  1. LMFAO This the the funniest sh-- I've read on here in awhile thanks for the laugh
  2. I dont think Ferguson will be a bust, but I dont think he's gonna be an all world ot. I think hes the best tackle in a not so great class. I can see Winston Justice if his character issues are behind him actually being the better pro. Ferguson is great in pass protection his run blocking leaves a lot to be desired. He uses his hands extremely well but he wont ever simply blow someone off the ball. The highly touted prospect I see falling is Vince Young, teams will be scared away by his throwing style and questions about his intelligence. Heck of an athlete but definitly not the sharpest tool in the shed.
  3. Haloti Ngata is definitly more of a Pat Williams type then Sam Adams. He doesnt have Adams burst off the line. He'll stand pat and when he does get pressure he'll simply rely on his size to overpower offensive linemen. Doesn't have the greatest form on tackling once again simply relying on his size to devour the ballcarrier. He wouldnt be a bad choice but he just seems raw, and I dont think he'd make an impact right away. Broderick Bunkley is still my choice. He's quicker off the line. Uses his hands a lot better then Ngata and has better form on tackles. Capable of getting interior pressure but also holding point to clog a lane. Capable of also being a 3-4 de or even a de in nickle and dime packages. his closing speed is something else. Capable of overpowering guards but gives the quickness needed to pressure up the middle of the line. I think he'll make the bigger impact right away and will enable your defense to throw out more looks. Whether its bunkley or ngata I'd still like to come away with 2 dts out of this draft.
  4. Yup and we had just enough threat of a passing game. Cause whether you liked bledsoe or not defenses would respect his arm enough to know he can get the ball to any receiver on the field, The run blocking was good, pass protection down the stretch was great something like 13 sacks allowed in the last 9 games of 04. The defense played great especially in the 2nd half of games albeit against not so great competition, but you play who you play. The team did not need to be gutted heading into 05. Some minor adjustments and we could've competed last year, now we're back to square one heading into this draft.
  5. if we had a oline that could run block and a credible passing game like every other team with a good/great rb yeah I do. unfortunatly at this time we dont so no he wont.
  6. Good old classy filthy fans. This gem from Philly Billy I really hope you guys finish them off in 4
  7. yeah that is pretty stupid. I'm a devils fan but theres no reason to show the same game on 3 different stations
  8. Hmm shouldn't this man and his wife have known this before they got the house. I'm sure they werent going around saying "Hey I know this house is built ontop of an old mine but this is just a killer good house" "Is my house going to cave in and eat me" just seems like something I'd like to know beforehand to avoid tragic accidents like this.
  9. This is the first time in a few years I honestly have no feelings one way or the other toward the draft. My feelions are I'm somwhere in the middle of we cant get much worse/I trust Marv to make sound football decisions.
  10. Not in an Urban Meyer spread option offense he wont be. Leak is such a horrible fit for that system.
  11. good win for the sabres and yes that hit was clean and legal and nasty Umberger got Lindrossed
  12. I think just like greenbay we can manage to win 3-5 games with or without favre. He might not be physically done, but mentally it's gone and has been going the past few seasons. Pass
  13. 1. HOUSTON - Mario Williams 2. NYJ(from NO) - Reggie Bush 3. TENNESSEE - Matt Leinart 4. NO(from NYJ) - D'BrickShaw Ferguson 5. GREEN BAY - AJ Hawk 6. SAN FRAN - Vernon Davis 7. OAKLAND - Michael Huff 8. BUFFALO - Broderick Bunkley 9. DETROIT - Ernie Sims 10. ARIZONA - Vince Young
  14. I think Price would've found moderate success elsewhere with a qb who could actually get him the ball. Mike Vick will never be anything more then he is now an extremely athletic qb who cant hit the broad side of a barn yard door. Great athlete lousy qb.
  15. Unreal. God bless that family and that dog for overcoming it's deformities.
  16. cant say I've ever watched a northwestern st game so I wont pretend to know anything about pittman but this is promising. Notes: Also a great special teams player...Head coach Scott Stoker says he's as good a cover guy as he's been around and that includes Terrence McGee...One of the top sleeper prospects in the entire draft and has some physical tools to develop. a little undersized I think he could add some bulk at least 10lbs but yeah. I could definitly live with the other 3 picks in their mock. NFL Draft countdown generally knows there stuff.
  17. Most definitly not taking alexander in fantasy football.
  18. The thing that scares me about hali isn't his lack of speed, cause he has great closing speed the problem with him is short arms and his first inital step. I just have this feeling he'll get dominated at the nfl level due to not getting off the ball quick enough and having linemen get into him and not being able to fight his way off. I think he'll be a decent de but by no means a star.
  19. "Fast" Willie Parker or Shaun Alexander
  20. I absolutely love this draft, especially getting cromartie especially under the premise if we cant keep clements beyond the 06 season. Cromartie has all world ability but he's raw so spending a year behind clements/mcgee and learning the system and being ready to step in next year would be a great way to go. I also love the roman harper and cofield picks. I'd replace watkins with another guard but other then that I like it.
