  1. You are a bundle of joy...
  2. It depends on when his contract with Satan expires.
  3. I am looking forward to seeing what Listenbee brings to the table.
  4. that is fine but can you wait until he actually accomplishes something before you start taking victory laps? There is a roughly 50% chance that he will never accomplish anything in the NFL, and if he does it is at least 2-3 years out. Feel free to come back then to celebrate your superior scouting intellect. In the meantime we would like to hang here and talk about our Bills. Buh-bye
  5. oh! That is different and quite interesting. Thanks!
  6. if they get him and Blount they will have something like nine running back's on the roster. And soon the entire league will follow suit
  7. ??? So it is now somehow wrong to try and try gang members for their crimes? (btw, I see a move to PPP in the near future)
  8. LOL. On Good Morning Football today they said that Vlad Ducasse is a big factor in this move. According to them, the Ravens were about to sign Blount but now they are hesitating. According to them, the Ravens love comp picks and are in line for a 7th rounder next year if Ducasse makes the Bills. If the sign Blount, they lose that pick so now they are hesitating. They also talked about the "Patriots effect" where people are reluctant to sign former Pats because they believe their success is due to the system. It is true that an 18 TD RB should be drawing much more interest than he is.
  9. lol. Funny, I didn't look at it that way until you said it. Good point.
  10. Sparky? way to win a debate. That game was 5 Super Bowls ago. Since then he has had 62 TD's and 27 INT's. So your 4:1 ratio is ridiculous if you are looking at more than just one year, he is much closer to 2:1 now. He may have once been a decent NFL starter but now he is a marginal backup at best.
  11. Wait, I thought it was hand size that determined successful QB's.
  12. Ridiculous statement. I personally believe his current abilities as a QB are highly over rated and there are plenty of better backups out there that are already on NFL teams. I couldn't care less about his off field beliefs etc., I just don't think he is as talented as some people believe.
  13. Part of a gang that was charged under the Rico act. I believe Sammy's "out of pocket" is actually $100K
  14. Since I think this thread is running out of steam... what if Chad Kelly is better than Peterman AND Mahomes? If Chad wins multiple SuperBowls with the Broncos, heads would be exploding all over this board. It would be like the scene from the movie Kingsman.
  15. Wow, no doubt. He just wanted to meet an NFL player in person. That is BS, it is easy to guess where the money is coming from if his brother is a first round draft pick in the NFL. There is zero reason Sammy should have to leave his job to explain to a judge where his money came from.
  16. Great list, but you realize that over half of the teams basically say it is a group decision. Not all the teams have one man "calling the shots", most don't.
  17. What's the old expression, once you start listening to the fans you will soon be sitting with them? (Or something like that)
  18. Is this a good time to say "trust the process"? 😜
  19. Not if you're Ray Rice. If you are talented enough, someone will give you a shot eventually. If you are marginal and risk offending fans or sponsors, buh-bye.
  20. I find this VERY hard to believe. Some teams it's the coach, some it's the GM and some it is the owner. And sometimes it is a combination of 2 or 3 of those. Teams don't usually disclose who has final say but fans and media speculate and assume.
  21. i have a feeling the Cowboys may go for him at some point.
  22. I guess that is better than disrespectfully agreeing. 😃 The problem is, if the team did not believe there was a franchise QB available in the first round, let alone in the entire draft, would you have felt better if they took one at 10 and spent the next 2-3 seasons trying to make the pick work? I personally feel better knowing we have 4 QB's on the roster to evaluate this year and the ability to target a QB next draft with our 2 picks if no one stands out.
  23. Maybe I am naïve, but I would assume that almost every successful franchise is run with a collaboration between head coach and general manager. The trick is that they to share a similar vision and have an understanding about how to get there. I agree there is no added benefit to losing a close one and we often spend time late in the season saying if only these 2 or 3 games had gone differently. But hopefully coaching can help close the gap in close games going forward. Time will tell. It sounds like you and I are in agreement regarding the GM, coach relationship.
  24. That McDermott will be a puppet master for Beane. That appears to be what you are implying by saying he will ultimately get his way.
