  1. Man, those 2 are gonna have some good lookin’ babies.
  2. I disagree with that. I wear Bills gear all the time, regardless of where I am. I will be sporting Bills gear all weekend in Green Bay next week.
  3. No worries, it’s all in fun. I’d rather debate football than politics any day. ? i agree with you on the Browns.
  4. That’s true. I almost said “many of us” instead, just for this reason, but I decided to give the fans on this sight the benefit of the doubt. IF we end up having a bad season and end up with the first pick, I’ll be happy come draft time. But in the meantime, it is only week 3 and I will be cheering for the Bills to win every game they play this season.
  5. I ALWAYS cheer for the win and then deal with the losses when they happen. I agree that in the big scheme this win would not likely mean much, but I enjoy my Sundays cheering for a good performance by the Bills, therefore, rooting against the OP.
  6. I hate to say it but we are all rooting against you. I hope the Bills find a way to win this game outright or at least make it close and show signs of life. Btw, 17 year drought broken in ‘17, new QB is number 17, 17 point spread. The universe is talking here, I’m just not sure what it’s saying.
  7. I am all for it. He's still available?
  8. Never said I hated him, but he is/was getting more praise than he has earned thus far. Of course that will change now and many will start over reacting in the other direction. eventually it will level off and he will be judged more accurately.
  9. look at me post (this isn't one by the way, I've been falsely accused ?)
  10. Do I believe that many members of the media have a pre-concieved narrative about certain players and then react to the extreme when they see something that fits that narrative? Yes I do. Many of them over-reacted when they saw signs of success in Darnold and many over-reacted when they signs of previous negative traits from Allen. I also believe that each QB will eventually get the positive or negative attention they deserve, but my point is, initially, they over-react to fit their initial expectations. I did not realize I was going to trigger the closet Jets fans on this board. For the record, this was meant to be a shot at the media and their tendency to over-react to a single game performance, not a shot at Darnold. He could very well become a great NFL QB, I just think we need to give it a few more games before we start declaring him, or any other player a success or failure.
  11. This thread is ridiculous... Please, point to where the media is annointing him a HOF player, or singing undeserved praises. Unlike our first round QB, Darnold actually played at a high level against good competition, put up good numbers, and was on of the best in his conference. Seriously? For the past 2 weeks I have heard, seen and read dozens of "NFL analysts" like Cris Carter, Cowherd, Joe Namath, Romo, etc etc talking about how the Jets finally had their QB of the future and how great he would be. I don't give a crap about how he played in college, I am just saying everyone needs to slow their roll and wait for more than one game before talking about how awesome he is. Did you post a similar thread for Josh Allen in regard to the board? Something like "Will tonight's game delay Allen's Wall of Fame ceremony in Orchard Park?" or "Will fans let Allen make it through training camp before proclaiming he's the best QB from the draft?" No, fans usually over-react to positive and negative performances. No need to call them out. The media is supposed to be a bit more level headed. Notice I did not mention the Jets fans over-reaction. Wreaks of jealousy & pettiness. What are you going to say about Mayfield getting all the praise he's going to get this week? You going to get upset that players, pundits, and all the "experts" talk so highly of him & praise what he was able to do for Cleveland in his first game, when an established veteran like Tyrod could not? When the media over-reacts to one good game by Baker Mayfield, as I am sure they will, I will say the same thing. Let's wait until he accomplishes something more than one good game before we start calling him great. Not jealous, just pointing out that the media is over-reacting to one positive performance and at the same time calling Allen a bust because of a few off target throws. Darnold is a damn good player. Sorry you never paid attention to him enough to know that. I didn't say he wasn't a good player, but he also isn't as good YET as the national media portrayed him after week 1. Sorry I offended you by pointing out the media's tendency to over-react to good or bad performances to fit their pre-determined narratives. Feel free to go hang out on the JETS fan sites and ball wash Darnold there with your other Jets fan friends.
  12. Oh no! This breaks my heart. My prayers are with everyone dealing with this tragic loss.
  13. Lol, yeah, I have intentionally avoided that thread. All the media praise will likely now switch to Mayfield. And if Allen throws 4TD’s and 1 INT on Sunday, we will hear all about how innaccurate the INT throw was.
  14. Oh, I don’t doubt he’ll get better, although protecting the ball is not his strong suit. I just see no evidence yet that he’ll be any better than, say, Mark Sanchez. He could quite possibly be much better, but I can’t believe all the “experts” that were anointing him a superstar after 1 good game.
  15. I’m sorry, are we supposed to join in on the media’s over reaction on Jets QB’s now? I’m not hating on him, I’m just saying I am sick of him being praised for his greatness while Allen is being called a bust, even though he is arguably better so far this season.
  16. I am already sick of all the unwarranted praise being heaped upon him by the media. Maybe they should wait until he accomplishes something before praising his greatness.
  17. Let’s just say, he’ll even “sweep your chimney” wink wink
  18. I am amazed how quickly people are giving up on these guys. It takes time to get things moving in the right direction. They made the playoffs for the first time in 17 years! That does not happen by accident. R-e-l-a-x
  19. Exactly, even if Alabama, as good as they are, have 10-15 NFL level players on their team right not, Buffalo has 53 (or close to it) The NFL is full of the top several players from every college team. People seem to forget how elite the athletes are at the next level.
  20. I agree. I think it is important that they get this stuff on film, so they are able to work with him on correcting/minimizing the mistakes. You can't really do that if he is on the bench. I am glad he is out there now, because in a few weeks we will see if he is able to progress and make the necessary adjustments.
  21. That is a trade I could get behind. Yes please.
