  1. If he is anything like either of those two, I really hope we get him!
  2. I voted Rudolph because I have been "researching" him lately and believe he could be developed into a pro style QB. I honestly have not looked into Jackson much because he appeared to be regressing early n the season and I stopped paying attention. I am curious though, I have seen a lot of Tyrod/Geno/Wilson comparisons for Jackson, but never Cam Newton. I thought his body type was closer to Cam than the others, is there any similarity to their styles?
  3. Yes, or at least explain why you believe the Steelers will willingly part ways with arguably the best RB in the NFL.
  4. Not sure what he will go for but I hope the most we are willing to give up would be a third or maybe a 3rd with a conditional 6-7.
  5. I would actually be ok with him as long as we had our potential "future franchise QB" on the roster at the same time. If we had Bradford, or almost any of the other FA options out there, I still hope we draft someone to develop behind them.
  6. Not so much of a bridge, more like a rickety old plank across the water, that may or may not snap in half as you make your way across. COULD get you safely to the other side or could drown your season half way through...
  7. A payday? Hasn't he made a large pile of money already in his career? Not to say he doesn't want more, but if I recall, he was one of the last big rookie contract QB's. Pretty sure he's already made over $100 million in his career, which certainly does not match his production.
  8. This is awful. So sad that he could not find help before it came to this.
  9. Gotcha, I just assumed they would be locking one of them up. Frankly, I don't know how you let Keenum go after the season he had.
  10. So now the Vikings need to draft a QB? I thought they had too many.
  11. Oh crap! I ordered the same jersey for my son and I am now guessing it was from the same site. I have been waiting 3-4 weeks as well. Time to take a closer look at my credit card statements. Huh, I hope mine shows up soon too. How does it look?
  12. I like Ferguson as a late round flier, if he were available in the 5-7 range, but only as a second option. If we get another QB through the draft or FA, he might be a good developmental project.
  13. I don't need 3 reasons, just 3 words. "Anyone but Patriots*".
  14. Good lord no. No more "discretionary" calls to be used against us and in favor of the Pats*. I do admit that it is annoying when a team takes a Hail Mary, low percentage shot down the field and get great field position due to PI, but too many teams would exploit a 15 yard penalty and the officials can't be trusted to differentiate between the 2 different types.
  15. I watched him play against UCLA this year and he definitely looked impressive in that game. I kept trying to figure out why he ws so far behind Rosen even though they both had great games that day. I think Ferguson will be a pro QB at some point but his game will need quite a bit of work before a team is willing to hand him the reigns.
  16. This thread was made worse by the fact it was right over the “building a winning team with high character players” thread. i am guessing Cam wouldn’t fit in with the type of players we are currently trying to build around.
  17. I don't know how any Bills fan could cheer for the Patriots* to be honest with you. They could be playing against a team of convicted serial killers and I would still cheer for the other team. Anyone but the Patriots* will stand until this era is no more and probably beyond that.
  18. so did you mean Keenum was the great QB?
  19. I could see a new thread if you had some kind of new perspective to share, but for a question? To answer: I am sure it was because he and McDermott share some kind of similar philosophy about how the offense should be run and McD and Beane trust him to execute on that shared vision.
  20. I like that this isn’t another re-tread coordinator who’s tried and failed in the NFL. Might be great to get a new perspective
  21. Learned under Saban and Belicheck? I like the pedigree.
  22. Yes, he is having surgery on a healthy shoulder just to trick us into thinking he didn’t just have a bad year. ?
  23. Is she the one who keeps posting penis pictures or is that you?
  24. I get the sentiment, but I’m think it is good for an organization to show they are willing to let people advance their careers when opportunities arise. Talented personnel will be less likely to come here if they feel we are hesitant to allow them to advance their careers outside of the organization. It sucks to lose him but this may also help us recruit other front office talent in the future.
