Joe B All-22 review of Jets game
buffaloboyinATL replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The biggest difference between him and anyone else on this board, is that he was able to get enough people interested in his opinion about the Bills, to make a living off of it. I am jealous. For the record, sometimes his opinion confirms what I saw, and sometimes I disagree with his opinion. That's the beauty of it. You're never wrong and you're never right at the same time. -
Milano and Edmunds OUT against Miami
buffaloboyinATL replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope that this is just because McDermott is so confident that we will crush the Doplphins he could be cautious with them and give them extra recovery time. AJ Epenesa time? He IS wearing a Linebacker number. -

Oh damn, that sucks. I was hoping Edmunds would be ready. -
Happy Burrow not in AFC East
buffaloboyinATL replied to gmanbfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. He made some mistakes and it is clear that the Bengals had the number one pick for a reason. They will need to invest heavily in the O-line and the defense in order to give Burrow a chance at being successful in Cincinnati. -
Current TBD Whipping Boy?

Seeing so many “other” votes are saying Bass, I have a feeling he would probably be second, after Ford and before Murphy. -

I voted Ford. I don't personally believe he deserves it, but he seems to be the biggest target right now. But like @DrDawkinstein said above, it tends to change as the season progresses. -
How did the right side of the OL fare Sunday?
buffaloboyinATL replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Ford, and the O line in general, will look much better when Daboll draws up a gameplay focussing on the run game. I think we had a pretty vanilla run game plan against the Jets, and primarily focussed on succeeding with the pass. Hopefully we see a power run game behind this line very soon. -
Current TBD Whipping Boy?

I almost added him to the poll but I think the love for his Dad bought him a few weeks... -
Ok, @eball's thread about being wrong about Murphy got me thinking. If Murphy is starting to lose his whipping boy status on Two Bills Drive, who is the next man up. Last year it was Star, with Murphy and Cody Ford not too far behind. Who is it this year, still Murphy, or has someone else taken the title? What say you?

Mea culpa...I was wrong about Trent Murphy...

Oh man, if Murphy loses his whipping boy status, and Star is not playing, who is next man up? Poor Ed Oliver... -
What does Darnold's performance say about Jordan Palmer?
buffaloboyinATL replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nothing? If anything, it is more reflective of Darnold, not one of his coaches. -
Week 2: Bills at Dolphins

Man, Dan Orlovsky is raving about Josh Allen and Brian Daboll on NFL Live right now. Saying how amazing it is that Allen was able to turn perceived weaknesses out of college, "no touch on the ball" and "eye discipline" (ability to look off defenders etc) into strengths. He credited Daboll and Ken Dorsey for the improvement, along with Josh's hard work. -
The stats are good (thanks for putting them together) but the truth is, regardless of his stats, his veteran presence was obvious on Sunday. Great blocking, taking huge hits and holding onto the ball, pointing Allen towards open receivers (Knox in corner of end zone) etc. Diggs is fun to watch and he and Brown are the best 1-2 WR combo we have had in years.
