  1. He seems genuinely excited to be playing for Rex and I believe this coaching staff will know how to use him. I say please bring him back.
  2. If he comes out now, I predict he is a second or third rounder, especially if he lights it up at the Combine, which I believe he would. If he stays in school and spends the season on the bench, which is possible, then he may drop next year or have to come back one more year to get the exposure. I am guessing he comes out...
  3. I think that in the long run he will have a very successful coaching career in the NFL. He is early in his career and will blossom outside of Marrone's shadow in my opinion.
  4. I agree with this. Is there such a thing as assistant OC and would he take it?
  5. When did this happIN?
  6. I did not want him originally, but I voted approve. He is thought of very highly around the NFL and this shows the Pegulas are willing to do whatever it takes to build a winner and garner respect in Buffalo.
  7. What? Let's just trade shirts, no one will even notice.
  8. it will take some people to get over their natural hatred of all things Jets. They will come around.
  9. lol. You didn't need to change, but I like the new one.
  10. By the way, I predict 50 plus pages by days end. nice avatar.
  11. When is Revis available as free agent?
  12. I like the changed subject line better. I hope he stays as long as they can work out their philosophical differences. 2 great defensive minds on one coaching staff COULD be a great thing.
  13. Anything short of resurrecting Vince Lombardi and making him our coach and people are going to B word, and even then, there would be detractors. I am glad to see that the Pegulas are willing to go out and pay top dollar for coaches who are highly respected in the NFL. There is a negative to any available candidate but this is a pretty bold statement. I believe this will help the Bills attract free agents.
  14. I agree, thanks! It is much more fun going through this on TBD. Even with the crazy opinions.
  15. Same old Bills? We go out and spend huge money on one of the most in demand coaches in the league and are planning on paying top dollar for highly respected coordinators. Sounds like a whole new Bills to me! I love it so far.
  16. I am reading some articles that Schwartz will stay and some that he is gone. I hope he stays but not sure those 2 can coexist. Didnt think of that at first, but you may be right. Rex's wife would be happy.
  17. Heard a strong rumor tonight from someone that I believe would have access to this information, that Rex Ryan will be announced next week as the Falcons coach. I have no evidence to back his claim but I do believe him. We'll find out soon enough.
  18. I believe he would have had less catches that Sammy in our Offense. He is a good receiver but I believe that Sammy is better. All things being equal, Sammy would outproduce OBJ in my opinion.
  19. I was thinking I missed an announcement too. On the bright side, many of us were probably more productive at work today.
  20. I think he will declare if he plays at a very high level this week. If he does not, he will stay in school one more year. If he did declare, and was available in the 3rd round, he would be worth a good look.
  21. I just made this point in the Rex Ryan thread. He is a Defensive guru who has faced our Offense twice a year for several years. Who better to discuss our weaknesses and areas most in need of improvement. I hope we really take advantage of this opportunity to pick his brain.
  22. I am not a fan of Rex Ryan and the circus that he brings with him, coming to Buffalo as a head coach. However, I am a huge fan of the Bills interviewing him! Who better to have a conversation with regarding ways to improve our Offense, than the Defensive guru who faces them twice per year. If it is true that one of the benefits of interviewing HC candidates is to pick their brains and learn from their experiences and ideas, then this is a very important interview.
  23. This. NFL coaching is too incestuous to burn any bridges if you are still trying to make it in the league.
  24. I would only consider a trade like that if we got someone like Andrew Luck in return. By the way, it was easier to read the second time. Thanks for editing.
  25. or a Marrone. (See what I did there?)
