  1. ha Im fully expecting that Dominque Byrd or Anthony Fasano
  2. Not that Im gonna complain about whitner or mccago cause I happen to like both of them. Whitner not where he was picken but I am happy about McCargo I thought he was the 2nd best dt in the draft after bunkley, but after 1 rd the jets have Dbrickshaw and Nick Mangold and we have Mike Gandy and a guy named Melvin
  3. Picking Donte Whitner is fine. Picking Donte Whitner at 8 when we could've had him at 15 with an extra 3rd rd pick... well thats not so fine.
  4. Much easier to let the rbs get exhausted after 25 carries for 160 yards but hey we got a hard hitting safety as the last line of defense
  5. except levi jones is a lt a premium position. I would've been happy reaching for winston justice. Reaching for a safety ughhh
  6. Whitner would've been fine at say 15. Whitner at 8?!?!??! Someone spiked Levys apple sauce. they got some esplanin to do. Seems like a panic move in not getting Huff. I dont get it
  7. The only player worth trading up for (Mario Williams) is gone so a resounding HELL NO to trading up!!!!
  8. personally I disagree with the post above me this is the best thread ever. It shows the versatility, character, intangibles and high motor needed to be the foundation of a succesful internet message board
  9. 2000 1 Cleveland Courtney Brown DE Penn State
  10. It was a great choice for houston. No glorified 3rd down back should be taken #1 overall. At least they avoided the same mistake they made last time when they took carr over peppers
  11. Not that I'm calling myself an expert or anything http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...74entry667374
  12. still better then us the last 3 years. Where the panthers have ranked 2005= 22nd in yards 8th in points 16th in pass offense 19th in rush offense 2004- 10th in pass offense 28th in rush offense 13th overall in yards and 13th in points 2003- 16th in yards and 15th in points. 21st in pass offense 7th in rush offense. compared to us they look pretty good. I'll settle for the terribly average panthers offense compared to the 3 yards and cloud of dust we've been running. Granted I dont know about Reyes so I'll just wait and see and then I'll form my opinion. We still need to come out of thise draft with a guard maybe 2.
  13. lmao that would be so like the jets
  14. Personally I didnt see any chance D'Brickshaw made it to 8 even if the texans would've taken bush, so I see no change.
  15. HA only in your dreams kovy. I'll be bringing out the broom tomorrow. How Sweep it is
  16. that was an awesome block, we're gonna miss that in our offense. I know a lot of people around here like to knock moulds now but he wont be easily replaced.
  17. We got a winner. For the record kudos to the texans for making the right decision. Not only do de's generally have a longer shelf life, but Mario Williams will be an all pro de while bush will merely be a glorifed 3rd down back.
  18. Possible reasons wr- Santonio Holmes te- Leonard Pope or Marcedes Lewis ot- Winston, McNeil og- davin jospeh c- nick mangold lb- Bobby Carpenter de- Kiwanuka, Hali dt- Gabe Watson, John McCargo cb- antonio cromartie (I wish but he'll probably be gone before 27) tye hill, s- Jimmy williams(I know he was a corner he's a safety in the nfl though) Jason Allen, Donte Whitner, KO Simpson some of these guys will probably be gone, but one of them could be the reason. My guess is either winston, mccargo or a safety.
  19. Obviousily my first choice would be Mario Williams, but out of these choices definitly AJ Hawk. Can't go wrong with Buckeye defenders.
  20. Antoine Winfield and Brian Kelly. Thats off the top of my head. Suffice to say though theres not many. I think what seems liks a majority of bills fans rip on Nate as if he's a bottom of the barrel cb when his stats clearly say different. Nates season this past season reminded me of Champ Baileys 04 season. Where he got burned quite a bit, and really didnt make an impact. Bailey bounced back with 7 ints this past season but for the record denvers pass defense ranked lower then ours. Nate is a top corner and only 25 years old just entering the prime of his career. Hopefully he sticks around. However if someone like Ashton Youboty is available in the 2nd I'd jump on that, if the bills dont think they'll be able to sign Nate Long term. Have Youboty learn from the nickle spot for a year and try to trade nate next season.
  21. When you're the packers you're pretty much gonna have to overspend on players, but yes it is a lot of money not only for someone who's injury prone but who's better off playing safety
  22. Trading down to anything past 15 puts you in a position where you're losing out on ngata, bunkley and justice and you're talking the best prospects available being db's like jimmy williams, cromartie, donte whitner, and a wr like santonio holmes or chad jackson. If we do trade down I hope it's not too far just enough to pick up an additional pick in the 2nd or 3rd.
