Drew Bledsoe himself declared playoffs or bust in 2004. If he can't live up to his own exptections, I doubt the franchise will grant him more time to rebuild his shattered psyche. Although, I sincerely hope Bledsoe comes to life because I want JP Losman to spend a year or two on the bench without being hurried into the starting role. Similar to Chad Pennington's situation in NY.

You haven't really had enough. Being a Bills fan is all about sado-masochism. Twenty straight losses to the dolphins in the 70's? Four straight superbowl losses? The music city miracle? Nine years without a division crown? I recall a close family member declaring himself a Dolphin fan after the playoff loss to Jacksonville in 1997. That lasted about 5 minutes. I've destroyed much memorabilia in my day. You can't leave the Bills even if you want to. And if you do... you'll be back, they all come back.

Keeping Travis Brown is imperative. He has the best qualities for a ball control offense; IE--he's decisive, has a quick release, has nice touch on short passes, and uses good footwork to avoid dumb sacks. If Bledsoe struggles or gets hurt, I'd happily roll the dice on Brown. I think he'd do well.
