  1. Ughh if an nfl owner woke up tomorrow with the money peyton manning makes he'd jump off the highest building possible. Cold pizza btw also got it wrong. If they don't reach an agreement by March 3rd there will be an uncapped year in 07, but there will be football in 08 just no nfl draft.
  2. Definitly dumervil Natural Pass rusher who was extremely productive in college. Doesn't have the speed of a dwight freeney, but he can get to the quaterback. It's hard to ignore dumervils production which includes double digit sack campagins in his junior and senior year. 20 of which he produced just this past season.
  3. I know parcells likes "his guys" but I dont think he's a moron. Fabini is absolutly awful. Mike Williams problem doesnt seem to be talent as much of it is a lack of a competative drive. He just seemed content, and thought he'd get by on his strength. If I'm parcells I'd see if I could get that drive instilled in a still young Mike Williams rather then wasting time with fabini. However I think Mike Williams ends up with the dolphins.
  4. Saints | Team won't tag Bentley Wed, 22 Feb 2006 19:00:17 -0800 Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports the New Orleans Saints are not planning to place a franchise or transition tag on free agent OC LeCharles Bentley. He almost certainly will find a new home when the NFL's free agency period begins March 3. "I'm not ruling out the idea of coming back," Bentley said. "But with that being said, New Orleans has had ample opportunity to put their bid on the table. And once the other bids start coming in, I have to make the best decision I can." He was disappointed that the team did not sign him to a long-term contract extension sooner. Bentley, who is now represented by Neil Schwartz, is expected to seek a contract similar to what the Carolina Panthers gave guard Mike Wahle last year, reportedly a five-year deal worth up to $28 million with $11.5 million in bonuses. Saints general manager Mickey Loomis also did not rule out the possibility that the Saints could re-sign Bentley, but they have allowed themselves the possibility to be outbid for his services. It'll probably be a bidding war for Bentley, but better then giving up a pick. git er done marv.
  5. Yes because they have a dominant defensive line. Most of their plugs came in the secondary, but without guys like richard seymour, without bringing in guys like ted washington and keith traylor for a season, and guys like ty warren, jarvis green, vince wilfork. Ne wouldn't have been able to plug in any fresh body.
  6. Your stomach Vomiting (or emesis) is the forceful expulsion of the contents of one's stomach through the mouth.
  7. Thinking about it if there is one team that stands in our way of getting ngata it's the 49ers. Yes their offense is bad, however the first rule of 3-4 defense is having a dt who can anchor their line. Ngata fits the mold of a 3-4 dt who could do just that.
  8. That doesnt seem to be a mock draft. It seems to be a mock of best overall player rankings.
  9. Honestly do you miss it cause teams had faces or do you miss it cause we were good? A lot of it sounds like spoiled milk and I get the feeling if our team was competative now no one would give a damn about the 90's. Personally I'm sick of the 90's. It's nice to reflect upon, and yes teams had idenitys and you could associate a player with a certain team, but it was also a lot like baseball. You knew which team was good, and which teams were bad. There was no chance of bad teams getting better, and always seeing the same teams year in and year out got nauseating. I hope it never goes back to that.
  10. Pretty damn stupid. Reggie Wayne is a decent receiver but guys like him come and go every year. Not worth the money the colts gave him. For some other team in need of a wr sure, but it was a non need for the colts, as wayne could've easily been replaced. Say goodbye for any chance at a superbowl Peyton not that he could ever get there anyway.
  11. na that makes far to much sense to invest heavy in the trenches. We need more skill position players who wont help us immediatly.
  12. This is one of the risks you take when hockey is aired on the Outdoor Life Network
  13. Yes I'd be interested in pete kendall, hell no to fabini, and no to mawae. I was interested in kendall 2 years ago after the cardnials cut him, and we apparantly had no interest but the jets did and he helped anchor down the guard spot for the 2004 leading rushing curtis martin. He's a pretty good linemen, at least better then bennie anderson so he'd offer an upgrade there. Although I'd rather go with youth on the oline, if Kendall came cheap I'd be fine with him here.
  14. Hashish consists of the THC-rich resinous material of the cannabis plant, which is collected, dried, and then compressed into a variety of forms, such as balls, cakes, or cookie-like sheets. Pieces are then broken off, placed in pipes, and smoked. The Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, and Afghanistan are the main sources of hashish. The THC content of hashish that reached the United States, where demand is limited, averaged about 5 percent in the 1990s. Source: DEA Hashish has an average of 2 to 8 percent THC and can contain as much as 20 percent THC. My guess is it stays in your system longer then pot, and is detectable the same way as checking for pot, Urine, blood or hair tests.
  15. I believe the only true way to test for LSD is by doing a spinal tap so I'll rule that out, if they're doing a piss test drugs like coke and heroin dont nearly stay in your body long enough so I'll rule them out. You can also get rid of Psilocybin which really isn't strong simply by taking anything with citric or ascorbic acid so I'll rule that out. Ricky Williams just doenst strike me as someone who does meth. That doesnt seem to be up his ally. If It's anything from this lists it's hashish.
  16. When you figure it out let me know the answer I'm also glad we tagged Nate. I dont think his year was as bad as people made it out to be. Who exactaly people thought they'd get that is better then clements I dont know, Imo there is maybe 2-3 guys who are better (Law, healthy Shawn Springs, and Mcallister) Corners generally dont come into their own until 28 or so, and last I checked it's also not one of the easiest positions. 20 ints in 5 years though? I'll take it. his 4 int a year average is better then a lot of suppoused top corners. he's caused 16 turnovers in the last 2 years. 8 picks and 8 forced fumbles, while becoming one of the surer tacklers in the nfl. The defenses problems is far from their secondary. It all starts up front where we really lack talent.
  17. It was all a dream I used to read Word Up magazine Salt'n'Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine Notorious BIG- Juicy I hear Brenda's got a baby Well, Brenda's barely got a brain A damn shame Tha girl can hardly spell her name 2pac "Brendas Got a Baby
  18. DMX I guess, I don't know, just a guess. I could be wrong, or I could be right it could go either way really.
  19. I figured this thread at least needed a full body shot http://www.laurelsprings.com/images/studen...n_russia_01.jpg http://img.coxnewsweb.com/B/01/31/17/image_1317311.jpg http://www.patinagecanada.ca/en/gallery/im...nt04_d1ba_f.jpg
  20. You dont have to be "big" to play sslb, especially in a cover 2, what you should have is adequate coverage ability and decent speed, which I think crowell posesses. With an improved line Crowell can make the switch to sslb.
  21. Kovy likes big butts and he can not lie you other brothas can't deny when a girl walks in with a itty bitty waist and round thing in his face he gets sprung !
  22. 1. 2pac - Simply put the greatest rapper ever. No one imo could touch him lyrically, touched every range of emotion better then anyone. From caring in songs like Dear Mama, Keep your head up to to having fun in songs like I get around. To Gangsta in songs like Bomb First, Troublesome 96 etc. It's true when you die and you happen to be a musican you become more popular, but imo his songs relate to a lot of the issues today within urban society. 2. Biggie 3. Nas 4. Big L 5. Sticky Fingaz 6. NWA 7. Public Enemy 8. Eminem 9. Bone Thugs 10. Lost Boys
  23. I'd like JJ a lot. He has the size for the jump ball, and could be a great redzone threat, and a good posession type wr. David Givens would offer the possesion type wr opposite evans, and has reliable hands. Antonio Bryant would be a good option as well. Although I'm not of the mindframe that we need another wr. A receiving threat at te would be nice though.
