  1. What? Let's just trade shirts, no one will even notice.
  2. it will take some people to get over their natural hatred of all things Jets. They will come around.
  3. lol. You didn't need to change, but I like the new one.
  4. By the way, I predict 50 plus pages by days end. nice avatar.
  5. When is Revis available as free agent?
  6. I like the changed subject line better. I hope he stays as long as they can work out their philosophical differences. 2 great defensive minds on one coaching staff COULD be a great thing.
  7. Anything short of resurrecting Vince Lombardi and making him our coach and people are going to B word, and even then, there would be detractors. I am glad to see that the Pegulas are willing to go out and pay top dollar for coaches who are highly respected in the NFL. There is a negative to any available candidate but this is a pretty bold statement. I believe this will help the Bills attract free agents.
  8. I agree, thanks! It is much more fun going through this on TBD. Even with the crazy opinions.
  9. Same old Bills? We go out and spend huge money on one of the most in demand coaches in the league and are planning on paying top dollar for highly respected coordinators. Sounds like a whole new Bills to me! I love it so far.
  10. I am reading some articles that Schwartz will stay and some that he is gone. I hope he stays but not sure those 2 can coexist. Didnt think of that at first, but you may be right. Rex's wife would be happy.
  11. Heard a strong rumor tonight from someone that I believe would have access to this information, that Rex Ryan will be announced next week as the Falcons coach. I have no evidence to back his claim but I do believe him. We'll find out soon enough.
  12. I believe he would have had less catches that Sammy in our Offense. He is a good receiver but I believe that Sammy is better. All things being equal, Sammy would outproduce OBJ in my opinion.
  13. I was thinking I missed an announcement too. On the bright side, many of us were probably more productive at work today.
  14. I think he will declare if he plays at a very high level this week. If he does not, he will stay in school one more year. If he did declare, and was available in the 3rd round, he would be worth a good look.
  15. I just made this point in the Rex Ryan thread. He is a Defensive guru who has faced our Offense twice a year for several years. Who better to discuss our weaknesses and areas most in need of improvement. I hope we really take advantage of this opportunity to pick his brain.
  16. I am not a fan of Rex Ryan and the circus that he brings with him, coming to Buffalo as a head coach. However, I am a huge fan of the Bills interviewing him! Who better to have a conversation with regarding ways to improve our Offense, than the Defensive guru who faces them twice per year. If it is true that one of the benefits of interviewing HC candidates is to pick their brains and learn from their experiences and ideas, then this is a very important interview.
  17. This. NFL coaching is too incestuous to burn any bridges if you are still trying to make it in the league.
  18. I would only consider a trade like that if we got someone like Andrew Luck in return. By the way, it was easier to read the second time. Thanks for editing.
  19. or a Marrone. (See what I did there?)
  20. I thought that was a requirement to TAKE the job. (Sorry, that was too easy)
  21. Not that they would have, but wasn't he off the board by the time they picked?
  22. At least he will have someone driving him...
  23. or GM if he can get more people to play for $2,000. Maybe our new football guru?
  24. That is how I look at it too. Snoop was going to give his kid the money anyway, might as well use it to reward behavior you are trying to encourage. A friend of mine has recently offered his 11 year old son, who needs to drop some weight, $5 per pound lost, or $500 to lose 20 pounds. Shouldn't have to bribe our kids to do the right thing, but I can see why people do it.
  25. As many here know, Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus is a pretty good WR. Apparently he did not want to play football when he was 6 years old so Snoop gave him $2K to play. I know several parents who give cash incentives to their kids for achievements in sports like TD's or Home Runs. What do you think of this practice? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2320843-snoop-dogg-paid-his-son-how-much-to-play-football
