I think we should sign LaVar Arrington
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to Fan in San Diego's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldnt say he's overpaid seeing how he's currently not being paid, but the rest of it was pretty right. A Defense that relies on blitzing lb's would be perfect for arrington a 3-4 and honestly I thought gregg williams defense would've been a good fit. Arrington has talent but he likes to do his thing which can be a detriment when relying on a scheme. -
Those Wacky Fightin' Bills

Yeah but thats kind of unfair parrish would just outrun fat bennie. You'd have to even the playing field like put snow on the ground where parrish would become a deer in headlights. -

Those Wacky Fightin' Bills
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good. I think this team should be angry. They haven't had a personality to them in awhile, as long as they get it in order and use their anger on game day instead of acting like mindless drones I for one am happy that at least someone is angry even if they're newbies. I know all of this is probably nothing, but I'll take any news I can get right now. -
Or The nets Dont worry kovy the knicks will get it together. Keep the faith

What a killer Any animal trained poorly and especially known to be agressive in nature can act on its instincts and porus training, when properly trained they can be the sweetest animals. I've seen the absolute best in pits and the asbsolute worst and in every one I've seen it's usually because of the owner. The simple fact is know what you're getting before you get it, and have it properly trained. It's not the dogs that should be put down it's ignoramus breeders and owners. They're still animals and will act as such.

Calvin Johnson is awesome and would definitly be a great choice if not johnson next year I'd like Dwayne Jarrett 6'5 200 pretty good speed in his own right. I think he's a faster version of former usc wr mike williams. -
Bills go for a Mercedes?
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to Blue Chipper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a deep te draft, but if we're gonna draft a te other then the obvious of vernon davis I'd go with Leonard Pope from Georgia if he makes it to rd 2. Height: 6-7 3/4 | Weight: 258 | 40-Time: 4.62 Strengths: Has outstanding size and a large frame with long arms...Is very athletic...Excellent receiver with great hands...Can stretch a defense vertically...Can run after the catch a little...Tremendous leaper with great ball skills...Has good body control and will make the difficult catch...Knows how to use his size and has a knack for getting open...Gets off the line well and runs good routes...Has a lot of upside. Weaknesses: Can do a better job as a blocker but has the tools to improve in that area...Has good speed but it is not in the elite category...Needs some technique work...Can be more physical and show more of a mean streak, especially as a blocker...Got into some trouble as a youngster but by all accounts he turned himself around. Notes: Has a career average of 18.1 yards per catch...A rare physical specimen who is a terror to match up against and can be a major force in the passing game...Just the type of dynamic weapon the pros are looking for in the position these days. I'm pretty high on Pope and Lewis so either or would be fine by me -
What if the Bills didnt trade to get JP?
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to Blue Chipper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or if we didnt take JP we could've taken a linemen in rd 2 and Matt Schaub in rd 3, but like they say if what ifs and but's were beer and nuts. I wasn't a supporter of JP then or now but I'm still willing to be convinced otherwise. We'll see. -

I agree with you but not with your assessment. I hate when people use stats of te's like that. Brandon Manumaleuna is primarly a blocking te, and they used him as such. I dont think this an indictment that fairchild doesnt use the te's as much as it is Manumaleuna was used in the role he was suited for. Given a receiving threat at te I believe fairchild would use him. Within the air coryell system which I assume fairchild will use a version of since thats the system martz used you can have a blocking te and a receiving te ala the chiefs jason dunn and then tony gonzalez. Royal could fill that jason dunn/manumaleuna and everett or vernon davis in that tony gonzalez esque receiving role. I dont think thats out of the question. You use what you have available to you. -
Only good thing to come from the Bills leaving....

The Terrence Mcgee Patrol is out in full force. I'm sorry but Eric Moulds on a good team is easily a 1200 yard wr and still a #1. He'd take Terrence Mcgee to school. I like Mcgee but he's not a great cb. He's a good #2 and thats fine we still have our #1 corner. I still find it hard to rag on Clements, yeah he had a bad year but I dont think it was "as bad" as some of you make it out to be. I could just imagine what you guys would think of champ bailey on this team considering denvers pass defense was worse then ours. I also seem to remember Eric Moulds eating denvers secondary for dinner. He's still got game. Hopefully Evans can do half of what Moulds has done here.

I dont know all about the economics of it, since I don't live there but would it be viable to do what kc is doing/wants to do. Make renovations to improve the current stadium, and add a rolling roof? I ask cause I see people talking about building a new stadium, and well Arrowhead is just as old as Ralp Wilson Stadium if not older so just curious....

Just to clear this up Jabar Gaffney is no longer with the texans. He's with the eagles now but otherwise agreed. I also dont think it's a given they take reggie bush either.

This is Donahoe and Mularkey's fault!
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Drafted Evans, McGee and McGahee. Score, score and score for TD. And could you let Parris's hand heal before saying he can't play. No player gets voted into the Hall of Fame after year one. Also, Moulds had a contract for this season. The reason he is not here is not TD. It's Marv's decision. No one else but Marv's. So trying to somehow blame TD is weak. If your mad about Moulds leaving then let Marv know. 652696[/snapback] I think the salary cap stuff is overrated. Moulds over wiley was a no brainer now onto the other stuff Drafting Evans and Mcgahee and Losman. I like Lee Evans I really do but we lost pat williams in 2004 and sam adams this year Tommie Harris or Vince Wilfork would look really nice right now. Willis Mcgahee is one of my favorite players. Hell my handle is after him. Eric Steinback would look good at guard for us right now. You didn't mention Losman but I did because well it was a TD move. Trading 3 picks for a guy who had/has questionable character and leadership ability and happy feet is a very questionable move. We could've had Matt Schaub and gave up nothing. TD did some things right like managing the cap and overall bringing in good free agents. However I think he did a real poor job adressing our overall needs like defensive depth and linemen on both sides of the ball. Oh and a little thing called fielding a winning team. -
got this off a kffl message board thought it was interesting stat

Who has the better record next year?
MartyBall4Buffalo replied to Billsguy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Call me crazy but I dont think reggie bush can be a 16 game 20-25 carry a game type rb. I'm a much bigger Lendale White fan then Reggie Bush. Bush will be good for a team where he can split carries with another good rb, so Houston makes sense. I'd rather have Willis. -
Schaub was the guy I wanted in 04, I still think he'll be a hell of a starting qb somewhere soon.

Man that must've took some long hours of tough research to draw the conclussion that Levy is old and may die in the coming years. What brainstorm is next.....
