Bills signing Quinton Jefferson; Update..AND Jordan Phillips
buffaloboyinATL replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I seem to remember a shoulder injury the second time he was here. But the first time was pretty solid. -
I also just confirmed that it is the longest in the history of our stadium. The Cardinals had a 60 yarder in 2016.
-
Yup. I call em butt cheek clenchers. But now that he has proven he can hit the long one in a very pressure filled situation, I can hopefully start relaxing my glutes. p.s. I believe that is the Bills franchise record… *confirmed. also the longest ever in the history of our stadium. The Cardinals had a 60 yarder in 2016.

Josh’s TD run was MVP awesome, before Josh was robbed again.

That really is an awful call, no hold and no push in the back. Just good blocking and great elusiveness by QB1. -
Our style of Defense can be nerve wracking to watch, because the opponent tends to move the ball downfield, slowly but surely. The key is that we either have to bow up in the red zone, and hold them to a FG, or be opportunistic, and force a turn over. I personally prefer this style, because it limits the big plays from our opponents. This style requires very strong tackling ability, and unfortunately we missed at the initial point of contact yesterday, and that lead to so big plays. That is part of why getting a sure tackler like Milano back in the mix, will make a big improvement in our run defense. (IMO)

The decision to go for the FG - right or wrong?

Like Herm said - “You play to win the game”! if it doesn’t work out, you count on your Defense to get you into overtime. -

Bass Poyer! Shakir Not sure why Poyer plays us so dirty, and I hope Coleman is ok, but Po came up big for us today. -

Is that like the rule when you don't hit your drive past the ladies tee? Diggs out...
-
I agree with this. I am pretty sure that he is our center of the future, they are just going to bring him along slowly.

Diggs hurt (Torn ACL - out for the season)
buffaloboyinATL replied to fasteddie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does he have a $16 million hit next year? I thought he reworked his deal with them to make himself a free agent. Which means he will get less next year because a team will have to sign him and let him rehab on their dime. -
So wait, Bill Coleman? it is fun watching the chemistry between Keon and Josh starting to develop. Cooper’s presence seems to have accelerated his development a bit for some reason too.
-
Someone should tell him he is named after an Italian meat.

Rams May Want to Trade Tre White
buffaloboyinATL replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they do, will everybody say they are in rebuilding mode because they are letting go one of their most valuable players on defense? Before the season, the media made a huge deal of us, losing White and Poyer, but most of us knew their best days were in the rear view, unfortunately. -
Godwin injury ... hip drop???
buffaloboyinATL replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they really wanted to eliminate the hip drop tackle, they would enforce it the same way college enforces targeting. Instead, they turned it into a fund raiser. Take money from the players, rather than enforce it on the field? They know that players are willing to take that risk. They would be much less willing if they risk hurting their team via their ejection. THAT would be protecting the players, and would make it happen less often. The NFL is trying to protect the shield, more than they are protecting the players on this one. -

Hello Demarcus Lawrence. (Option that won’t break the bank). -
100% Cooper. It would still be Cooper, even if their compensation was equal.
