  1. Yup, I will second the Beasley love. I also liked seeing Star back on the field and look forward to seeing the impact he has on game days.
  2. Oh man, I didn’t even think of that. If Oliver takes a step forward this year, we are going to be such a dangerous Defense to play against.
  3. Maybe they’d rather take a closer look at guys who have a chance of making the team instead.
  4. A) I feel so bad for Etienne. I really liked him in college and hope that he will be a good pro. (even though I don't really like the Jags) B) I feel so bad for Trevor Lawrence. He may actually die behind that O-line.
  5. I was just watching NFL Total Access prior to the Giants-Browns game. Their take away was Justin Fields is awesome and the Bills took a cheap helmet to helmet shot at him. Their “highlights” started in the 3rd quarter with us up 41-6. Apparently we had no highlights worth showing prior to that.
  6. Not to mention, we are trying to win a Super Bowl this year, and having an above average QB2, especially given the aggressive nature of Josh’s game, is extremely important.
  7. I thought about this immediately when Zimmer got injured yesterday. He DID stay in the game, but I still wouldn’t rule it out.
  8. I finally found time to read this article, and I am glad that I did. Sounds like a great young man, and I will definitely be rooting for him even more going forward.
  9. OK, I have always been curious. Bill's lyrics have always seemed to be chosen specifically because of something that happened in the game, or a point he was trying to make. Did he do this on purpose, or did I just read too much into it? Secondly, do you do this when selecting your lyrics?
  10. New update: broken back. (well, small fracture, out 6-8 weeks)
  11. That was a pleasant read. I know it is repetitive to most of us, but keep in mind, he writes for a National audience. For many readers, they are still getting introduced to John Allen, so the “re-cap” is necessary. I noticed he said that Basham has looked good in camp. Everyone who was talking about waiving him and “sneaking” him onto the practice squad, may want to take a slight pause on his crucifixion, after half of one preseason game. His quote: “I heard good things about Basham (57 tackles behind the line in four Wake Forest seasons) in camp. “His inside-outside versatility’s been impressive,” Beane said. We shall see.”
  12. Well... he did say 9 teams would regret him being drafted. Apparently, he is trying to deliver on that promise. 😛
  13. Wherever he goes, teams immediately draft their QB of the future. No one seems to see enough there, to try and develop him. I see a career backup who will have a few good games or maybe even season, in relief, after 8-10 years in the league and then end up back on the bench til he retires.
  14. Yeah, but you still have to get them onto the practice squad before you can protect them, correct? He would get picked up before he ever made our PS.
  15. Of course, the paper is that play sheet that Andy Reid is holding in his hands. And because of his brilliance as a play caller, they are also a tiger on the field.
  16. I imagine he will be getting into coaching at some point.
  17. I now realize how much I miss Allen, Diggs and Beasley!
  18. That take didn’t age well. I think Bears fans are now praying that something DOES happen to Dalton.
  19. I think he will look very good at times, but when the pressure intensifies, like the red zone, or the end of a game, or (maybe someday) the playoffs, he will fall short. Which, of course, makes me happy.
  20. Even while being animated by Whoopi Goldberg.
  21. Brissett looks better than Tua though. 😛
  22. Tua looks pretty good the first 80 yards, but struggles with the final 20. 😛
  23. Dude! That face mask looks so good on Josh!
