Teams with good lb's are the teams that have been able to control vick. I think we make him look bad, the team I'm worried about in the nfc south is carolina even without kris jenkins that defense can be lethal, and delhomme is brady esque.
  3. if we had a te with speed we're not talking "overthrow" it's a easy pitch n catch for a td. We have no speed at the te position with everett injured
  4. I'd have to agree. Trotter loss is huge for the eagles, and well WTF is Kevin Mathis? Still sucks for trotter imo he did nothing to get ejected.
  5. Pre game fight. as trotter was walking by,him and falcons cb kevin mathis got into a war of words, mathis punched trotter, trotter grabbed mathis's facemask and they were having a tug of war on each others face mask. Refs and teammates try seperating them. Ref throws a flag both get ejected. Trotter should not be ejected as he never not once did he throw a punch at mathis.
  6. I like the person on that board who said the bucs have to dink n dunk next week vs us. I'm sorry but everytime I've seen a team just beat us passing it's been veritcally ala chiefs/pats. The bucs should provide a real solid test for our offense though. Going up against an athletically fast defense, who I expect to come with the pressure, a lot more then houston tried to today. This is the game I expect to see us use the run to set up some deep patterns. Thinking about it this also made me remember the mularkey factor. Pittsburgh had success against the bucs tampa 2 defense by throwing deep and pounding the rock. Pretty simplistic I know but that's how they got it done. They took it right at tampa, I expect us to try to do the same. I don't expect it to be highscoring but I think we can come away with a w. 17-10 bills
  7. Granted I didn't spend the whole game concentrating on mcgee, but I think your #3 point was covered up by #4. I saw Vincent giving a good amount of help to terrence mcgee. Vincent looks like the real deal at fs, and seems fully comfortable. Him and Milloy will make an awesome safety tandem
  8. I have no idea what theisman is saying but kyle boller sucks. I hear ravens fans keep blaming their oline, but pass blocking for kyle boller is just an impossible task. The guy lacks any semblences of pocket awarness. Seeing the game larry tripplet is having is it possible the ravens miss Bennie Anderson? jk..... sort of.... I think
  9. Our safeties. Troy Vincent seems to be making a very smooth transition in his first season starting at fs. He came up with good over the top protection for terrence mcgee, and 2 nice picks. Milloy as usual was solid, getting a fumble recovery and adding a pick of his own. I love this safety duo. I look for big things from our secondary this year.
  10. the bucs had a great game. Cadillac looks like the real deal. However the vikings lb's to put it nicely suck. they're all built to play mlb. Sam Cowart is just sloooooww. It should be a good test for our offense though next week against the tampa defense.
  11. 60 MINUTES AND COUNTING................. LETS GO BUFFALO
  12. 14 hours and 47 minutes
  13. The Jets played conservative? WOW THERES A SHOCKER The jets would've lost that game either way imo, I honestly see the jets no better than 7-9 team this season.
  14. Outside of Randy Moss I don't see the raiders as being "loaded" with talent, and Norv Turner is one of the worst if not the worst head coach in the league. His play calling is pretty predictable. Run jordan run jordan throw deep. There's no mixing it up. No underneath routes. Te seems. No Hot reads. It's run and throw deep. Almost highschool level play calling. he even threw in a couple famous Norv Turner 3rd and long draw plays, that he ran all the time as miami's offensive coordinator. Lamont Jordan while a capable backup, I'm just not that enamored with. I like him to follow in the footsteps of kevin barlow, and be decent but by no means a world beater. Teams won't have to fear jordan, will simply deepen their safeties like the pats did and eliminate the threat of moss deep, while leaving it up to their front 7 to handle jordan. If the raiders win more than 6 games this year I'll be suprised.
  15. 180 yards and 4 tds the texans front 7 is not good. Travis Johnson is undersized they lost jamie sharper and jay foreman. I'd run at them all day long. 8 in the box or not. If we can't run on that defense it's gonna be a long long season
  16. I don't get why anyone would fear the raiders? How quick people forget a lot of moss's production was led by culpepper scrambling around in the backfield to give moss time. Yeah moss will get his yards, but make no mistake kerry collins is nowhere near the qb that culpepper is, and the raiders defense is swiss cheese. It would still be an embarssment as it was last year to lose to that team. I don't see them winning any more than 6 games.
  17. or the amount of non calls on the patriots oline for blatant offensive holding. Brady is a good quaterback there's no denying that, but the amount of times that oline gets away with holding giving him eons to throw is just assinine
  18. If we're gonna groom someone to replace clements I'd rather it be someone taller than 5'9. No offense to terrence mcgee I think he's developed nicely and will make a good carrer #2 corner, he has a knack for making plays, but as far as a #1 corner goes, Clements is the total package he has the size the speed, the knack for making plays and scoring touchdowns. Defensive players who score touchdowns are a very rare breed, and worth keeping around. I truly believe Clements is the premiere corner in the league, I won't debate it, cause I'm not changing my mind based on 1 game where btw earlier in the game ripped the ball out of smiths hands for a nice int. Every corner has an off day. Clements off days to me were few and far between. I'd be quicker to let terrence mcgee walk then Nate Clements. Good return men can be found. Defensive players who score touchdowns are harder to come by. PAY NATE TOM!!
  19. The raiders defense sucks ass
  20. 28- 3 Bills JP plays pedestrian. Mcgahee busts out with 180 yards and 4 td's. Defense dominates.
  21. I'd personally like to see the bills receive and have terrence mcgee take the season opening kickoff to the house.
  22. NEVER EVER NEVER EVER EVER FOREVER FOREVER NEVER EVER ROOT FOR THE COWBOYS TO DO WELL! The cowboys are my most hated team followed closey by the 3 other teams in the afc east jets/pats/dolphins.
  23. Yeah but that game also produced the 2002 catch of the year by Eric Moulds. A One handed full spin turnaround catch in full sprint for a td.
  24. Dante Hall's kickoff return or maybe it was a punt against the bronocs 2 years ago. He catches the ball at the 10 gets forced back to the one jukes out the entire broncos coverage team on his way for a td.
