Time to spread the reps to the young guys to see what they can do.

I for one, am happy that this administration does not give up on players too early. This is a development year, we were never going to be a true competitor, might as well see what you have in some players before you move on.

You have to factor in the times the offense gives up points or puts the Defense in a bad position by turning the ball over and giving opposing offense a short field.

We were not going anywhere with Tyrod. We HAD to take a step (or a few steps) backwards to move forward. I have no idea if it will work or not, a lot will depend on Allen, but it had to be done.

I don't necessarily believe that this is an "intentional" tank, I honestly think we are this bad. That being said, I don't think the powers that be are too concerned with getting better this year, which makes me believe they are comfortable that their jobs are safe. Most everyone is aware that a top 5 pick in the first round is valuable, even if we will not likely draft a QB next year, but the best part is having a top 5 pick in every round gives us so much more flexibility for trade, picks, etc... I know we are all sick of saying "wait til next year" but unfortunately, it is all we have at this point.

The brick hands photoshop was funny, but thank goodness this is no longer a concern. Say has been fighting for the ball and has shown me that he will be a competent #2 or #3 receiver once we get this offense re-built.

There are older players, true, but there was a graphic yesterday during the game that said 40% of our roster is comprised of 1st or 2nd year players. That is a young, inexperienced team.
