  1. Lol. Jackson’s agent/mother said he is a QB. That being said, there WAS a video going around of Josh Allen making a great one handed catch...
  2. I echo what everyone else said. Great stuff and thanks for putting in the effort! I got 8-8 and that is with beating the Patriots* once.
  3. I get that. I honestly think Allen is more athletic and mobile than he is being given credit for, but as someone said earlier, he is mobile compared to other QB's, Jackson is mobile compared to other football players. That makes sense. Lol, I intentionally avoided using the term "package" when talking about special plays for him, just to stay out of that rat hole. ?
  4. To those of you who have used the "confused" reaction to my post without comment, why is this confusing to you? I would not be surprised if the coaches tried to find a way to get their future franchise QB on the field somehow, even if he is not starting. I don't think this will necessarily happen, especially after hearing "No Place To Hyde's" logical explanation on why it wouldn't make sense, but I don't think it is outside the realm of possibility either.
  5. I strongly disagree with. My guess is middle of the pack, with 7 or 8 wins. I think WAY too many people are putting too much emphasis on the pre-season this year. There is A LOT of talent on this Defense and we are better coached than we have been in years. There is obviously a big wildcard based on QB play this season, but I think Peterman will be serviceable and Allen will be well above average when he is ready. There will quite likely plenty of ups and downs this season, but nothing close to 0-16 in my opinion.
  6. Good thing he got rid of that offset language. ?
  7. Funny, I did not hear that. I just started thinking about it after hearing multiple conversations around how the Ravens may use Lamar.
  8. Good point actually. Very true that they are in different situations right now. So would that same argument hold true for using Allen in "clean up duty" in a blow out win or loss?
  9. Do you say that because you think he would be ineffective, or because you think he could get hurt? I don't necessarily think they will do it, but I would sure love to see him on the field in some capacity. Maybe he can become a receiver like Foles. ?
  10. So I asked this question in another thread but it is kind of buried and I was wondering what people thought so I decided to start a new thread for it. There is a lot of talk in the media about Baltimore having designed plays to get Lamar Jackson on the field to utilize his unique capabilities, but no one that I heard has speculated that we might do the same with Allen. I know there is a risk to messing up the rhythm of the offense when you do this, but does anyone think Daboll might design some plays for Allen in order to take advantage of his mobility and big arm, as well as get him valuable game time experience? I know he is not really a gadget type of player, but I think it could really create some mis-matches for the Defense given how different his skill set is from Peterman. I for one would love to see this happen.
  11. He would jump up and down on one foot if he has to in order to be out there against the lineman that he said "wasn't even trying to block him".
  12. I've been wondering. Everybody keeps talking bout how Baltimore will have designed plays to get Lamar Jackson on the field to utilize his unique capabilities, but I have not heard anyone speculate that the Bills might use Allen in a similar capacity. Does anyone think that Daboll might put Allen on the field from time to time to utilize his mobility and arm strength, as well as give him valuable game time experience? I know it is unorthodox and could mess up the timing of the offense, but I also think it could work extremely well in the right situations.
  13. Schein has been a vocal Allen supporter, so this is more about support for Allen than negativity towards Peterman.
  14. I voted Rams. Not just because of all the hype around them but also because I am not high on the Raiders right now. Oh, and Aaron Donald is back!
  15. He will be a good stand in for Flacco when it comes to replicating that strong arm.
  16. Didn't he say last year that ideally Bortles would never throw the ball? That is one way to get zero interceptions.
  17. over-reacting to the negative hype against the Bills right now.
  18. - Bills wins 5.5. Over (6-8) - Allen starts 12. Under (5-6) - McCoy rushing yards 1,150. Under (900-1,000 plus 300-400 receiving yards) - Leading receiver yards 750 Over (Zay Jones baby! 800-900 yards) - Leading receiver catches 65. Over (multiple receivers) - Total INTs 15. Over - Player with most INTs 4.5. Over (Tre with 6) - Player with most sacks 8.5. Under - 1st win week 4. Under (week 1 we beat the Ravens) - 1st 2019 draft pick number 6. Over. (12-15) - Bills Pro Bowlers 1.5. Over. (White and Hyde at a minimum, hopefully Shady and Kyle too)
  19. Not really. Beane is doing his job and continuously trying to find ways to improve this team. I love that they are always looking for talent. Just because we bring someone in, doesn't mean we think they are better than what we already have.
  20. 18/27 185 yards 2 TD's 1INT. 45 yards rushing 1TD
  21. Happens every year. Someone in the media falls in love with some team and then it becomes group think and everyone else jumps on the bandwagon. It is usually Miami or Cleveland that gets the love for no apparent reason. It is never the Bills.
  22. If you focus too hard on not turning the ball over, you don't take chances and miss out on some big plays. (just ask Tyrod). To me, this is akin to the Bears telling Roquan Smith they wouldn't pay his fines for hard hits that are deemed illegal. You draft a player to be aggressive and fly to the ball but then you send him a message that says, if you do take chances, we won't support you.
  23. LOL, I love how tall they made Josh Allen. ?
  24. I am going to go on record predicting something akin opposite of this. I predict that Zay Jones will be the player we all hoped he could be last year. He will be a consistent target for our QB (s) and prove to be a great route runner with reliable hands. I predict 70-80 catches for 800-900 yards and 6-8 TD's. I like what I have seen from him so far in the pre-season and expect it to continue.
  25. As long as the O-line does not intentionally miss their blocks to allow him to be constantly pressured the entire game, it won't happen again.
