  1. please, please, please not Schwartz. That would really suck.
  2. I wish I could disregard this as drunk ramblings, but honestly I've seen it way too many times. Both of the calls that negated TD's were very very weak. Incognito's hit was above the waist which I believe is legal and that I did not see that hold after re-running the play several times.
  3. for the record, Nate Hackett scripted his first 10 plays too
  4. Someone had to be cut to make room for Dareus. Whaley cut the player he deemed the most expendable, even though many of us disagree.
  5. it often is not with the Pats* but the type and timing of the penalties usually have a negative impact for us compared to them.
  6. and the Jags get crushed by Patriots and go up 2. Makes sense.
  7. Good onya Chad. Great win!
  8. better lucky than good?I am impressed by the Ole Miss Defense
  9. Holy crap! That was awesome!
  10. Let's see Chad's arm on this 1 minute drive. Nope. Bummer.
  11. Thanks! I was wondering why no one else was talking about it.
  12. Looking very good against Alabama so far.
  13. My 12 year old would be more witty than that. That's about 8 year old level humor.
  14. That is why Satan opted to coach his team so that he can keep a close watch from the sidelines.
  15. I agree that this is a great strategy, especially early in the year. I remember hearing a color commentator in one of the pre-season games talking about how teams often run trick plays like reverses and things like that, late in the pre-season and early in the season, just to "get it on film" and give seasonal opponents other things to prepare for.
  16. Here's to hoping we don't have to find that out for awhile.
  17. When I go to an away game, I usually buy my tickets on Stub Hub and often end up in a season ticket holder section. I show up with my Bills gear on, call the beer vendor over and offer to buy a beer for the fans of the other team in my immediate area. I tell them that I will cheer for my team but I will be respectful and not cheer "against" their team. I never have issues with this approach and usually end up having great conversations with fans of the other team. There was even a time when we were losing and fans several rows up tried to heckle me and the fans around me told them to be quiet.
  18. For all of the people complaining about the change in the play calling and conservative Defense in the second half last week, please remember the reaction when Marrone did not take this approach against the Pats*. We were dominating them in a game (I believe it was last year) and instead of running the ball more and eating up the clock in order to protect our lead, we continued with a no huddle offense and aggressive play calling and ultimately lost a game we should have won. Be happy Rex and company are smart coaches who understand how to protect a lead and close out a game against a very dangerous opponent. There will be games this year where he will be able to step on opponents throats and dominate wire to wire, but against a team like the Colts or Pats* you do what you can to win.
  19. Taylor pass to Watkins on right side for 47 yards. 17 first downs
  20. its gonna be the Pats*. At least for a week.
