  1. Bills working out a potential replacement for Poyer... just in case.
  2. Multiple holding penalties that go uncalled, tend to compromise gap integrity. Just please not on Thanksgiving.
  3. Tiger Woods used to always say, it is not how many shots are between me and the Leader that matters, it’s how many other golfers that matters. I believe his point was if one or two players were ahead of him he trusted his ability enough to make up any deficit, but if there are 10 players between him and the lead, even if the gap is closer, there are many more variables to overcome. This is how I feel about the AFC. Way more variables to overcome. PS: per the bold part above, Josh Allen and the Bills said hi.
  4. Haha! I can see it now. The new head coach was watching practice and Peterman walked by. He immediately said “oh crap! Peterman is still here? I thought Gruden took him with him. Cut him immediately!”
  5. You think he road to the SuperBowl is easier in the AFC? There are 5 teams in the NFC that have a shot (Tampa, GB, Cardinals, Rams and Cowboys primarily) but in the AFC, there are at least 10 in the conversation (Buffalo, Chiefs, Ravens, Chargers, Browns, Bengals, Steelers, Patriots,Titans, Raiders maybe Colts?) Maybe you’re right that the NFC is more top heavy, but the AFC is much deeper in my opinion.
  6. I am looking at tickets now, because it is only a 5 hour drive for me, but I haven’t seen any “deals” yet. I can’t imagine this game will be anywhere near a sellout.
  7. Good. I believe that Beane is constantly searching for ways to improve this team, without mortgaging the future. Happy to have confirmation.
  8. Watson to the Fins? It will cost them way too much. Hope he never plays...
  9. And then when that is done let’s target all of the employees of Microsoft because it is an important part of American culture and they get a bunch of tax breaks, so we have to hold them to a higher standard. Oh, and when that witch hunt is done, let’s review the private communications of all federal employees, because they work for the taxpayers and we have the right to know what they say and do behind closed doors. Where do you draw the line?
  10. Hahaha! Let’s release all the private emails of the self righteous “members of Congress” and then you’ll see real fear.
  11. Rams/Lions, Cardinals/Texans and most likely Bucs/Bears will be blow outs. Everything else is at least a bit interesting. That being said, there will be plenty to talk about on all games I am sure. i am most interested in Bengals/Ravens and Chiefs Titans.
  12. What does Marcellus look like?
  13. There will be some fun responses to this one I am sure. I am always respectful to any Bills players I see in public, but I will usually throw a “Go Bills” at them as I pass by.
  14. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I prefer Knox by far, but in a year like this, when we are clearly making a run to go deep into the playoffs, I expect us to try and fill any potential holes. Beane may have considered Ertz as a short term rental if he were still available.
  15. If this had happened a week sooner, we would most likely have upped our offer for Ertz. The injury sucks, as does the timing.
  16. Depends which fan base it is. We all remember the ones who were sympathetic during our misery and which ones relished in our misery. Pats* fans are among the worst and I hope they have 20 years of futility ahead, to weed out all of the bandwagon fans who say they have been fans “their whole lives”. Dude, you’re 30 years old, they’ve been good since you’ve started watching football.
  17. As much as I dislike the Cardinals, a Brownie beat down will be fun to watch.
  18. This just in, Sam Darnold still sucks.
  19. So wait, is Justin Herbert still the best quarterback in the history of the NFL, or were the “experts” maybe a bit premature with that?
  20. Wow. The Chargers are really struggling against the run.
  21. This is officially the “No one wants to win Bowl”
  22. Well, other than former NBA player Mike Smrek, who attended Canisius in the late 80’s, same as me.
  23. Hahaha! Are they both trying to lose?!
  24. I’ll be damned. The Jags have a TE who played basketball for Canisius: “Chris Manhertz is an American football tight end for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League. He was signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He played college basketball at Canisius College.” https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Manhertz
