The Late Great John Facenda

Before I click anything, I assume you mean John Facenda? “The Autumn Wind is a pirate...” (you may get more clicks if you edit the subject.) -
OT: Are you concerned about Mac Jones?

Count me in the “not right now” camp. I do believe that he could eventually become a formidable pro QB along the lines of what Brady was with Belicheck, but hopefully Belicheck is fishing along side Jimmy Johnson by the time he reaches that potential. -
Mostly the covid gap year. And I couldn’t be happier...

Going to the airport, along with many other fun things Bills fans do, is a Rite of Passage. Our kids have watched us do all these shenanigans for years and in many cases, couldn’t wait til they were old enough to carry on the tradition. Why stop doing fun things?

Yeah, that slide cos me a win in Fantasy, BUT, I would much rather he protect his body and live to play another day...

Does anyone out there track time to punt, the same way they track a QB's release time? -
ESPN's MNF broadcast is unwatchable

I decided to watch the Manning version this week on ESPN 2. That was fun. You don’t get play by play commentary, but the insight and breakdown from Peyton is unparalleled. I still like the normal format for games that I am interested in, but for games like last night, this was highly entertaining. -
My favorite part was when they had Gronk on. Eli and Peyton both tried to break down plays and get Gronk’s feedback and he basically said I don’t watch film, I just run by guys and catch it. Peyton was genuinely irritated and his inability to break down a play. Gronk also said something to the effect of.... If I have any questions, I ask Tom, he watches a bunch of film, that’s why I like playing with him.

How Much Will Epenesa Get Fined?
buffaloboyinATL replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m assuming my this post is a joke? That was a completely clean hit. He even caught himself at the end so he wouldn’t drive him into the ground. Textbook legal hit. -
Wow! Definitely a higher spread than I expected. It appears that Vegas has more faith in Josh than many fans do. Personally, I was expecting 6.5 The WFT Defense makes me nervous. Definitely playing some good Defenses out of the gate. I think their front 7 is pretty good, but their secondary can be exploited. Hopefully, this bodes well for our Offense, as long as Chase Young doesn't kill Josh.

Last year, it seemed like Allen and Beasley read eachothers minds and Allen knew where he would be if he needed an outlet. I am not seeing that yet. I attribute it to getting used to the new receiver in the room, but maybe that is not it. But as of right now, I am not worried, I believe what I saw last year was real, and they will all be on the same page soon. <fingers crossed>

One new receiver can absolutely change the chemistry. There are plays where he normally would look for Beasley or Diggs where he appears to be trying to force it to Sanders. I believe they will get their rhythm and timing down as they get experience together (Allen and all of the WR’s) but only time will tell for sure.
-
He is out of synch a bit this year compared to last, which I attribute in part to figuring out how Sanders fits in. But he still makes plays most QB’s can’t or wouldn’t dare try. That doesn’t mean we have our heads in the sand, it means we trust what we’ve seen enough to know he will get better as the season goes on.

From an old school football fan’s perspective, he was awesome. I was very entertained! by the way, he called it fair on both sides and he and his partner clearly did their research.

OK, strangest stat that I have ever heard. Today’s Cowboys versus Vikings game is the first game in NFL history with a 14-11 score at halftime. Crazy that has never happened before.
