The fact is Larry Johnson the majority of time can run 3-4 yards pas the line of scrimmage before even being touched. It must be real difficult to run through open holes. It's no suprise to me that Johnson is putting up Priest Holmes type stats behind the same line, and I highly doubt he would be doing that here. It all starts up front. It's the golden rule of winning football.

I wouldnt say this was willis's best game. His best game imo was last year against the jets. This game though like the original poster stated he made a lot of nice cut moves with no wasted dancing and just broke on it, something I haven't seen him do in awhile. He has played well against the jets the past 2 years. but I was impressed with what I saw. I have no doubt in mind with a an improved oline and more commitment to the run next year he's a 1500 double digit td back. He might not run 4.24 40 anymore, his 40 time post injury was 4.5. which is still plenty fast. Just for comparison Larry Johnson ran a 4.66 40 coming out of PSU. We should be building this team around Willis. Lets hope whoever is the gm and coach gives us this offense an idenity next seaosn by building around the best player on the unit.

I think we as bills fan have become so accustomed to bad offensive lines that we actually believe crap like "Mike Gandy is an adequate lt". Mike gandy is nothing more then a nice backup linemen. Go watch a real offensive line like the colts or the seahawks, the chiefs, steelers. Mike gandy wouldnt crack the starting lineup of most teams in the nfl. You can paint the crap any color you want but it's still crap.

I wouldnt take jimmy williams at 8.... I think he's eventually going to end up a safety at the nfl level. If Jerry Gray is our dc Jimmy williams would be a nightmare. Like Clements he's a man up corner not a zone guy. We take a dt or de depending on who's available. I'm holding out for mario williams or ngata

this game had no implications. Dallas was out the momemt washington beat philly. They knew the deal before the game.

Troy Vincent is old and plays like it Lawyer Milloy tries hard but is old and plays like it Sam Adams is old fat and lazy and plays good when he feels like it this is the worst run blocking offensive line the bills have had in quite some time Trading up for JP Losman was a dumb idea. This team would've been better served keeping those 3 other draft picks and taking some linemen. Eric Moulds 10 years later is still our best wr Aaron Schobel got the big money contract and continues to get better Our te's are really horrible. They're non existant in the pass game and horrible blocking. Our best blocking te is our new rt. Mike Mularkey preaches smash mouth football then trys to play finese and ends up outthinking himself.

When dallas had flozell adams earlier in the season I'd agree since then I'd disagree. their oline has been pretty damn bad run blocking and pass protection.

I disagree with this, I noticed at the game The Jets consistently rolled coverage towards moulds. Evans was in 1 on 1 situations with justin miller most of the time, and we didn't even attempt to take advantage of this. Moulds still gets the respect of defenses. Yeah he doesn't have the speed he used to, but it's not gonna be easy to replace him, losing moulds will mean parrish and evans as our wr's unless everett turns out to be the next antonio gates this won't be a good thing. He's not worth 10.6 million, but he's still the best receiver on this team by a long shot.

I was at the game and I disagree with this. I'm not fan of Jason Peters but I think today was one of his better games run blocking since he's been playing rt. I still think he'd be better off in a jason dunn type blocking te role.

Yes and everyone of his passes were quite horrible as the wind batted them around. 9 of 24 for 101 yards and 1 td. It was almost as bad as chad pennington trying to throw here late in the year. No thanks

I'll go farther then not playing good for an entire game. Has Losman once played good this season for more then a quater of football? his burst against miami came in the first 5 minutes, we all know what happened after that. The KC game was basically coming off the bench. Houston has proven to be the worst team in the league, and even then he played poorly in the 2nd half. I'm not saying he wont ever be a good quaterback, but he's yet to prove he can string together 2 good quaters let alone 4. I've seen some improvements with him since his benching. I've seen him look off his first option more. I've seen him make some throws he wasn't making earlier in the year. However he still panics with imaginary pressure. He needs to learn to take some of the heat off the short passes. This will go a long way to improving his completion pct drastically. So will a receiving te. I'm not giving up on losman, but I'd like to see him improve his short passes, learn to check down it's not there deep. Learn to get other wr's involved. And add some weight to your frame. I'm worried he's too lanky to take hits in this leauge that he will take.

I dont think Losman will make it as a starter in the nfl. He'll stick around for awhile as a backup, and probably excell in that role to offer a spark, but I dont see him as a starting qb in the nfl. I dont have any fancy stats or inside information to back my claim. Just a feeling about him. I hope he proves me wrong though.
