A rivalry is not just judged by the most recent games or current relevance of the teams involved. It is all about history between the teams, big games they've played, times they have eliminated each other, etc... So yes, Miami is still our rival.
That is correct but it usually helps the kicking team when you run forward to the ball. You are usually much better off letting it get past the first wall of players so that someone in the second tier can wrap it up.
I'm not shocked. We had a few other things on our collective minds.
that being said, it was good to see our team step up and respond to a challenge. It was hilarious when Richie went to the officials to ask why he was ejected while he was standing on the sideline watching...
There is more to it than just a play here or there. A player like Kyle near the end of his career affects games differently than that. Today was a good example...
Matt Hasselbach said it on the pregame show. I hope it's true too. He said it is Gronk's own fault that he missed the incentives because of the suspension
They were talking about some on the pregame show this morning. Several guys like Thielen who needs 5 catches for $250K, Clayborn from ATL who needs a half sack for big money, etc...
My favorite was Gronkowski who supposedly has $5.5 mil in incentives on the table. He only has a chance of hitting 2 for $2 million (number of receptions and percentage of playing time) but will likely miss both because of his one game suspension. I LOVE karma.
My guess is Allen climbs up the charts throughout the off season and ends up in the top 10 on day one. He will be like Flacco who was originally projected as a third rounder and then shot up the board after the season ended.
