  1. I definitely did. I think losing Benjamin affected the whole team. Of course, we will never know what could have been...
  2. Yeah, I voted that Peterman will start, not necessarily because I think that he gives us a better chance to win, but rather that MCDermott made the decision to start him because of something he saw or hoped to see and I would be surprised if he gave up on that conviction this quickly.
  3. Well there's your problem right there. You're supposed to drink during the games. It makes everything a little more tolerable.
  4. Oh man, this place will go even crazier than it already is.
  5. I was fully expecting much more out of Peterman than we saw yesterday, that's for sure. When he had that nice pass to Benjamin, I was getting excited, and then it all came crashing down. I was not calling for Tyrod to be replaced, but when the decision was made, I was hoping for a more consistent passing attack to our receivers. That is obviously not how things went. I still think Peterman may be a decent QB at some point, but I am afraid that he may not be able to bounce back from that performance anytime soon.
  6. Lebatard was all over this today too. Said we were forcing a back man to run a white mans offense rather than taking the time to install a "black QB offense". The comments were so stupid I could not believe he was being serious. (but he was)
  7. Is the Hauschka injury new? Don't remember him having a hip injury...
  8. Any update on Zay yet? He and Peterman looked good together early on.
  9. I hope Zay is back this week. He and Peterman have good chemistry.
  10. I honestly don't get it. What's a LEENGEND and who is that in the top picture?
  11. If he is a mediocre backup then wouldn't he be even more likely to lose than Tyrod? I love this news. Now we can see what we have in Peterman, if anything, prior to the draft. Oh, and if by chance he DOES succeed? Bonus!
  12. This leadership team is not afraid to make bold moves, that is for sure!
  13. I have to disagree. There were times when TT had a clean pocket and plenty of time and he missed the window of opportunity on an open receiver and had to check down or throw it away. There was a particular play I remember where he had Benjamin coming open on a cross route 10-15 yards down field, but he held it too long and then forced a check down throw to Shady for little to no gain. I'm not saying Peterman would do any better, but there were times that TT did did not take advantage of time in the pocket.
  14. I just got a text from a buddy of mine. Turns out this guy is his nephew. Apparently he is still in jail this morning...
  15. I hate to admit it, but on the play with the late hit and holding, when the announcer said Tyrod was hurt, I was hoping he would be out for the game. Not because I dislike him, but because I really want to see what Peterman is before the season is over. A couple of drives in garbage time is not a good indicator.
  16. LaGarrett Blount all over again.
  17. Close, it's beaver-eh
  18. a quick shock to anyone who starts duplicate threads without searching first.
  19. I think a lot of this stems from our inability to put pressure on the QB. no pressure equals more time to find open receiver, etc. I am honestly not sure if this is a player issue or scheme issue but I really hope we can turn it around.
  20. Unemployed.... McAdoo is the obvious one but I'm gonna say Vance Joseph. I know Denver is not the type of organization that gives up quickly on coaches, but I'm not sure he's a good fit.
  21. My guess is they want him more for his return skills than his running skills, so Gillislee would not have been a better fit.
