  1. Well it's nice if one of those teams work out a contract with him but now it all depends on what they're offering the bills as compensation. Personaly I'd rather not take on players from either of those teams.
  2. yeah I dont fancy sitting down on thanksgiving and watching the bills get blown out like the last few times we've had primetime games. I'd like to eat my turkey without indigestion.
  3. the chiefs are the oldest team in the nfl so how does what peterson says coincide with the team hes putting on the field? A gm like Carl Peterson is not something I'd ever want. He doesn't exactaly have the chiefs competing for superbowls or winning playoff games. Not a great example. All Peterson cares about is being .500 to keep arrowhead full. Thats his goal year in and year out. The Chiefs haven't improved in major need areas in a long while.
  4. He easily is, and I'd love to keep him around and even have him retire as a Bill, but sometimes you do have to go in a new direction. I think this is one of those times. The money due to moulds could be better served along the trenches thats my only issue with it. Otherwise I'd love to have him stay.
  5. Id take the texans 4th rounder without a problem. Moulds would be good for that team. Especially for Andre Johnson and any other young wr's there. If Carr cant get it going with possibly reggie bush. eric moulds, andre johnson, well then it'll never happen. I'm sure they'll do a lot to improve their line as well. My early pick for most improved team of 06-07.
  6. When has Tim Euhus showed he can play at an nfl level?
  7. I'd do it only cause we also have the titans 3rd rd pick this year. So Yeah I'd do it. Walker is on his rookie contract. I dont think he's making that much. The problem is he wants to be paid more money.
  8. yeah marv should put one of those poison pills in the contract that if washington matches dan snyder has to dress in a tutu and pay dockery in gold dust No but seriousily Dockery wouldn't be a bad guy to look at. Would definitly fit in with building for the future
  9. Marc Boerigter a hot commodity.... I think E. Moulds trade value is higher then most around here think. The Bills dont have to dump moulds, sure they dont want him at his current salary, but they don't have to get rid of him. I'd look for teams like philly, den, ne or a team on the cusp to offer up something like a 3rd rounder as we get closer to the draft. Of course I could be wrong and maybe no one wants to trade for a 32 year old wr, but if the choice is a draft pick for eric moulds or Marc Boerigter
  10. Just throwing out another name here John McCargo- DT NC STATE 6'2 302lbs.- Comparative imo to Broderick Bunkley, strong, quick penetrator, had a tackle for a loss in every game as junior. Some people might be a little weary cause he played on a team with Mario Williams and Manny Lawson, but I think McCargo is good enough in his own right.
  11. I'll be shocked to see Marcedes Lewis lasts till the 2nd rd. Honestly I still think he's the best te in the draft. I know the Davis bandwagon wont agree but I think Marcedes offers a better all around effort then davis. Marcedes is a better blocker, taller, probably would make a better redzone target. Plenty fast in his own right. I also love Leonard Pope from Georgia, Dominique Byrd from USC and some others. This is a pretty deep te class.
  12. WOW! Just what I want to see 20 different views of a false start or holding or intentional grounding The late hits on quaterbacks not being able to have helmet to helmet hits is sad. I agree you shouldn't intentionaly lead with your helmet but thats a risk in a collision sport. It's getting the point where soon we'll be seeing a game where the qb is wearing a red jersey and is off limits and has a flag tucked into his pants.. Honestly I hate the whole replay system. I think the game is getting too soft and drawn out with all these rules. I wish They'd get rid of the entire system and try a novel concept like hiring full time officials and letting the players just play the game.
  13. Patriots | Team agrees to terms with S. Neal Thu, 23 Mar 2006 22:13:27 -0800 Tom E. Curran, of the Providence Journal, reports sources said the New England Patriots have agreed to terms with one of their own free agents, OL Stephen Neal (Patriots), on an undisclosed contract. I was hoping to get him would've been a nice addition and a step closer in improving our oline. Looks like it's draft or nothing
  14. I didnt see that thing about Mcgee. That would just be dumb to not use McGee on st's. he's quite possibly the best kr in the nfl. He'll continue in that role.
  15. I see one really good backup and 2 really good starters depending on spikes health. Stamer and Haggan have proved nothing as lb's but are valuable st's players. I wouldn't be suprised to see this addressed during the draft. Infact if AJ Hawk somehow slips to 8 that would look real smart in 2 years when fletcher and posey are gone, and Spikes hits 31 years of age. We're more then 1 player away. Although I think the most likely position to be addressed is dt or safety. To the original post evans is never going to be a "smaller version" of eric moulds. Evans is a great deep threat but I just dont see him ever being able to work the middle of the field like moulds could or being a true #1. Evans will need a serious presence at te or a good receiver or group of receiving threats to take pressure off of him. However the system Fairchild will be running will play to evans strengths. Honestly even losing moulds I think we're still well off with Evans/Reed/Davis/Parrish/Aiken.
  16. Very Awesome site indeed. Much thanks
  17. Major Props to Clumpy. Keeping doing what ya do it's mucho appreciated
  18. you never know with old sweat suit in charge. They probably wont though.
  19. These are the ones I wanted to talk about so I shall do that. First off.... 3. I understand Losman. Parrish was a useless pick but please dont put McGahee in that group. Especially considering he's reached 2000 yards faster then any bills rb in history. I hardly think he's under performed. 5. You're right/wrong. Right that the bills wont get "much" for a 32 year old wr. Wrong in assuming the bills have to cut hi, The Bills dont have to do anything with Moulds. They could keep him at his current salary and still have enough cap room to sign fre agents and draft picks. The only problem is Moulds doesn't play like a 10.1 million dollar wr. A Team like Denver with their draft picks might be willing to pony up a 4th rd pick. 6. Melvin Fowler is an upgrade from teague. Unlike Teague Fowler wont get man handled at the point of attack or thrown backwards. He also plays the c position with a nasty streak. Fairly athletic and strong. I view this as an upgrade. Robert Royal- I've pretty much seen all I wanted to ever see of Mark Campbell. He was brutaly bad and very slow. Royal is younger and a better blocker. Will fill the role of a Brandon Manumaleuna in Fairchilds offense. Maybe we'll get luck and he'll be to us what Jason Dunn is to Kansas City. If Everett comes back healthy I believe he can do some damage as a receiving threat. Matt Bowen- an upgrade I really hope we grab a safety or 2 in the draft. Thats a definite weak spot of our defense right now. Josh Reed was re-signed because you can always use some good wr's. While obviousily not living up to the hype he's proven himself to be a decent #3/#4 type wr. He'll continue in that role. Andre Davis was a good signing. Davis another speedster adds just that. He's also a good st's player. You can never have enough speed on your team and our offense the past few seasons has been lacking that outside of evans. Don't know much about Craig Nall packer fans I've talked to seem to like him so theres that. Maybe one of our qb's will step up hopefully.
  20. some people really can't. It's not even worth it pointing out the obvious even though it didn't work out here our current qb's wish they could be "as bad" as Bledsoe.
  21. 1. Guard- Hopefully Neal. I was of the mindset we needed 2 guards but I think preston will be able to compete against villarrial. Otherwise we go draft if we dont get Neal. 1b. Defensive Tackle- This is probably our most pressing need with only larry triplett and tim anderson currently on the roster. We need to draft at least 2 dt's, and sign one in free agency. 2. DE- Chris Kelsay has done nothing in this league and doesn't look like he'll do anything. Why there are people that think he's adequate is beyond me. Just cause he started for us, doesn't mean he's good it means the crap behind him was worse. Can be corrected via draft. 3. LB- Josh Stamer/Mario Haggan are good special teams players but I seriousily doubt they could fill in for Takeo Spikes or London Fletcher. This a big need especially if Spikes doesnt make it all the way back. Can be corrected via draft 4. Safety SS/FS- Troy Vincent is 35 or 36? Matt Bowen as our potential starting ss? Thats pretty bad. While I'd like to see Baker get every chance to win the ss job, this is a deep safety draft. This issue can be corrected via the draft. 5. Backup rb- Shaud Williams isn't as bad as people make him out to be but he's no guy that can handle 20-25 carries a game if willis goes down. In the event that happens I'd like someone who can. Not sure who's left via free agency. Not a great rb draft. other areas of need tackle- I didn't list this in my main list cause I think we can live with gandy another year. The interior of the oline is the big problem. fukllback- Daimon Shelton is a good blocker it's just too bad he is soooo slow. I'd like to see a guy who can catch some passes from this position, as well as block. Not looking for an allstar just an athletic youngster over shelton would suffice.
  22. No he was transitioned • A transition player designation gives the club a first-refusal right to match within seven days an offer sheet given to the player by another club after his contract expires. If the club matches, it retains the player. If it does not match, it receives no compensation. Transition players can be signed from March 3 through July 22." In some leagues, distinction is made between an unrestricted free agent and a restricted free agent. A restricted free agent is a player who can sign with another team, but with one or more restrictions. For example, the player's current team may have the right to match the terms and conditions of the contract offered by another team, or the current team may be entitled to compensation in the form of money or draft picks from the player's new team
  23. . Bunkley led the ncaa in tackles for a loss. Bunkley is the prototypical cover 2 dt. Faster, penetrating, but also very strong, strong enough that even the browns view him as a potential nt for their defense. Ngata meanwhile has had several nagging injuries throuhout college. While he does have decent speed for his size, like most guys that weight he'll have the same problem. Wearing down throughout the course of a game. This defense needs quicker linemen not fat slobs. The biggest problem we've had is the sloths who cant generate an upfield rush. Bunkley would fit the mold that Tommie Harris does in Chicago.
  24. Yup the only team with a winning record the rams played that year was the titans in week 8 and the rams lost 24-21. Yeah they went on and won the superbowl, but they had a cake walk regular season schedule. Still what they did on offense that year was really something special to watch.
