  1. I like what I saw in that second video. He seemed pretty accurate on the deep balls to me.
  2. He joked about that. He said they take his sharpies away from him before games so that he doesn't write anything on his shirt and give them back after the game for autographs.
  3. He made this hire because he thinks Nate will be able to help him succeed in Buffalo. Time will tell if he is right, but to say he did it out of laziness is ridiculous. NFL and college analysts have already stated that it was only a matter of time before Nate became an NFL coordinator. This was not a decision made out of nepotism in my opinion, it was a coach taking the opportunity to build a staff of people he knew that could help him meet his goals. I for one, am excited to see this refreshing stategy. Let the teams like Cleveland struggle over which retreads to to bring in while our coach starts building for the future.
  4. He is on set at SportsNation right now. Pretty funny, mixing it up quite a bit with Marcellous Wiley. Wiley said " you probably can't even bench 300 pounds" and Stevie came right back with "no, but I can get open." the host said do you guys want to take it outside? and Wiley said "nah, were joking around, it's a Bills thing, we are both Bills" they were both smiling the whole time.
  5. Lol, i was still writing my re-cap when you posted. good job. I agree with your assessment of his all in comment.
  6. Nothing groundbreaking, but he did represent well. He was well spoken and gave good responses. Started with question from Mort re: RGIII. Said he wasn't surprised he played because he himself played with torn groin all year. Sounded excited about Marrone although he has not met or talked to him yet. Mort asked him about Fitzpatrick and he said there should be an open competition at all positions but he believed Fitz would win. Said "I gotta stick with me guy, we have good chemistry". He ended by answering question re: Seahawks. Said they did a great job putting that team together "the right way" by drafting great players and giving them time to develop. Said he would not be surprised if they went to SuperBowl, even though they have a tough matchup with Falcons this week.
  7. Maybe Trent Edwards can mentor him. (and teach him how to grow an awesome Fu Manchu.)
  8. No, as stated previously, I know Nate and I know what he brings to the table.
  9. Even when he was on Jaurons staff, he worked very closely with the QB's and was involved in the game planning. He grew up with an intimate knowledge of the NFL, through his father, and much like the QB who grows up surrounded by NFL players ala the Mannings, he has picked up a great deal of knowledge along the way. He is "older than his years" in coaching experience.
  10. Do not let the "quality control" label fool you. Nate understands NFL offenses and he will be a great addition to this staff.
  11. Btw, for what it is worth, he is definitely the new OC. (for those wondering if it is a different position coach job)
  12. I know Nate personally and I am thrilled with this news! He knows his sh*t, loves the Bills and is committed to winning. This will be great for us! And as stated previously, I would not be at all surprised to see Nassib in a Bills uni next season.
  13. Good lord, first it's his blinking, now his teeth? He is under extreme pressure without having even called one play yet.
  14. It's on like a Mofo was already taken. He wanted to be original.
  15. Wow, I read this 5 times and still have no idea what it means.
  16. Nix: "I wonder why they asked me to keep this chair warm?"
  17. I am not sure there is a QB in this draft that merits that kind of trade. Geno Smith is the closest, and he if far from a sure thing.
  18. I have a friend who was on his staff at Syracuse and he said that that is definitely not confirmed yet. He said as of yesterday afternoon that he was in a "wait and see" mode.
  19. RGIII is really struggling right now.
  20. Glad to see we aren't the only ones fooled by Wilsons option run. Great play for the TD.
  21. Wow, Lynch just made a great scoop on that fumble.
  22. I am not a juvenile, just an immature adult.
