  1. Yes, brett favre is dicking around that team hard, and I'm sure they could find someone to throw 30 ints and they're capable of winning 3-5 games with or without him. The Packers managment has no balls to do the right thing, instead they're staying sentimental. It's mostly favres fault but the packers management is just as much at fault.
  2. ahh ok sorry I misunderstood you then I thought you meant it's not worth it to give up the 3rd
  3. except duane starks has been done since he left baltimore in 2001. Dwight Smith is still rather productive and only 28 years old to starks 32
  4. Given the current safety situation I'd give up a 3rd for Dwight Smith. He's a proven relativly young safety. That would be a good move. I'd be happier giving up a 4th but I could deal with a 3rd.
  5. I dont even think it's about that. If Spikes can ever play at say 80-85% of his former self he'd still start, Hawk would be an automatic upgrade over crowell/posey. Posey and Fletcher are hitting the wrong side of 30 and tko will be 31 in 2 years. Other then crowell haggan and stamer haven't proved they can fill in and start. So if Hawk falls.... well I'd still want Bunkley but it is something to consider.
  6. Voted for bunkley. No way I take a te at 8. Especially in a deep te class. I'd be annoyed with ngata.
  7. Playing devils advocate here for a second. It depends which version of price we're getting. Givens has never reached 60 catches in a season or over 900 yards, and the most tds he's ever had in a season is 6 in 2003. He has 5 in the last 2 years. I like Givens but he's no world beater. Price and Davis both have more career td's then givens. 28 for price 14 for davis and 12 for givens. A higher ypc average 15.7 for davis to givens 14. Givens obviousily has been a playoff stud, he just hasn't done much in the regular season to say without a doubt that he's better then price and davis. I'll concede to it if Price is as bad as he was last year, but honestly even at his 2004 level he's equal to givens.
  8. Too bad about kevin thomas I thought he was pretty decent at least as a nickel back. I guess Kiwuaka(sp?) thomas and eric king will fight for that now. I dont get re-signing fast freddy but whatever.
  9. The thing about gandy is he's decent at best. Not a world beater and not horrible. He's definitly not a top tier lt and wouldn't start for most teams in the league. We'd be best served getting a guy who can fill that position once and for all. Improving one spot on the line can truly improve the entire line. I'd like gandy better as a guard or backup then as our starting lt. However I can deal with him there if major overhauls happen at the guard spots. Davin Joseph and Charles Spencer would be huge steps in the right direction.
  10. pretty much... oh and he's named after his uncle
  11. Yeah Jesus is a bit of a stiff, and some of his decisions at times can be questioned, but he's a true leader, and his teammates will definitly go to battle for him.
  12. Sorry but this doesnt hold water. We could've had Matt Schaub in the 3rd. There are other qb's besides 1st rounders..... Not to mention Charlie Frye we could've had last year. It wasn't just losman smith or rodgers.
  13. Ok Haloti..... I'm on to you Yup because Broderick Bunkley is a beast. 66 tackles 25 for a loss and 9 sacks and extremely strong. Yes he's hopefully definitly the guy.
  14. Id be worried that justice would go a little bit earlier then that as he's been shooting up draftboards. Oh and about your mock draft I'd take Jason Allen out it seems he failed a physical with the cowboys and dolphins and is really shooting down the draft boards now.
  15. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God" (Matthew 5:9)
  16. Right on. Gionta and Gomez have come up pretty big. Hopefully it carries over into the playoffs.
  17. Bunkley most definitly bunkley. I like Vernon Davis I just dont like a te at 8 regardless of who it is. Especially in a te deep draft. Marcedes Lewis or Leonard Pope could be there in the 2nd and I dont consider either one of them an extreme drop off from Davis. However after Bunkley and Ngata I consider the rest of the dts a drop off. I'm intrigued by McCargo and Jonathan lewis though.
  18. I would bang the hell out of katherine McPhee I'll pass on Broke Back Bronco.
  19. If you're gonna split someone eles post into paragraphs at least start a new paragraph with the beginning of a sentence and not half of a previous word just saying......
  20. Bills | D. Curran works out for team Wed, 12 Apr 2006 20:15:16 -0700 Paul Sheehy, of ProStar Sports Agency, has confirmed to KFFL free agent FB Dan Curran (Saints) worked out for the Buffalo Bills Wednesday, April 12, at their facility. Curran is currently the leading rusher in the AFL. Anyone watch arena footbal or know anything about this guy? Mike Reiss, of the Boston Globe, citing ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli, reports New England Patriots DE Richard Seymour's contract extension is worth around $30 million. I wonder how many years I figured they'd really have to dig deep to keep seymour around, but 30 mil for the best dt/de in football is well worth it.
  21. Good to hear about the bunkley visit. Hopefully it manifests itself into a draft pick and we can really get a cover 2 attacking type defense that actually gets pressure on the qb from the dline, and not the same old hefty bag dt's
  22. Ok that has to be a satire but thats what I call getting burned. Losing a chick to Chris Berman
