  1. LOL. We'll know he prepped them if they bring in two extra LB's for coverage and leave their corners on the bench.
  2. I am hoping that they are just giving a bunch of players a chance to make the team by excelling on Special Teams. Once the roster is closer to set we should see a more cohesive unit. I hope I'm right about that because they did look bad on Thursday.
  3. Ha! I love subtle humor, even if some people miss it.

  5. So what does your Mom do for a living? Does her job ever call for her to kneel or lie down? Does her boss have a big purple hat with a feather?
  6. in the third round, would you be happy? I know the "experts" like Mel Kiper would be raving about what a good job we did but in my opinion we would be in worse shape than we are now. I'm amazed at how many people are complaining about what a bad draft we had just because we passed up on a few of the mock draft darlings. Nix got us a bunch of hard workers who have the potential to make an immediate impact, not 3 "projects" who may or may not produce in the NFL. I know there are no guarantees but I feel very good about the players we just added to this roster. CJ Spiller will have an immediate impact on how teams have to defend us which will hopefully improve the entire offensive production. I am excited to see what our defense looks like thise year and think we added a couple of guys who will produce from day one. I am much happier to have a draft class that will make an impact on the field as opposed to one that gets us a few headlines after the draft and then fails to produce in the long run. Time will tell but I like what I see so far.
  7. That is so true. If he was to draft by his own rankings he would get an F because he would have reached for many of his "guys". Kiper rated us low because we didn't pick guys where he ranked them, his rating means nothing.
  8. I voted wait and see because there is no real way to judge yet but if I graded how I like it so far I'd say B. We got some very good players at positions of need and an absolute difference maker at RB in Spiller. So far so good.
  9. "Jim Kelly, why the hell did we take him, he wants to play in the USFL! We could have had Wayne Capers and we needed a WR" "Bruce Smith? what a stretch, he's an over-weight end from a team in a weak conference, he'll be a bust!" "Andre Reed!! What a joke, I never heard of him or Kutztown. Mel Kiper liked other guys more than him!" "Why can't we just draft guys I've heard of like Todd Blacklede Curt Warner."
  10. That one made me laugh for some reason.
  11. As soon as I opened that link I thought "wow, she just looks stupid". I wonder if she can sue me for thinking that.
  12. If true, that is great information and a very valid reason to vote against. I guess even a partial change is a good start but if it is a bad rule in the post season, it's a bad rule in the regular season too. As far as I can recall, that is the only NFL rule that is different in the post season than it is in the regular season. Anyone know of any others?
  13. Are you kidding, I think I might get 2. (one to crap on and one to cover it up with.) Sorry, I couldn't resist.
  14. I have lots of tacky Bills gear but this is the worst I have ever seen. It has to be a joke. It's not like the NFC logo is only on there once, it's all over the place. Good Lord.
  15. So this has nothing to do with his being the bast palyer in golf and one of the most recognizable people on the planet? TMZ and the National Enquirer don't give a crap about middle of the road golfers like Hunter Mahan ar Charles Howell III. It's not because their white, it's because no one outside of golf knows who they are.
  16. I can hear it now, Buffalo Bill Cody. The media will eat that up. That would be a layup for Chris Berman.
  17. The SuperBowl also rejected an ad last year for a company called AshleyMadison.com. They are basically a dating site established for people looking to have an affair. Their motto is something like "Life is short, have an affair". So there is clearly a precedent established for "outside the norm" dating sites.
  18. I have a friend who was on the Bills coaching staff up until his dismissal at the end of the season. He said that the general opinion of the coaches was that Maybin shouldn't even be in the league, let alone a first round pick. He said he "ran like Forest Gump" and never impressed on or off the field. I hope he's wrong but he was pretty clear in his opinion.
  19. Possible, but Smith was brought in to coach outside LB's wasn't he?
  20. Sort of. The real question he was asked was whether or not experience in the Superbowl was an advantage for a team that had been there recently. He said that you would think so and then cited the example of Buffalo being "too comfortable" and partying the whole week leading up to the game. He mentioned specific reports of them being out on Wed Thursday and Friday but stopped short of saying Saturday night as well. He implied we were "over-confident".
  21. Thanks for the advise Mr. 86 posts.
  22. He said they partied harder than every other team. He said they were out partying every night, veteran guys getting in fights at bars, etc.. No surprise for most of us but interesting to hear him say it. He said all they heard about in LA when we played Dallas for the first time was how the Bills were out at the clubs every night.
  23. Just remember, people said that about Flacco at first but he shot up the boards as the draft got closer. You may soon have winter marathon style shrinkage to deal with.
  24. Yup, I knew that as well. Buffalo boy done good. David was born in Buffalo, New York and grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the young age of seven he decide to be an actor, which eventually led him to study cinema and photography at Ithaca College in New York. After graduating from college, David moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue a career in the movies. His father, David Thomas Boreanaz, was known as Dave Thomas in Buffalo. He was the host of Rocketship 7, a local children's program (which also featured Promo the Robot). He was also co-host of Dialing for Dollars, another local program. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004770/bio
  25. Leonard Weaver? From what I saw of him against the Cowboys, you can have him.
