  1. Right? How is that not a "swing for the fences"...
  2. I would love Max Duggan as a long term backup solution, and would be ok with Beane using our 5th round pick, or later on him. He is athletic, but also thinks like a coach.
  3. I don’t disagree. I was hoping for Lavonte David, now Bobby Wagner. Glaring need at this point, and MLB’s tend to go early in the draft.
  4. I remember thinking something similar during the season. These are really hard players to replace, (I include Milano as well) and when you have 2 or 3 of them missing at the same time, it creates weaknesses that can be exploited.
  5. I'm pretty sure that's it. They showed clips of it on NFLN. I'm curious to see the team he chooses. I wonder if he will be chasing a ring, or just looking for the highest bidder.
  6. See? It is witty banter like that, that makes it all worthwhile. Sorry that I missed the thread from over a month ago, that was probably 15 pages back, but thank you from keeping us all safe from redundancy.
  7. What? and miss out on all of the abuse that I got for starting a topic? What fun is that...
  8. I’M delusional? The Steelers say hello…
  9. Honestly, it is not something that I would do, but it is something that I could see Beane doing. He supposedly had interest in Christian McCaffrey last year too. He seems intent on bringing in, or possibly developing, a dual threat RB.
  10. Great point, all we need to do now is get Andy Reid to call the plays for us…
  11. An argument for another day perhaps, but in my opinion, Diggs is not just motivated by money, he wants to win too.
  12. Beane has been trying to bring in a running back who is also a strong receiver, and Cook absolutely fits that mold. That being said, I would much rather bring in another OL or a LB or 2, but I could see this happening.
  13. Well, it is a need, until we either re-sign Singletary, or draft one.
  14. Really? Why? He would be a nice upgrade if he can stay healthy, and might help his brother take the next step. I like Cook as a player, so I think I would like it, Of course, I am thinking we get him for a 3rd round pick or so.
  15. We should have signed Deonte Harris instead...
  16. Dalvin Cook seems like one of those players that Diggs might consider restructuring his contract for. For some reason, that seems like the kind of splash trade that Beane would make. This would be a great energy boost for Diggs, as well as a certain young RB on our roster with the same last name. My gut says it could happen, and if it did, I would be thrilled. (depending on what it cost from a trade perspective)
  17. Feels like it’s going to happen soon, too.
  18. I am hoping we get Max Duggan in rounds 6 or 7. He has a high football IQ and a complimentary style to Josh. He can be developed into Josh's backup for the next few years.
  19. We will draft Max Duggan in rounds 5-7 and have him be Josh's backup for the next few years. When he did the whiteboard session with Steve Mariucci, he clearly had a very high football IQ. In my opinion, that, coupled with his style of play, make him an intriguing backup QB prospect.
  20. Seriously? How do you re-structure a fully guaranteed contract without adding years to the deal? The article says they converted salary into a signing bonus, but if it was already fully guaranteed, why would that matter? I want them to choke on that contract, so I hate seeing that there are loopholes available to them. Anyone get how this works? https://news.yahoo.com/ap-source-browns-restructure-watson-134639003.html
  21. I have to believe that if there was a video, that showed any physical contact beyond a handshake, TMZ would have it by now. I would guess that Marriott would "leak" any physical evidence, if they had any, just to make the lawsuit go away. I know that doesn't prove that he didn't say something inappropriate, but if he did, her reaction could be a clue.
  22. It is either a health concern, (I hope not) or he is trying to get out from under McDermott's shadow, like Bienemy did with Andy Reid. Time will tell, but I hope he is OK.
  23. Way to set the bar low.
  24. Lol. That boy will have a great career selling insurance in Georgia when his football career is over, if nothing else.
  25. Not a regression. Way too many contributing factors this year. He will be fine next season.
