  1. Our Run Game hit a serious wall once Mike Williams was out with nagging injuries and then eventually pulled from the lineup for a converted te who everyone is in love with for some odd reason. With Mike Williams we were much much better running the football, and I have no reason to not believe that if we get quality linemen that McGahee will be fine. Lee Evans is no peerless price. He's 100x's better then price ever was or ever will be. While I'm not sold on him as a true #1 he's a damn good wr and I can only imagine he'll get better JP Losman- I was not this guys biggest fans but I'm finding it hard not to like him, while he makes the mistakes expected of a 1st year starter he also does things well. I've heard he has a strong arm but it's better then I thought. I'd like to see us get some reliable check down options and an oline, but Losman seems to be headed in the right direction. If Kevin Everett turns out to be the real deal at te that we lack it'll help tremendously. Evans and Mcgahee are good Losman still some question marks but headed in the right direction
  2. The jets lacked serious talent What I wont forget is his stint with the pats especially in 99 when the pats were 6-2 at the break and looking like the hottest team in the league then 2-6 after the break. That team quit on Pete Carroll and that tells me all I need to know about caroll as a nfl head coach... I'll pass Kirk Ferentz out of Iowa however would be intriguing
  3. I dont buy this stuff that it takes a few years to rebuild. The Panthers, Bears, Cowboys, Pats from 2000-2001, and countless others have rebuilt relativly quickly. If you spend wisely and bring in the right people it can be done
  4. Nope he definitly hasn't. He tries hard, can't really put the lack of an nfl adequate oline on the struggles of a 1st year starting qb. so yeah Add him to the list as well
  5. Everyone not named Lee Evans, Josh Reed, London Fletcher and Angelo Crowell. And as much flack as he seems to get Lawyer Milloy. The past few games I've seen milloy up near the los trying to make the tackle and be generally around the ball.
  6. I'll dream all I want to as this seems to be the only thing left to do concerning the Buffalo Bills. I'm disgusted with the losing. The heartless play. The clueless coaches with their thumbs up their butts, and becoming the arizona of the north east. If theres even the slightest possibility we could bring in a Ron Wolf as a gm, or a Jimmy Johnson, or anyone who has a resume that looks like they could turn this team around then I'm all for.... and by all means if it takes that much to get Ron Wolf then WHY THE !@#$ NOT?
  7. Hopefully the jets continue to show heart and determination and play tough for Herm Edwards and win their final 3 games blowing their chances at reggie bush
  8. demarcus ware and marcus spears happened to be best players available demarcus ware may be arguable with shawn merriman going right after him, but couldn't have gone wrong either way. Spears was the best player available at 20
  9. If theres an offensive coordinator I'd like as a hc, it's Al Saunders from the KC Chiefs. I was high on kubiak at one time. Maybe I'm wrong for taking off the list of guys I'd like, but him no longer calling plays just struck me the wrong way. http://www.kcchiefs.com/coach/al_saunders/ AL SAUNDERS 23rd Year NFL Coach • 15th with Chiefs Regarded as one of the most accomplished and innovative offensive minds in all of football with experience as both a head coach and offensive coordinator, Al Saunders enters his fifth season as assistant head coach/offensive coordinator for the Chiefs in 2005. Embarking on his 36th season in the coaching ranks this year, Saunders owns 23 years of NFL coaching experience and is beginning his 15th coaching campaign with Kansas City. He previously served a 10-year stint as assistant head coach/wide receivers coach under head coach Marty Schottenheimer from ‘89-98. During that 10-year span, he was part of a Chiefs coaching staff which helped guide Kansas City to three AFC West titles and seven playoff berths. In total, Saunders has been associated with 10 postseason appearances, five division crowns and a World Championship during his NFL tenure. In 2004, the Chiefs led the NFL in total offense for the first time in franchise history, accumulating a franchise-record 6,695 yards or an average of 418.4 ypg. In the process, Kansas City established an NFL record with 398 first downs, breaking the previous mark of 387 set by the ‘84 Dolphins. I wont post the rest of it cause it's pretty long, but I'd like a coach in buffalo who could accomplush this..... Dating back to 2001 when Saunders took over as offensive coordinator, the Chiefs rank first in the NFL with 24,278 net yards of total offense (379.3 ypg). The Chiefs oppulent numbers during that 64-game span from 2001-04 are also the league’s best in the following seven categories: offensive TDs (200), rushing TDs (105), total first downs (1,413), Red Zone TD percentage (64.3%), runs of 10+ yards (255), passing yards per attempt (7.79) and passing yards per completion (12.58).
  10. Back in 2001 I wanted the bills to bring in Gary Kubiak, however Kubiak no longer even calls the plays in denvers offense. Shannahan does. At one time Kubiak might've been very good offensive mind, but theres a reason he no longer calls plays
  11. On the defensive holding call in the endzone. In that same play a dallas tackle completly tackled one of kc's defensive ends. There's times in game to call penalties and others to let them go. At worst it should've been offsetting. I hate to see games basically end that way.
  12. I'm not the biggest JP fan in the world, but all this tells me is we lack reliable check down options, that coupled with JP not properly knowing how to check down. He still puts way to much steam on his short passes, but a reliable te and receiving back would at least help bump up his completion % a little.
  13. I'm not one for bring back posts, but what was all that wrong with wade. Yes there was indecisiveness about the quaterback position, but at least we were competative under Wade Phillips and actually made the playoffs.
  14. Larry Johnson runs behind Willie Roaf, Brian Waters, Casey Weigham, Will Shields, John Welbourne...... Like I stated the other day once Mike Williams was taken out of the lineup our run game has dropped off considerably. Add that to our anemic passing game, and constant 8 man fronts and well this is what you get.
  15. Simeon Rice seemed to have turned out ok, and Thomas Jones is finally putting it all together in chicago, but to answer this question I'd go with Dorsett Davis followed closey by wendall bryant
  16. Actually not just Aiken, but I think this game could go a long way in telling us whether or not Josh Reed is worth re-signing after this season.
  17. The cowboys oline has been attrocious since Flozell Adams went out with an injury. It's kind of sad when Larry Allen is still your best linemen after all these years in the league. Marco Rivera has been a huge bust for them. They're starting a rookie and a undrafted free agent at the tackle positions, the interior is pretty bad as well. It's probably about as bad as the current state of our offensive line. Their run blocking is a little worse though
  18. While on one hand I'd be happy about having Jimmy Johnson as a gm not so much as a coach...... I have a hard time believing a rumor that starts out ... "I have some good news from a friend who's cousin.........."
  19. I was also a pretty big Mike Williams supporter. I thought he'd be a cog to our oline for the next 10 years, and I still feel that he's a good football player. Overpaid for production sure, but he's had some things happent to him, be it his grandmother, car accident, nagging injuries, shuffling in and out of offensinve line coaches and head coaches, offensive coordinators, that he hasn't been given a real solid chance to succeed. I wouldn't be suprised if he lands on his feet next year sadly someplace else, as I feel he is still our best offensive linemen as far as run blocking goes, and that's too bad cause the way our offense is built we're gonna need all the good run blocking linemen we can get. Thats if Mularkey ever realizes this team is built to run the ball
  20. Ok Granted I see no overall value to the drafting of a rt at the #4 spot in the draft, and yes at times seems to displacy competency instead of a all around nasty attitude that is coveted in offensive linemen. However I don't see how is on field play is a bust? Case in point other then the new england game our running game for lack of a better term has been below average, where as when Mike Williams was playing rt, we pretty much seemed to be able to run at will. So why then cut Mike Williams or label him a bust if he's our best run blocking linemen? Why not put Mike back at rt?
  21. Kansas City, Denver, Chargers or Philly. All these teams are in need of a wr. Kansas City would probably be the least likely spot, even though I think it would make the most sense considering their current wr core. Denver would also be ideal for moulds. They need a strong physical wr who can catch passes over the middle. Ashley Lelie and Darrius watts have been busts for them. Chargers. I think they're happy with their current wr core but I hope Moulds ends up here. I'd love to see him paired with Tomlinson/Gates/Mccardell and Brees. Philly. Who else do they have? they once again need a wr bad, and a running back.
  22. If thats what you wanna do then go for it, Your hometown team at least seems to be heading in the right direction
  23. Yes Kind of like what lions fans did last sunday chanting Fire Millen during the lions home loss to the vikings, then chanting fire millen at a redwings game against the devils. Let Ralph know loud and clear
